I am seeing dozens of these errors every hour for past couple of weeks on my site since I migrated the theme to Newspaper. Any idea what’s happening? They all refer to “wp-content/themes/Newspaper/index.php on line 6\n”

How to customize the advertisement area for a specific category? - topic

I am trying to figure out how to customize placing different ads on top of Category pages. For example, for one of my categories, I need to place a specific static banner ad at the top of the category page (in the header area).

In the “Ads > Header ad” I would really like to use PHP so I can easily include a PHP conditional code to display the special ad on that category, but that area does not allow PHP code… so is there any other way to edit and include a conditional for that category to display a banner ad?

My logo shows on laptop and desktop devices in the header on the home page. But when I view it on a mobile device, it still shows the sample “Lifestyle Magazine” logo that came with the theme. How can I change that? Thanks so much.

Alternative analytics for AMP – Matomo - topic

Hi,
I have a problem with Newspaper AMP (using a Tagdiv Theme).
I’ve added a proper google analytic code for AMP and it is working fine.
But I’ve also would like to analyze traffic using different solution (Matomo/Piwik).
The problem is, that I have no idea how to embed trafic code (pixel) to AMP pages.

This is how the code should look like (I’ve removed page name that it will not interfere with my analytics)

Copying it into GA window broke GA code.

Seems that the shop page and the product page are empty from the header down. You could check if there are enough resources as a first step

Thank you, but I don’t understand why it would be erased if I update the Newspaper them? I don’t think I ever had this problem before when I updated a theme… if it truly is removed, then it’s best for me to do a header.php in a Child theme.

Congratulations on a fantastic theme. I have one question. Is it possible when I use a background image on a page or category that the top header and the footer does not cut off either side of the content section and continues to the end of the screen like it does without a background image?

Hi,

You can do that manually, please go in Appearance>Editor and select Theme Header, you can put your code there, but be notice when you’ll update the theme you need to do this again.

Here is talking about a header menu from our theme. So, why did you used one from our header styles which have this style which you want, like header style 10, for example?
You have to add your ad code for header ads, according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-ads-adsense/
