Hi. I am trying to set up a row with 3 columns – 1 and 3 columns being place to place widgets and middle column a little wider for posts. I added a row and set it for 3 columns, i added flex block 5 for the middle column and i am now wanting to add widgets for the other columns. Am I doing it right? Also how do I put frames around the widgets? I tried adding “most popular widget” but not sure how to place frame around it and then I want to add more widgets on the sides. Thank you

I have a Flex Block 2 at my home page (justretail.news) (https://snipboard.io/rSUqW4.jpg).
According to the block settings (https://snipboard.io/HdaVZv.jpg) it should show posts from all categories sorted by the number of views from the last 7 days.
I have the correspondent theme panel option enabled (https://snipboard.io/e5qBw1.jpg).
What is happening is that the post shown are not the most popular. Here you can check the associated data for the second post on the list (https://snipboard.io/jTyV9B.jpg). But there are other with more views. One from today, 3th sep (https://snipboard.io/XxGdpY.jpg) and other from yesterday (https://snipboard.io/K1WZji.jpg). As you can see at the latest screenshot, one of them is associated with just one category and the other with two of them; none of them is shown on the list in the second place.
So, could you tell me if either I am missing something or I have misunderstook the way this feature sort the most popular posts?

4. The latest articles option and related posts come from WordPress not from Newspaper Theme. You can disable it from here as you can see: https://www.screencast.com/t/uzXRgXTiHlH
In order to recreate that you will be able to modify it you will have to remove as shown above, add a ROW in the place where the latest article was. Edit the ROW Layout and divide it into 3. Deactivated all the plugins except tagDiv, not using a child theme, cleared the cache… Still not serving the right size. I even tried a bunch of different element types. Currently using Big Grid 2. Tried nearly all the Flex options and several other Grid options. Even then, seeing wrong sized thumbnails.

I have a problem with Flexblock 1 in the “nieuws en achtergrond” row on this page:

In the Flexblock 1 element I have set the following:
Limit post number = 5
filter = nieuws
(number of “nieuws’ category items I have = 7
sort order = latest
Now,
1. it only shows 2 items from the “nieuws” category, not 5.
2. Those two items are the oldest, not the newest. And when I select “oldest”, it show the latest items (with the most recent item showing last in the row).
If I chose a different category, same problems.
What am I doing wrong here?

for problem 1, the image width that you are pointing to is 50% by default already. I decided to delete the original big grid flex 6 and row. Then added a new row and big grid flex 6 to make sure I didn’t change any of the default settings by accident. Next, all I did was made the image height 60% for both module categories 1 and 2. The results are the problem of the extra unwanted black spacing under the middle image is still there when the image is 1200 x 800. Is this something that needs to be fixed in the next theme update? or am I still doing something wrong?
for problem 2, if the background for the row is made black instead of the element as you are suggesting, there is then the default black padding of the row itself as seen in this image row background black.PNG on dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ozmmkhywweoiqz5/AADG_LWlcC0zrEbrUOLVGF31a?dl=0). I tried to make the padding 0 in the CSS of the row, but that had no effect. So how do I fix this problem as well?
How can you change the anchor texts for big grid and flex block elements?
They are showing as trivial anchor text and repeats itself?

The theme is using thumbs to make the images to feed better in blocks and grids, but for a better control over the featured image size, you can use flex blocks and flex grids, on these you can choose the image size you like and is fit the best -> https://i.imgur.com/wGcnW9h.png

You can only have 1 posts loop on 1 page. Instead of using posts loop we recommend you to use Flex Blocks which are very customizable and you can make them look like a post loop.

to remove these element from pages/homepage you can do it in two ways:

I am having a two problems with Big Grid Flex 6 that I can’t seem to solve.
Problem 1:
The majority of the images on my site are 1200 x 800px and a few are not, but when an image that is 1200 x 800px is in the middle (module category 2 of Big Grid flex 6), the grid becomes uneven to the other 4 images and part of the black background shows at the of the middle images, but when another size image is in the middle all the images are leveled (dropbox example images linked below). As I stated before the majority of the images on my site are 1200 x 800px so how do I fix this problem without having the change the size of all of them?
Problem 2:
On mobile, the background of the Big Grid Flex 6 doesn’t stretch the full width of the screen, how do I fix this so that it does? I also tried making the row itself background black, but the padding of the row also becomes black so I don’t think that is the correct solution. (dropbox example images linked below)

If you are referring to categories that are displaying on the homepage modules, then most of theme can be edited using tagdiv Composer -> https://tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-page-builder-basics/ -> https://i.imgur.com/B4YzHD4.png usually these elements are flex blocks and flex grids.
