Ok I managed to fix it. But I have another question. How do you change the Home Breadcrumb in bbPRess. I notice that the demo links it to the forum with all the categories/topics while my home breadcrumb links to my homepage.

i LOVE the Newspaper Theme. I use it or my Newswebsite. But Now i want to run it for a other project too. A Restaurant Directory. I use the GeoDirectory plugin for it. But i cant use Newspaper and GeoDirectory together.

Ideally you would use the “suggested” plugin for the theme, “Contact Form 7,” or similar, to set the desired fields and how the information is emailed to you.
The default contact us page is just like the demo:

The demo contact us page uses Contact Form 7: https://wordpress.org/plugins/contact-form-7/
Best bet is to setup working project on a website, such as
yoursite.com/wordpress/
then when you go live, move to yoursite.com
(directions on the wordpress.org show how to do this)
This way you can see what actually works on a real web server vs localhost, where things do NOT always work as expected, particularly plugins and optimizations for speed (caching, expiration headers, image optimization, etc).
Best to setup your site without demo data, which is really only useful for showing to a client. Best to start with CLEAN site, and import a “style” then put in your own original content, since the demo content cannot actually be used for anything in the real world.
You get an error when you change themes or sometimes update WordPress.
Or, if somebody tries to access your theme folder directly, which is not normal.
Typically, click the “fixed” button. And if it happens again, look at your web site error logs to see what is being done to create that error.
This is more common when you load the demo content which isn’t real content and only for “demo” purposes not for a live site being managed in Webmaster tools.
– when you hover over the background ad, the cursor hand doesn’t appear – so you can’t tell the area is clickable
(someone said this on the newspaper forum, I tested it with newsmag and it has same problem)
– on my mobile phone (nexus 4) if I’m reading an article with more than 3 pictures and I tilt/rotate the phone – the pictures will get all messed up with the alignment and text. The pictures shouldn’t stack next to each other when you rotate the phone. (Strangely, this doesn’t seem to happen on the newsmag demo page).

I have also checked this and I also use an 1920х1080 LCD monitor but haven’t found any issues with it both on your site and our demo also.
I don’t think this is related to the display dimensions. Could you please make sure that you check this without any plugins active and also makes sure that you empty all cache/purge files if you use any, and also remove any custom modifications and try again.

The google webmaster 404 errors are natural as there aren’t any pages using that URL.
The ?s=xxx is the default WordPress search URL structure, the same one is present on our demo page: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/?s=ipad

No, I didn’t. Yes I changed the background color, but I still can’t see the arrow on my 1920х1080 LCD display regardless of the browser I use.
P.S. I also can’t see the arrow on your demo site. Do you see the arrow when you load the theme on 1920х1080 resolution screen?

I hope you had a nice christmas. I took the time and implemented adsense to my site. However, I stumbled over a problem with the ads, in particular how they are displayed on iPads in portrait mode. I am talking about the header ad banner. My theme is configured with header style 1 (logo + ad) + menu.
1. When I disable the ads on phone for the Header ad as your recommend, the header ad will not just be deacivated on phone but also on the iPad in vertical (portrait) mode. Landscape works fine. The portrait configuration however does not seem to have an effect. Why does this happen?
2. The same with sizes. When I adjust AdSense sizes for Portrait, the customization has no effect on the ads displayed on the iPad. Just the option for Phone does adjust the size. The default configuration (with activated ads on phone which we should not do) displays too small ad banners unlike your newspaper demo with 468×60 pixel. I assume the size is optimized for phones which have different default sizes than the iPad.
What I need to do is have header ads properly scaled and displayed in portrait mode on iPads while header ads on phones are deactivated. Am I mistaken with my configuration or do I fight with a bug? What can I do to fix it?

One reason for the search icon is not aligned is because you use another header style, and for Classic Block stack we make a special header, this one http://screencast.com/t/FEoXVhLMpcv and in combination with other headers is not guaranteed that everything will work fine.
We will fix this combination issue in version 5 to work better.
For the homepage if you want to achieve like on our demo, we use there the latest posts from Settings -> Reading http://screencast.com/t/sGhGtfDg

For images try a plugin like Smush it – https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-smushit/
Or add the following code at the end of the functions.php file:
add_filter( 'jpeg_quality', create_function('', 'return 50;' ) );
It will compress all future added images to 50%, but you have to regenerate the thumbs for the images that were already uploaded, you can doit using the Force Regenerate plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/force-regenerate-thumbnails/

Here i have setup demo site here http://div.wpdiv.com and enabled to use custom fonts.
1. But when i use custom fonts, i am able to apply custom font properties to post title, post content, widgets and top menu and main menu only. unable to use custom fonts with rest of the areas in the website.
How can i apply custom font properties rest of the areas? Also how can i set custom font family for the above section in case if there is any issue with custom fonts? like font-family {custom font, verdana, times new roman)
