Wohooo!!!

Finally found a solution. It was simple but strange. Thought it would be interesting for everyone to know. The Header Manager button doesn’t appear unless and until you install the tagDiv Cloud Library.

This is really strange as the new features forcefully demand to install Cloud Library.

Anyway, Cheers !!!

Hi there,

Just switching to Newspaper, but have used your other themes for a long time.

Trying to get everything setup, but when I try to get a single post template from cloud library I get the – invalid reply at server endpoint – message, so I can’t do a lot.

I was able to get a header template when going through the header manager fine, but if I don’t go through that I always get the error.

Hello,

In the new header manager, the sticky header can be handled separately than the normal header. It can have totally different content. Please select the sticky header using the header manager options:

Thank you!

Hello,

You need to have the latest theme version (9.5) and have the cloud library plugin active. Then, you can use the header manager like so: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/

Thank you!

Hi,

If you want to remove that grey border, you need to use the code below and place it in Theme panel -> Custom CSS area.

The code is here ->

.td-header-gradient:before{
display:none;
}

Also, if you want to create your own header, you need to use the Header Builder and begin to create it according to the following documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the message!

The header builder/manager requires the cloud library plugin to be active. If this plugin is not active there will be no header builder elements in the composer or header manager button option in the composer
http://prntscr.com/mkjn3vhttp://prntscr.com/mkjno1http://prntscr.com/mkjnuh

With these new options you can design/import and manage header templates.

I am new to this theme and the builder. I have my site set up pretty well but I noticed that when I access the home page on an iPhone the default header from the template shows up. On all o the other pages my own header shows up. I can’t figure out where to set the mobile header for the front page. If I use the header manager in the builder it shows the page correctly, but on the phone it always shows the default header. I’ve used both chrome and safari and cleared the cache.

Hi,

When importing a header i get the error:

“One of the images failed to upload.”

I assume its something to do with permissions, can you give me a run down?

Hi,

I don’t know how to do that. I tryed modifing the file “page-pagebuilder-empty.php” replacing the code you sent me, but it’s not working properly.

Moreover, I’m still not seeing the orange button “Header manager”.

Can you explain it to me in a easier way beeing more explicit?

Thank you!

Hi,

Now, in the latest theme update, we have introduced a header builder which allows you to create your own logo with your desired size. Check here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

In the new header manager the desktop menu is different from the mobile menu. Please make sure you select the mobile menu like so: https://www.screencast.com/t/at1Fqnhumr
and add your content to the mobile header as well.

Thank you!

Well, I managed to do it with CSS.

Btw, I didn’t find a way to use this Header Manager for the existing header.

Hi,

The empty page template is still appearing. Moreover, when using TagDiv Composer I don’t see the Header manager.

The theme is updated to 9.5 and I deleted the composer plugin and reinstalled again. Maybe the update was not well done?

I have imported the header, I added the logo. However, it is not possible to hide the text. Despite deleting the subtitles and setting the hide option, it still appears on the page.

1. I open “Global Header Cloud Template – Nomad” from Cloud Templates. Edit Template in TagDiv Composer
2. I choose “Header Manager”. I choose “Main Menu Sticky”. I see enabled it.. Save the template
3. Nothing happen..
4. I repeat editing.. I see “Main Menu” is enabled.. It didn’t save my choose.

Am I missing something?

The empty page template was removed in 9.5, so it is not available anymore in the page attributes template selection. Now you can choose a no header within the header manager
http://prntscr.com/ml0uwv
A similar setting will be available for the footer.

In your case the empty page template is still appearing?

Pages that used this empty template should be switched to the page default template I believe. Let us know.

When the cloud plugin is active, you can import/design cloud templates (for posts, categories, authors, tag) also block designs, sections etc and use them.

It will also provide additional elements in the composer such as the loop elements, the new header builder elements, header manager. Also the option for post auto-loading.

Without it none of the above can be accessed.

Hello!

How can you set a horizontal header image on the very the top of the website? It needs to be covering a part of the logo like this:

I tried different header settings in the admin panel, but the background image is not shown (HEADER STYLE is set to “Style 8”, and TOP BAR LAYOUT is set to “Style 4”):

I also tried this custom CSS, but it doesn’t take effect:

body {
  background: url(image.png) repeat-x top center;
}

Newspaper theme version is 9.5. Header Manager is enabled.

Can you please advise?

Thank you,
Alexander

This is my website:

Those are the header settings in the admin panel, if relevant:

Hi,

There will be more documentation added as soon as possible. Basically all that is needed is to have the cloud library plugin active.
Then there will be header builder elements in the tagDiv composer
http://prntscr.com/mkgsar
With the header manager you can import/manage your header templates
http://prntscr.com/mkgsjp

If you have more questions let us know.

Thanks
