Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to refresh the excerpt shown for articles in a grid (I’m using Flex Block 1).
When you first publish an article, the excerpt will show the content published in your article e.g. ‘123’, however, if you update the article’s content to ‘321’, this change doesn’t show in the excerpt of the grid. Instead, the grid will display the old content ‘123’ and not the updated one ‘321’.
I initially thought this was a caching issue, however after refreshing my cache (WP Super Cache) and browser cache, nothing changed.
Is it possible to refresh the article excerpt in a grid once the article is updated?

Inside the post/article for me is working correctly, the name of author how publish the post is display only if there is no guest author set in custom field (at least for me is working like this).
Now, about the blocks and flex blocks, those are custom elements and the author name from them have a different structure, the code for that part is set here wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_module.php => https://i.imgur.com/GrRjkiC.png and it need some custom changes to can display the guest author name on blocks.

The website already used the “custom field method” for guest authors and all the posts already have the guest-author custom field.
The problem is this:
– If i use the “single post author box” module or the “single post author” module sometimes they show the custom author (created with the custom filed) and sometimes the WordPress user that entered the post, depending on where I place it in the single post template.
– If i use the “Flex block” modules to show all the post in my homepage or in a post category template they always keep showing the name of the WordPress users that have entered the post.
This makes me think that the script works but the theme cannot always “read” this information.

Hi, on my home page I have a flex block1 with only 1 post showing. For mobile devices I use the mobile responsive with the tagdiv editor. Why does the flex block1 appear cropped and not responsive/resized?

Hi,
I have gone to the layout tab –> Article Image Section –> Image Size and changed my settings from medium-default-696x0px to Full-1920x0px. This hasn’t fixed the problem and appears to be for only the featured image of an article rather than the thumb placeholder image behind it.
The thumb placeholder still isn’t fitting into the flex block 1 box.

I’m not sure what happened, but I updated some plugins today, and deactivated others (Elementor and WordPressBakery). Now my home page only shows the following message instead of the content that was on there before:

Hi, I’m trying to get my thumb placeholder image to fit into flex block 1, however I’m having some trouble.
The image size is 1038×248 pixels, which I have tried to resize using the ‘scale image’ function in wordpress so that it is 400px wide (which I believe is the width of the flex block 1 grid box), however, the image still doesn’t fit, instead it gets more pixlated.
I feel like i’m making an obvious mistake here but I’m not sure what, and I’d appreciate some advice.

I do not know exactly which element it is, but if you edit the page with TagDiv Composer, then in the left side you will see the name of the element.
I think it is about a posts loops element.
The Posts Loops settings are divided into 4 tabs: General, Layout, Style, and CSS. The Posts loop is a special block and doesn’t have filtering options.
Also, one of the options for pagination of the Posts Loop has the option for normal numbered and the flex blocks do not have this option.
The Posts Loop is automatically filtering the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example on the category page there will be posted posts from that category).

I have the “Load More” pagination option for a Flex Box 1 element. When I click “Load More”, it shuffles a different set of articles that are already visible instead of populating new ones. How do I fix this?
When I try to override this file I can’t see any changes on my live template. Probably It’s the wrong file to work with. I had best result working on : /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_flex_1.php changing :

I created a mobile website with TagDiv Composer by selecting Mobile Page.
The desktop site has a different block layout to the mobile site.
The main page for desktops after the menu starts with Big Grid Full 3. Then two columns with Flex box 1
The mobile site starts with Flex block 1, then one more and one more.
The home page on desktops looks like this. With Big Grid Full block 3

Thanks, the problem is that the mobile plugin is very limited but the responsive version (which I would prefer) is not enough flexible.
1) The main content in my homepage is a row with three columns (1/4 + 1/2 + 1/4) and on mobile devices (responsive, without mobile plugin) I would like to show first the bigger central column (1/2) and then the other two. Is there a way to do it? (Like if in “Life News” demo site I’d want to show on mobile Cardi B photo-news before the Latest News section – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_life_news/ )
2) And is there a way to hide a block/segment just on mobile? I can’t find the right info in documentation and if I modify it (for instance the number of post shown) having selected the mobile icon, the desktop version changes too.
3) Is there a way (through the theme) to have a totally different page to show as mobile homepage alternative?

Ok Problem Solved,
there where some category restriction by id’s (-25,-68) in flex block responsive settings, that are apparently not compatible when the Category of flex block is set to “current category” (to be able to load the correct articles, via this template page)
do you confirm the theory?
