I’m using a flex block/big grid flex. Can you tell me how I can make it show more than 6 posts and the rest of the posts in a category shows in page 2, page 3 etc?

We are having quite a problem with the webpage showing the post date and/or the last modified date. I’ve tried everything under the tag div composer, it never shows neither a date nor the modified date of any post, via the single post library templates or the flex bocks option… I am sure to have all the options correct under the theme panel options… Where should I look or what can I do to fix this? I am new to the theme and have three questions for starters. 🙂
1)
A can’t seem to figure it out how or where do I set page content width. I would like it to have 1200 px or 1400 px wide content section on main page and also on post sub-pages (landing pages of articles).
I tried to change width in settings in newspaper theme panel under LAYOUT SETTINGS -> template settings -> page template -> PAGE LAYOUT SIZE, but nothing changes in front end of main/home page after saving.
Do I need to change row-width in tagDiv composer manually or do I missing something?
2)
Can I edit prebuilt big grid flex elements to add more posts in it? For example I have big grid flex 5 element and I would like to add more of picture elements that lead to post pages.
3)
How can I add AD banner to post? So it could be in post content section between text content or under/above it?

I installed a Pre-designed Template from the tagDiv Cloud Library. I’m not sure which one I installed. I renamed it.
I have the following page on my site: https://www.wheredoitakethekids.com/categories/places/. I would like to display a custom field next to each “summary post.” Basically I want to display an address under each title.
I was assuming I needed to modify a “specific” page like td_block_big_grid_flex_3.php. When I click on the element to edit it, all I see is (row -> column -> Posts Loop).

I have changed it from ‘Single Related Posts’ element to a Flex block like you suggested, so I have the option to display randomly.
But now I have all the posts displaying at once! … I only want to display 4 posts and then users can use the pagination arrows to move to the next ones and so on. Is this not possible?…
Because if I change the limit post number to 4 it will only display 4 and not the 8 I have in total obviously

I was able to use the Theme panel to hide all dates.
This worked for the Block and Flex Block.
For the Flex Block, under layout, I didn’t realize I could scroll down the page for more options.
I’m not sure why TagDiv or WP don’t have scroll bars to indicate there’s more content off-screen.

Each block uses a specific thumb. For example, if you use Flex Block 1 you can choose the image size => https://i.imgur.com/1f6CXA9.png or you can set the height and width https://i.imgur.com/fsChM94.png or you can use Big grid flex https://i.imgur.com/b0z9MjN.png
If you want to have the image size from the media library you can use the inline single image element that takes over the size from the media library

We tested the PHP version 8 and we did not encounter such an error, nor have other users reported it (for example, I have the version of PHP 8.0.7)

About the error from flex block 4, do you have set reviews for posts? Also, have you checked for a plugin conflict?

There has been a critical error on this website.
I am using Big Grid Flex 1 on my home page and the title for the featured post appears at the bottom left of the block. Since visitors to the site may miss the title of the post how can I move the title and position to the top of this block? Is there any CSS code that I can apply to move the title from bottom to the top?

Hi kevinsikora, if you make the correct changes in theme files, then yes, you can display the custom fields, but the problem is that those flex elements will not work in a child theme. I think that you are referring to blocks and flex blocks, because the grids doesn’t have excerpt option, only title length.
Now on flex blocks it should display the first x words/letters from the post content if you do not have set a text in excerpt zone (when you set a text in excerpt box this is consider that need to be all display and the excerpt is no longer apply).

Can I copy the components and add them to a child theme? If so, where do I find the components that I can copy?
