Hi,
I see you are already using those icons you mention in the homepage
– http://prntscr.com/k9ud7k
I don’t have an actual official guide that you could follow in this matter unfortunately.
Maybe we will add the possibility to allow the usage of user icons with a theme or composer setting, in the future. I believe this is added on our request list and it will be considered.
Hi,
I am trying to install the demo content, but everytime I try, I just get a black screen for the homepage. I cn go into the individual posts and view them, but the homepage just shows a white screen.

Hello,
I tried using post slider on my homepage using wpbakery page builder but wheneverI try to update my homepage, I get an error message stating {“status”:”Nothing found”}
Please help
Having multiple issues with homepage. Updated theme and working to load TagDiv composer, but TagDiv composer not loading — get the “endless loading circle” described by other users.
Prior to this, page was not allowing me to save any changes in the Visual Composer. Was using classic mode as work around. But…
Now, classic mode indicates correct code, but elements are still not functioning and I have no way to edit via (Visual or TagDiv Composers). So I’m stuck. For example, single image box sizing incorrectly and Big Grid not displaying selected filtered posts (grey box).
Trying to recreate the pages (as instructed), but can’t even get started.

hello guys how to edit homepage i mean editors pick parts and remove travel parts
Hi,
I’ve imported the demo default site but for some reason the first block of the page is visible in edition mode but not when I access the homepage after having saved my changes (please see both captures : https://ibb.co/cCOhJd and https://ibb.co/gQTtPJ).
As the site is under construction, please tell me if I can share with you my admin credentials here in order for you to see the issue.
Best,
Deborah
Hi I’ve just uploaded my files to my website @ http://www.visit-chester.co.uk but I’m a bit stick on how I change my homepage. Basically I want to keep exactly the same layout just change the pictures to mine etc. How do i go about that? Many thanks
I want to show category tags ONLY on the blog/homepage, so I activated the HIDE CATEGORY ON POST AND ON CATEGORY PAGES option on every category. The tags disappeared, correctly, from both places, but disappeared frp, the blog/home too!
Why? Isn’t that incorrect behaviour?
Thanks
Ah this has happened to me on my homepage too, not major issue as I show 25 posts, and hasn’t affected views – it isn’t a Cloud Template though – perhaps the same issue and look forward to a fix
Pat
Thank you for your quick reply, much appreciated.
Until last week, I was able to use TD Composer to edit both my homepage and the English version of this page. For example, I have edited my agenda items in the /en page. What happened: after “save current row” at my homepage I was opening the /en page, scrolled down, tried to insert this saved row and then TD Composer gave an error.
So, maybe the current error message “(Error at rows: 23 (models) : 24 (dom) The model doesn’t match the content)” is related to my latest intervention of inserting the saved row.
Hope you can give me a solution based on this background information. If not, do you think it is possible to edit the /en page without losing my current layout?
Thanks a lot
Hi,
For me most images do not display on desktop in the homepage
– https://www.screencast.com/t/rulnbsbACJ
This most likely happens due to a js conflict present in the website. The quick fix for the images is to deactivate the theme lazyload which is the first to break in such cases
– https://www.screencast.com/t/dV4Lk9br
The recommended way is to try and identify what is the cause, as this may affect other theme elements. I see the header search does not work as well.
Temporarily deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, remove custom code if you have any entered in the theme panel or theme files. These would be the first steps to try.
Thanks
Hi,
Depends on what you mean by data. Installing/uninstalling a demo will have no effect on your own created posts or pages for example.
Installing a demo with content will provide the demo homepage, without content there will be no homepage included. You can copy the homepage form the demo files in that case, and configure it
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/getting-started-from-demo-best-practises/
Also the process will import the demo custom stylesheet and theme panel settings belonging to the demo. The theme panel settings are essential if you want the website to look like the demo, colors, font settings etc will be imported.
Your theme panel settings will be replaced if you decide to install a demo.
Thanks
Hi, I have installed latest 8.8 Newspaper. I installed default demo content. Now I tried to edit the homepage with Tagdiv, but i am getting this errror
Errors at columns elements: 3(models) : 2(dom). The model does not match the content
How to solve this?
I know this sounds silly.. but I’m trying to set up a background for the site.
So… I go to Theme Panel > Background and I select a background image there.
Settings: No Repeat – Left – Fixed – Stretch Background.
All is well.. but then.. I save this and open up my homepage. There is NO background there, or on any other page whatsoever (post or category page). What am I missing??
Thanks.
Hi,
I’m creating our homepage and I would like to add a section on the front page with woocommerce products, is it possible to do this via td-composer? I’ve looked through the list of elements and it doesn’t show any for woocommerce.
If not, is there another way of doing this?
Thanks!

Hi,
What exactly should I check in the homepage? I have clicked most of the blocks, grids, ads in the homepage but I see no problem at the moment. Sorry if I misunderstand.
As a note, if you use WPBakery as the builder for your website, deactivate the tagDiv composer (this plugin will be activated automatically after a theme update). There could be problems when they are both active, in some cases.
Thanks
Hi there, I updated my site theme updates and its plugins and the latest version of wordpress and now some sections on the homepage do are not linkable anymore. The site is https://horticultureconnected.ie, the newspieces links banners on the bottom part of the homepage work, other pages seem to work fine. Do I need to revert to latest backup?
Thanks
Hi,
That would be unusual. The homepage you set in WordPress settings should be displayed
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
We could take a look, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login. Include a link to this topic in the email.
Thanks

Hello raybatch,
You can change the cover image from TD Composer when you edit your homepage. Notice that here is talking about a single ROW. Go to the ROW Settings and check the background from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/8SBxipTt0INB
Thanks.
Hello ananas,
If you want to do something like this, notice that you can do it from TD Composer when you edit your homepage. As a hint, for Mobile, you can use some elements you want and hide the unwanted ones, like this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ISZ6fVXRQ0 In that way you can create your desired layout for each device.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Please provide more details to exactly where you want to show the title of the website? Do you want to show it across the whole site? or just the homepage?
Thank you!
Hi,
By a theme setting that is not possible, it could be done with CSS. However if you use Adsense it is complicated. They mention that Adsense ads should not be hidden from view
– https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/1354736?hl=en
You could create a condition in the header style 10 you are using, something like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BhydQTSLfL4
Then the header ad will be displayed everywhere except the homepage.
What you could also do is to use a plugin for your ad implementation. Most users who want more advanced ad settings recommend the Adrotate plugin. More info about it here
