Those are actually buttons in the page content, on other pages they will not appear, only in the homepage – http://prntscr.com/m4d2mp
If you want to modify or remove them, edit the homepage with the tagDiv composer and do so.

Or maybe try and install the classic editor plugin and try to restore it again. Or copy the content of the homepage and paste it in a new page, then set it as homepage if it works properly.
So I removed Jetpack from my site as it was slowing everything down. It has resulted in some of my images in being resized in Tagdiv blocks on my homepage. Is there something I can do in Newspaper panel to resize them correctly?

In order to achieve that please open the homepage with TagDiv Composer, click on the firs element of page, go in css section and set “-48” margin top https://www.screencast.com/t/6asRevn0ISz

From what I can see there is no sidebar in the homepage at the moment. In terms of ads I see one in the header and one in the middle of the page – http://prntscr.com/m40oqr
What exactly do you mean by enabling sidebars? Ads can be displayed in sidebars by placing ad box widgets, the ad codes can be entered in Theme panel->Ads.
If they do not appear maybe the ad codes are not valid, check with the ad provider for installation instructions.

Hello everyone,
I really don’t know what happened to my theme, but it seems really broken. I tried a lot of things, even installed wordpress and the newspaper theme totally fresh again and recovered only my posts, the post meta and the common wordpress option data.
I thought it could be something like the icon font issues some people had. So I tried to adjust my htaccess and allowed loading images from all sources and so on. Didn’t make a change.
Then I thought it could be an issue with the plugin Autoptimize. I checked the boxes for optimizing JS, CSS and HTML. But I couldn’t reproduce it on an other website of mine. But if I deactivate the plugin, my website gets totally broken and loses all of it’s design. So maybe it has something to do with it?

So I hope somebody have a glue what I could do to solve my problem. Or is there a way I can do a fresh install, get my posts back with some metas like seo and also not getting back the data, that seems to generate this issue?

I am building a site using the Newspaper template and I’m trying to utilize one of the Category Templates from the Cloud library. For some reason when I view the category template all of the block elements from my homepage design appear on the page below the template content. I cannot figure out what is causing this issue. Can anyone help?

In order to have only the last post on homepage please create a new page set the page template on default template, open with td composer , drag a block ( for example block 23 ) and set the limit post number -> https://www.screencast.com/t/aQaik7an

The option doesn’t work well if you use Classic Editor plugin. You’ll need to set Homepage Latest Articles template, update the page and then you will be able to see the settings.
Or you can disable Classic Editor plugin until you set the page settings.
We will better support Classic Editor plugin in the next update.

Hello, I just purchased this theme and am trying to make changes to the home page (default Newspaper). I couldn’t simply delete two empty columns that were there with the Visual TD Composer. So I was thinking it would be straightforward to go into the page editor and edit the content directly. Boy was I wrong, the editing is horrible and the markup is not formatted in any way from the demo!
I wish I could share a screen shot but the shortcodes are all jumbled together and not only that wordpress minimizes the width of the page editor. I will have to copy and paste the text of the default newspaper homepage to another editor so I can make sense of it, make the changes, and then paste it back when done. How come the default demo content is so unstructured and all garbled together on what looks like one line? And also how come I can not do something as simple as delete an empty column in TD Composer? This is supposed to be easy and this is anything but to do the most basic editing!
