Hello, I really want to be able to use my own retina logo on the header bar. I try everything to change and still not been able to. Can you please provide direction on how to change it?
Thank you.
I am trying to change logo in sticky header for Free News design, but it is not possible to click on logo to change svg. Is there another way to change the logo?
I managed to select column (and row), but not the element inside, which is logo.
Sticky header appears when you scroll down a bit in page…

Hi,
If you are referring to this background image https://prnt.sc/ShxazSdiOuDQ, then you need to go to the theme panel > background and mobile menu/search – https://prnt.sc/w6d5Ch6pWxtZ, set a different image or remove it.
The sign in option can be disabled from the theme panel > Header > sign in/join – https://prnt.sc/H7_B3UZyVMM_ jus disable those options save the settings and also go to Dashboard > Serrings > General and disable the membership option – https://prnt.sc/2F4Fn-hpn-kD
Hi,
The menu can be created under Dashboard> Appearance> Menu https://prnt.sc/pqei0GsTurlp
To assign it on a header, you need to edit that cloud header with tagDiv Composer, then select the mobile viewport after that you have 2 elements that can be used for the mobile menu: https://prnt.sc/eJcQc0R0zpCc
– Mobile horizontal menu (already used on this demo) https://prnt.sc/UN1q8xVNZRll
– Mobile menu element – https://prnt.sc/D12KGEObTLon
Thank you!
Hi,
The demo you’re using includes two headers: one for when the theme is transparent, and another for when it is not.
The non-transparent header is set as the global default. For any pages or templates where you want to use the transparent header, you’ll need to edit them with tagDiv Composer. Open the Manager, go to the Header section, and change it to “Header Template – Trucking.” Once you click on this option and it turns green, it means the header has been individually assigned to that specific page or template – https://prnt.sc/uOTTcXqc9AL7
Thank you!
Hello,
We want to create a menu for the mobile version of our website, a menu that appears without expanding, similar to many websites where you tap the menu to access its contents. This saves space in the website header when accessed from a mobile device—not an iPad or tablet, but a smartphone.
Is there a way to define a specific mobile header that can be assigned to the mobile version of the website using Cloud Templates?
Thanks in advance for your attention
Regards,
Hello,
How can we make the header transparent in the Trucking Services theme? If you look at the homepage, the header image appears behind even the menus, but on the other page shown, the image is cut off and the menu is not transparent.
We have tried many options within the header of the specific page, but we haven’t been able to achieve the desired result.
These are the example pages that illustrate our question:
Page we want to achieve: https://discernin.com
Page that doesn’t show a transparent header and the image is cut off: https://discernin.com/research/
Thank you in advance for your attention.
Regards,
Hi,
The zones refer to the header/content/footer zone.
Most of the time, the problem is from a shortcode that is not compatible with our theme; therefore, after you set it with tagDiv Composer and save the page, the next time you try to edit it, you’ll get that error. The simplest and fastest way to resolve it is to use a page/template revision – https://wordpress.com/support/page-post-revisions/ (in this case will be a post template revision).
I hope this will help you!
Thanks for the assistance. I added the row to the desktop header and also to the mobile view, and now it is appearing everywhere so thanks for that suggestion. Regarding there not being a default template for pages, perhaps there should be. I don’t really see a downside to that.
Hi,
There is no default template for pages. Each one can be created, duplicated, and customized using tagDiv Composer as you prefer.
For pages, you’ll need to edit them individually with tagDiv Composer and add the row containing the ad. You can easily copy this row by right-clicking on it, then paste it into each page using tagDiv Composer.
Regarding the header, the desktop header is different from the mobile header. Therefore, if you set something on the desktop header and want it to appear on mobile as well, you’ll need to switch to the mobile viewport in tagDiv Composer and add the element in the header section: https://i.imgur.com/Vc8V7kP.png
Thank you!
I am using Newspaper theme with the Default Pro layout. In my Cloud Templates, I have a “Header Template – Default PRO” and a “Single Post Template – Default PRO”. Under Page templates, there is a “Homepage – Default PRO” but no single Page template in my Cloud Templates. In my Single Post Template, I added a row to the top of the page that will show ads below the navigation and above the post content. I would like to do the same to all my existing pages, but I do not have a pages template that I can edit. Right now, my pages look exactly like my posts, with the same layout, navigation, sidebar, and footer, however they do not contain the ad row that my posts have. How can I add this to all existing pages? Alternatively, is there a way to add a row to the “Header Template – Default PRO” under the logo and navigation part that collapses in mobile? I tried adding a new row to the bottom of the header template under the navigation, but when the navigation switches to mobile menu, the row disappears.
Hello tagDiv Support,
We are building a site with the Newspaper theme. We currently have two home pages in WordPress:
– “Home” (front page)
– “Home test”
We changed theme colors via the tagDiv Theme Panel (accent, header text, menus, posts/pages colors). These changes appear on “Home test”, but they do NOT reflect on “Home”, which still shows the old default colors.
We also changed the site logo via the Theme Panel. The logo change does not show anywhere (neither on “Home” nor on “Home test”).
Site: https://datronbilisim.com
Demo/base layout: Dental Studio (prebuilt website)
Can you advise why Theme Panel changes (colors and logo) are not applying to “Home”? Do we need to clear theme cache, assign a specific Theme Style, or copy settings between home pages?
Thank you.
Hi,
The system status is OK. What you should do is resolve the issue with the image that was set to load in the cloud header menu as a background image. The image has been deleted from the media library, but it is still linked to some rows, which can cause loading speed issues.
Please follow my example: edit the homepage, select the header menu row, and check the CSS tab. Where the background image is set, click “Remove,” then save your changes – https://prnt.sc/iZ-izfb-0jyd
Hi,
For this, I will need a link to the website to check it out, but here are the places where that text can come from:
– theme panel > header > logo & favicon – https://i.imgur.com/kE9CYZH.png another situation, if it is a cloud header, edit the header with tagDiv Composer, select the logo, and look for the logo text.
Hi Scott,
I understand. The issue is that the update from Nesaper 12.7.4 to 12.7.5 does not include any changes that should affect the website’s speed.
What I recommend is addressing the problem with the image that has been set as a background on the site but cannot be found: https://i.imgur.com/xWXB1KQ.png
It appears this image may be used as a background for the header menu—likely on the main header, sticky header, and possibly the mobile header as well.
Hi guys,
I have a strange problem: when I am browsing my website on mobile, when a page is loading, NEWS12PAPER is displayed for a fraction of a second before my logo is displayed. I configured my logo in theme settings (header for desktop and mobile) and in tagdiv composer.
How can I prevent NEWS12PAPER logo to be displayed when a page is loading?
My site https://www.misioni-rijeka.hr/
I updated to Version: 12.7.5, then I opened the page and everything opened in a mess.
The top menu does not exist at all and the entire header logo has been removed.
I uninstalled some plugins and re-activated them, but the problem is the same.
My PHP Versions ist 8.3
Hello Support,
I am contacting you because I am running into what looks like a compatibility or translation-handling issue between WPML and the Newspaper theme by tagDiv.
My setup is:
-
WordPress
Newspaper theme (Today News PRO demo/import)
tagDiv Composer / Cloud Library
WPML
Secondary language: German (/de)
Default language: English
What I am trying to achieve is straightforward:
I want to have an English footer on the English site and a German footer on the German site. The footer content was created with the tagDiv Composer as a footer template / Cloud Template.
The issue is that I cannot create or manage the translation workflow for these Cloud Templates correctly, and as a result the German footer keeps showing English text for posts.
Here is what I observed:
In WPML → Settings → Post Types Translation, I set the Cloud Template post type to:
“Translatable – use translation if available or fallback to default language”
However, in the Cloud Templates area in the WordPress backend, I do not see the WPML translation controls I would expect, such as the language columns or the “+” translation icon for German.
Because of that, I cannot create a proper German translation of the footer template through WPML.
I also checked WPML String Translation and Translation Dashboard / Other texts (Strings), but the footer text does not appear there.
The footer text is not coming from a normal theme option or a menu string. It is content inside a tagDiv footer block created in the tagDiv Composer.
I tried creating a copied/duplicated footer and also a copied single post template as a workaround, but that led to additional problems:
-
changes in the copied version affected the English version as well, or vice versa
at some points, post formatting broke for both languages
I had to manually restore several pages/templates in tagDiv Composer
some templates disappeared or behaved inconsistently in the backend, even though the frontend still partially worked
Another related symptom:
In English posts, I can select the template “Single Template – Today News PRO”.
In German posts, I only see “Default”, not the same Single Template option.
This makes me think WPML may not be recognizing or linking the tagDiv Cloud Templates correctly for the secondary language.
At one point, setting Cloud Templates to a stricter translation mode caused header/footer/template behavior to break more severely, so I reverted to the fallback setting above.
At the moment, the frontend is mostly restored, but one core problem remains:
the German version — all posts — of the site still displays the English footer text, and I have no reliable WPML-based way to translate the footer Cloud Template.
From my perspective, the main issue is:
WPML seems not to expose the translation UI for tagDiv Cloud Templates in this setup, and the footer content is also not available through String Translation.
Could you please help me with the following:
-
Is this a known compatibility issue with Newspaper/tagDiv Cloud Templates?
Should WPML show translation icons / language columns for these Cloud Templates in the backend?
Is there a recommended WPML workflow for translating tagDiv footer templates created with tagDiv Composer?
Why would the English Single Template be selectable in English posts, but only “Default” appear in German posts?
Is there any additional configuration, compatibility plugin, or troubleshooting step required so WPML recognizes these Cloud Templates properly?
I can provide screenshots of:
WPML Post Type Translation settings, the Cloud Templates backend screen where no translation icons appear and
the footer output on the German frontend

PS here’s the response by WPML support:
Hello there,
Thank you for contacting WPML support. I’d be happy to assist you on this issue.
According to the documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/using-theme-translations-together-wpml/, the templates should display “+” signs. However, it appears that the plugin layout has changed.
Could you please reach out to their support team to check if there’s a way to view the template list as shown in the documentation?
We can also review this from our side and report it to our compatibility team, but contacting them directly would likely be the fastest solution for you.
Regarding the templates, lets translate the templates first and check it further.
Let me know there feedback on it.
Thanks
Hi,
This can be done by using the WPML shortcode with tagDiv Composer in the cloud header, add the shortcode element where you want to display the language switcher and set the shortcode in it.
We are using Newspaper 12.7.5 with td-cloud-library 3.9.4 and WPML. We need a native language switcher element in the header Cloud Template builder, but tdb_header_language does not exist in our shortcodes/header/ directory and does not appear in the editor element list.
Available header shortcodes in our installation: tdb_header_categories, tdb_header_date, tdb_header_logo, tdb_header_mega_menu, tdb_header_menu, tdb_header_menu_favorites, tdb_header_search, tdb_header_user, tdb_header_weather.
Questions:
Is tdb_header_language available in a newer version of Newspaper or td-cloud-library?
Is there a dedicated WPML + tagDiv integration plugin that adds this element?
Is there an official recommended approach to integrate WPML language switcher natively in the header Cloud Template builder?
Hi,
To replace this image https://prnt.sc/2QvSDbbPo7KE, just edit the page with tagDiv Composer, select the element, and add the image https://prnt.sc/f1uU5YhhWm87 https://prnt.sc/uDOSt52VFLaB (when you save, do not select the header, content, or footer to make sure that you save all zones.
Now this section “subscribe to newsletter” is not related to the theme is a custom code set with code snippets – https://prnt.sc/TMIfcHrUB9Qx
Hi Vladimir,
I’m glad that you managed to resolve most of the situations.
Now related to the header, please check if you have more cloud header templates – https://i.imgur.com/IaJw4yh.png if you have more than one, like in my screenhost, then you have one assigned as an individual on the homepage (https://i.imgur.com/YhbdTFW.png), and the other is set as global on the site.
I have uploaded a Single Image of size 1920×825 px. But it is not occupying the full Header across screen. Please help.

Hi Support Team,
Hope you’re doing well.
I’m reaching out regarding an accessibility issue identified on our website. According to Google PageSpeed Insights, our pages are currently showing the error: “Document does not have a main landmark.”
It appears that the theme does not include a <main> HTML landmark wrapping the primary content.
This is important for:
Accessibility (screen readers and semantic structure)
Improved PageSpeed / Lighthouse scores
Better overall HTML structure
We request your help in implementing this correctly across the theme.
What needs to be done:
Add a <main> tag wrapping the primary content area (typically where the article/page content is rendered)
Ensure only one <main> tag exists per page
Keep <header>, <nav>, and <footer> outside the <main> section
It would be ideal if this fix is applied at the theme level (e.g., in single.php, page.php, or relevant template files) so it reflects across all pages.
Please let me know if you need access or any additional details from our end.
Looking forward to your support on this.
My newspaper theme version is 12.7.4
Hello tagDiv support team,
I am using the Newspaper theme (latest version) and experiencing an issue with the live search (header search / instant search / ajax search).
Problem description:
When users type “niger” (for example, searching for the word “Niger” as in the country Niger or the Niger River), the live search immediately starts showing results that contain “Nigeria” (the neighboring country).
This happens because the search appears to use partial substring matching, where “niger” is contained within “Nigeria”. As a result, Nigeria-related posts/pages appear in the dropdown even though the user has only typed 5 letters and likely intends the shorter, different term.
This creates confusion for visitors, especially on websites that cover African geography, news, travel, or similar topics where both “Niger” and “Nigeria” are relevant but distinct.
Examples:
Typing: niger → shows posts about Nigeria
Expected behavior (in my opinion): show only exact or closer matches first, or at least prioritize exact prefix matches (niger*) over substring matches inside longer words.
Questions / feature request:
Is there any setting in Theme Panel → Post Settings / Search Settings / General / Performance to change the live search behavior from substring/contains to starts-with / prefix matching?
If not, can this be customized via a code snippet (e.g., modifying the AJAX search query with a filter/hook)?
Or is there a way to increase the minimum characters required before live search triggers (to reduce false positives on short inputs)?
Would it be possible in a future update to add an option for stricter matching in live search?
I would greatly appreciate any guidance, workaround, or confirmation if this is expected behavior or a possible improvement.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Siby Xavier
