Thanks for your response, but, I don’t want to reduce the number of posts on my homepage instead want to reduce the length of each post allowed to be shown on the homepage. I mean instead of showing the whole content of the post on the homepage I just wanted to show only some part of it(Title and summary). Moreover, In reading settings, I even tried selecting “summary” instead of “full text”, but this seems to have no change because both of these options are displaying the same layout of articles on the homepage.

How can I have the author and date appear on a post when the posts are listed on the homepage? (on individual posts it works fine) At the moment, the author name appears (with no “by”, just the name), but no date. How can I have the “by …” and the date appear?

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding, you are referring to the mobile page.
First, you need to change the mobile page from Homepage/Pages to “No mobile page”, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/JAK83XBAphN and also for Templates you need to set on “No mobile template”, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/lkpRKtrzy4N .
After these settings, you can remove the mobile templates and mobile pages.
To remove the mobile pages you need to go in WordPress -> Pages -> select the filter SELECT ALL TYPE on Mobile and apply filter => https://www.screencast.com/t/cdcpsi3AnsSl, and to delete the mobile templates go in Cloud Templates -> select the filter SELECT ALL TYPE on Mobile and apply filter => https://www.screencast.com/t/vJaLJ8SKer0.

If you want to have a different footer on the homepage and another for the posts, you can import where you want, for example, I have one footer on the homepage and another for posts => https://www.screencast.com/t/u9RdatuQHmEh.
This isn’t a bug. If the footer is set Global the change will apply for all the pages and posts. You can set the footer Global in Manager (Website Manager) => https://www.screencast.com/t/nTvSwAzcEyS1, or in Theme Panel -> Footer => https://www.screencast.com/t/ouw1xsJg.

1. I see that now you are using the responsive version of the theme, therefore the layout from homepage will be display on mobile. If this doesn’t have any “Latest posts” then those will not be add on responsive version (this situation is use only for mobile theme plugin when the page content need to be set in the mobile editor).

3. Normal the pagination should not take more then 1-2s, depending on your website optimization.
4. For this you need to use some plugins for image optimize, for example you can use EWWW Image Optimizer plugin.

On homepage unfortunately there are no workarounds to have some sort of predefined template. There are only 2 options. Blog roll or a page. You are now using a page.

How can I just show some part of my news article on the home page instead of showing the whole article. Currently, There are many articles listed on my website(www.spacestories.news), all of these articles are listed in full length on the HomePage. I wanted my home page to contain only a small portion of all the articles and when I click on it then the whole article will appear.

But not on the homepage. Could you tell me how to make homepage same as Category page(I’ve created Category page using Theme Panel not a pre-built template).

I’ve checked my Yoast SEO settings and it seems fine, so I don’t know what the problem is.

When I view my website on mobile device, the menu button on header is not working (unclickable) but I can click search button. The prolem only on homepage that show first, not in a post page.

I am facing a problem with the Mobile Pages.
A couple of months ago I set up the mobile pages for some of the pages of my site (the posts, the categories, the homepage, etc..); after a while, I decided to not use the mobile pages anymore and return to responsive version (desktop and phone), while using the Mobile Theme to render my AMP pages.
Since that, I cannot access most of the pages (including posts) from my phone, only from desktop.
Sometimes, there is no response: if I try to reach a link, the browser loads a blank page.
Sometimes, it loads a a critical error message, but without telling what this error is. The browser console says it is a 500 error.

Already did the usual routine (deactivating the plugins, checking the server criteria for Newpaper theme, etc..).
What may be causing this situation?

In Widget Panel, the only option is to put the Advanced Ads widget in “Newspaper default”.
But impossible to define a specific emplacement in the theme.
So I want to know how to use Advanced Ads widget with this kind of theme ?
I want to place Advanced Ads widget in different places : homepage, article, etc.

I am new to this “site making thing,” and I have some issues which I cannot resolve. Please Help :-). I put some posts out, and everything seems to be working fine. However, not anymore.
1. Some images won’t show anymore on the homepage, although being linked with a category.
2. My tag div composer won’t show anymore on my homepage, but it is showing on other pages (actually the whole wp menu)
3. My category pages are empty, although I have allocated all my posts to several categories.
Until a few days back, everything seemed to be working fine. I have the feeling it might have to do with purging my cache. I am using WP-Optimize 3.1.6 for that. What is the best way to approach this?
I have a back-up of 21-12. But I’d rather continue working on this ‘version’ to determine the real issue.
I hope you guys/girls can help me out.
