You can try to edit the header.php file and add the strings of text using div element if you know basic html + css.

Full width header logos can be achieved with the theme. Please note that not all header styles have a limit for the header logo (header styles 9, 10 and 11 do not have a required logo image size)

I am trying to get a transparent header over my header image on my homepage, “Newspaper; Travel Guide” theme. I have worked out how to get a transparent header (with colours) (no im not from USA and spell colours weird) but it leaves a big ugly gap between my header image and the top of the page (above the Main Menu). The transparency works when I scroll down the page and the Main Menu changes, but until then its just an ugly colour and big gap.
Any ideas how to fix?

It looks like only a full-width background image on the home page is supported today. Are there any plans to add full-width design? We are evaluating theme options that do support it. We like the theme but truly want full-width header images at a minimum on home page, category headers and general pages. Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide.
1) Logging in via https://www.bizcatalyst360.com/wp-login.php works, however, the administrator’s name does not appear in the theme header (only “Sign In / Join” appears).
2) Using the ajax login (off home page) works. After login, the administrator can surf to wp-admin successfully.
3) WP Super Cache is in use – Clearing cache does not resolve the issue.
4) Disabling all plugins (Except js_composer – Required by the theme) does not resolve the issue

OK, I understand that redirecting the woocommerce 404 to a normal wordpress page is not a good practice (as there will be wrong header and this will result in negative SEO), as well as creating unnecessary server request. I hope you will give the most optimized solution.

I’m testing out the great background ad function. Following the tutorial and all dandy. Except I can’t seem to graps where to, or how, to control margins on the header in the top.
I’d like top part of my background image to be visible :

If by sliver you mean that there is a flash with the previous color, that may happen in some cases where the loading of the website takes a few moments.
In that case you can try and make the modification to the header style background color directly in the theme stylesheet

Unfortunately there is no setting as the top menu was never intended to show up on mobiles. It can be activated though with a css code. Please add this code in the theme panel-> custom css box:

I have started experimenting with moving to the Gadgets template for my site. However I have encountered an issue where the Main Menu is overlapping the content on standard pages (like the homepage) that uses the default page template. If I change the template to for example “standard template + heading” the issue goes away. However I do not want to have a header (that says “Home”) on the top of my frontpage.
It is like the Main menu gets floated over the content. And that the content starts at the top of the page with the Main menu placed on top of it. Maybe a fixed position issue somehow?
What can be done about this? The issue doesn´t seem to be present at the demo page (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_gadgets/). However I have a hunch it might have something to do with the fact that the top pictures are aligned directly with the menu (as seen in the demo). I.e there is no space (padding) between the menu and the beginning of the actual content.
Hope you understand what I mean. Can´t send you a link unfortanely since the test-site is only backend.

Hi Bogdan, you appear to be incorrect as I was able to figure it out with a bit of custom CSS. Perhaps you misunderstood my question?
By using the code below I am able to use the homepage post in a full-width layout without it forcing a boxed layout.
