can’t wait to see this theme on themeforest. Look at separators that takes away the white spaces from the theme!
And this theme is the result of the 18,197 posts at the forum.tagdiv. Many fixes that listed from the posts are what this theme is made of.
What we need in the future updates are only more blocks and modules so we can change the design how we want it.
I hope when I buy it and install the demo my site will look like this demo.
Saw it, wanted it and bought it. These words will be what I would be saying next week.

have installed demo content but the site looks wrong. It seems visual composer is not converting code to visual.
Would like the demo content that looks like http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_fashion/
After i install the tagdiv speedbooster plugin and move the css and js at the footer when i reload the page at first the color of titles “Latest Articles” “keep in touch” etc. are blue(the default color the demo was) and then after maybe 1 second it turns grey(the color i choice to be). Any possible fix?

I need more info about the slider you refer too. My guess is that you refer to the category pages, and therefore to this slider: http://screencast.com/t/8QbGolQxWdQ
In this case you can remove the slider from theme panel > categories then select the drop-down fro the category you want to customize and disable the slider like this: http://screencast.com/t/RQd3P2TIjVP5
In the same location you have the option to change posts’s layout to the module you like, for square thumbs and 2 columns you can use module 2 layout: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/category/module-2-category/

Most likely, “Block6” element which you are using is custom coded by the theme author and is not a part of our standalone plugin. You can check our standard elements here: http://demo.wpbakery.com/vc/wp-admin/
If you need any help with our standard elements, you can let us know. But, since we are not aware of the code that is being used in the custom element like “Block6”, I would advise you to get in touch with the theme author as they are coded by him. Let us know if you have any more questions.

OK. I have checked the demo. It looks really nice and once again I love the work of the team but…it really looks like an update and not a new theme.
Moreover, you will start from scratch on theme forest counter…which is really not a good decision. Newspaper is stil marked as “new” and “trending” on theme forest. Why dont you surf on it ?
Have you done a case study on what the best seller do? X has released a totally new version of its theme with new plugins,…

Yo no uso el bigslider por motivo de mejorar la velocidad del home, tengo mi home muy limpio usando ajax y solo un pequeño slider de 3 noticias recientes. El módulo slider usa la imagen destacada de 700x 357 la cual es recortada automáticamente (en theme options activas esto en crop image).
El imsanity lo tengo en máximo de medidas 659×659 para los medios subidos directamente en post. y 1024×1024 para los subidos directamente en medios. De este modo todo queda recortado a medida del ancho del newspaper.
El regenerador hace mucho que no lo uso, si no mal recuerdo comienza y se va parejo de una en una y se lleva un par de segundos por imagen.
Inténtalo, si no te sale me avisas y por la noche lo podemos ver por skype (Y)

Take a look at the slider. There is a span-class slide-meta-cat and slide-meta-author. IMHO there is a top-padding or something else which is not right. Screenshot: http://www.myimg.de/?img=screenshot0894a.png

They probably should swap that to the top and the import demo content to the bottom, since the demo content really only useful for somebody with blank new website project, in my opinion 🙂
Purchased newspaper theme after seeing “Cafe” demo in demo stack. Had Envato Studio install ‘newspaper’ theme into wordpress. Installer tells me the “Cafe” demo is not provided in downloaded material. Is this correct, or are we missing something for the “Cafe” layout?

I have installed a test of newspaper on my localhost and am running php5.3.13 with GD2 installed, wp v4. I have set my Media settings to 100×65, 326×235 and 700×357. However, when I upload a 745×483 image multiple sizes are being created that do not match up with the sizes you detailed in your documentation and the size that ends up being used on a default article page is 700×453 rather than 700×357 like the demo. I can only guess that there is something wrong with my Media settings, can you please detail how the Media settings should be set up?

I am a big fan of your theme! And the following is NOT a bug of your theme, but rather WordPress. But with such an absolutely great theme, please please fix this bug for wordpress. As it throws a very bad light also on your theme (I first thought this is an issue with the theme, but now discovered its WP Core logic):

Uhh, this isnt even year 2000 webstandards but something around 1995. I still cant believe it. It even misses a back-link… As stated, this is not a problem of your theme, but of wordpress. But it also kills the great usability of your theme.
Yes there are JS Validation plugins like:

But this Plugin Ads so much overhead and degrades performance by a lot of Hooks and unnecessary backend functionality ( I looked at the source)
Yes, i could code this on my own. But this problem applies to all users of Newspaper. So coding this on my own and merging this with new uprades of your theme becomes a huge waste of time.
So please, please incorporate a fix in your theme directly (maybe using http://jqueryvalidation.org/ or directly using Jquery). For you this is only 20 Lines of Code. But this would improve so much(!!) the usability, as comments are one of the most important(!!) features of WordPress. If the guys at wordpress do 1995 Website Usability, please fix it fort them.
Note: You can also use this for advertising/feature list, as you have seen, they even provide plugins for this. having this right away in Newspaper is another great usp/benefit of the theme.
