First it loads pretty good on our mobile devices but still slow, so the images appear but they take a long time to load. Also you can test this but be carefull on cache ! Using Google Chrome, right click on your homepage and Inspect, go to the Network tab and refresh: https://www.screencast.com/t/qviZRP7b As you can see almost the entire website loads from the cache but when it doesn’t you will see some long waiting time from the host.

The mobile version is look like that because you have the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

Since Newspaper v9.7.4 you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
So in order to have the same layout you can disable the mobile theme plugin or set the homepage on responsive version.

For me your website look normal, I think that the problem is that you want you have a static page set as homepage, now you have set the latest posts blog.

Mobile.
I will try to customize mobile version with add new elemnts and then hide that elements for destkop version.

They still show up on mobile homepage.

Ok, I figured it out.
I removed the logo from the Theme panel Header > Logo and Retina Logo. Flushed the cache. Then went to the homepage, edited with TD Composer, clicked on the logo there and removed both versions within TD composer. Flushed the cache. Then added logos back under the Theme Panel. Then error resolved.
What a mess – hope they fix that!
Also, be sure there is no text logo or description in the theme panel, otherwise your graphical logo won’t appear (a bug?).
The gadget theme homepage the latest block down down at the page when i press all it does not show the images of the news.

I haven’t created any separate page for homepage where i can use td composer. Its default latest posts homepage. Please cast an eye on at https://www.jsbjm.org
Here you can see latest posts (10 posts) thereafter pagination starts. How can i set pagination as prev/next here as no tdcomposer can be used here.
One more thing i want ask.. How can i set custom url link for logo.

If you’ve changed the subfooter settings from theme panel – Footer – Sub Footer and you do not see them on your website that means that you’re using a footer page which is fully editable with tagDiv Composer or you have cache on your website / browser. Try pressing SHIFT + CTRL + R while you’re on your homepage and see if this will work.

Thank you – that fixed it. Just another note, I noticed since this update, when clicking author profiles, it take readers to the homepage instead of their list of articles. Not sure if these two things are related?

On the homepage of website schoonmaakjournaal.nl we use Flex Block 1. On the other pages we use Block 11. That way we can eliminate the meta data under the posts, that we do want to see on the other pages. No problem there.
But now we want to add a post in a sidebar on the other pages and all posts too. But in that sidebar we do not want to show the meta data, just like it set for the homepage, where this particular post will be visible too.
However, there is no Flex Block widget, so we need to use another one, like Block 1. But in the theme panel you can only choose to not have the date meta info on all blocks, so they also disappear on Block 11, where we want to show the date.
How can I solve this? Is there a way to add Flex Block 1 to a widget, or is there some custom code we can use to not show the date meta information on Block 1?

I have particular issue with PageSpeed in regards to TFFB response. I am currently using HomePage template Lifenews Pro.
I tried using multiple optimization techniques including Coudflare, but not much change observed. I have even tested with single page (no image) still issues with response time.

the homepage keeps showing under my articles/posts and I’m not sure how to disable it.
