Please provide a link to your website so we can take a look. That could happen if you have caching installed and maybe it is not configured properly.
The cache should be cleared when a post is published, like this setting in WP Super cache for example

Or maybe the filtering and sorting you set on the homepage does not display latest posts. Check that as well. This is a guide presenting block settings

In momentul de fata in tema Newspaper pe care il folosesc este dezactivat Futured Image, deci nu pot sa folosesc temele predefinite de Newspaper in posturi, insa daca activez futured image atunci in posturile mele vechi vor aparea de doua ori poza (in fiecare post am inserat poza care apare featured image la homepage/category).
Exista posibilitatea sa setez future image din Panelul Newspaper in asa fel incat in articolele vechi sa nu apara de doua ori?
My guess is that you’re using unique articles on the homepage what removes the news from the slider?!

for some of my posts, the thumbnail is not well generated on the homepage… there is a, grey area behind the picture, or in listes, some picture doesnt cover the whole space… it looks like the pictures are just resized proportionnaly and not croped

When you look at the right sidebar underneath the ads … there is the slide modul.
On every subpage like

you can see there a first slide “Haspa” – and that one is missing on the homepage.

That will be the case. If the mobile theme plugin is disabled, then the same content from desktop will be displayed on all devices. The mobile theme plugins is optional, you can simply leave it deactivated.
If you choose to use it, please note that mobile page content will have to be entered through the mobile editor

Everything works fine but only on for the module imbedded on the homepage i got the following problem:
the latest article/post will not show up for a specific (filtered) category.
When i use the module on subpages it works fine – on the homepage not.
Can someone help please?

There is an option to customize the general module excerpt size in the theme panel

On the homepage besides the theme excerpts there seem to be a different excerpt text as well. That text seems to inherit the body font and properties

This is highly unusual, the socials are displayed everywhere but the homepage footer. They do not seem to be loaded at all on the homepage. The container where they should be is empty.
A suggestion would be to briefly deactivate all plugins except theme plugins as a test. Clear all caching after doing this, and check if the socials are displayed. Additionally if you made any modifications to the theme files, check them as well.

thanks for your feedback and your advice. We are looking into other options like the one you suggested.
However, we still need a fix for our current issue.
By the way, we also had a look at other sites to check whether we’re the only ones using pagination on our homepage. Sites like searchenginejournal or the kissmetrics blog do it as well (with correct canonicals and rel next/prev). Doesn’t mean you’re wrong. Just wanted to point out some examples.

The newspaper theme has a lot of homepage content. I want to remove some of the pre-loaded sections that came when I did a demo install.
I can’t seem to figure out how to do this. I assume it would be with the drag and drop features of tag div, but I can’t get tag div to show up when I am on the homepage. Any help would be appreciated.
Is there a way, on the newspaper homepage, to have an embedded email capture for people who want to sign up for a newsletter?
First, you screenshot is of an article and not the homepage, so you are comparing apples to oranges. If you had looked at homepage at close to 767px, like I show above, you would have seen the ad encroaches on the content below it.

Hi there. I recently reinstalled Newspaper after a botched update attempt (I tried migrating our current site’s database to the test site with the intent of migrating everything back over to our real server with the new theme and updated database. This went badly). I downloaded and installed the latest version of the theme and am trying to rebuild my site; specifically, the homepage. When I use TagDiv Composer, I’ll drag an element onto the page (In this case, a Big Grid) and nothing happens. The “rows” appear to be generated, but there’s no content in them. Small blocks do appear (however, none of the graphics show up in them). This was working just this morning.
I’ve already deactivated all of the plugins but the TagDiv ones (again, all of these plugins were working fine with the theme this morning). I’ve essentially lost six months of work (not your fault; this was all me), but I can’t rebuild anything I had for some reason. Am I missing something blatantly obvious?

Could it be that one of my plugins is shutting everything down?
Upon posting, about 700 people get a browser alert via ONE SIGNAL
and an email alert gets sent via ‘Email Subscribers’ plugin. But that only goes to about 20 subscribers.
I also have ‘Nextscripts” plugin running which sends the post to Facebook, Twitter and Telegram.
The way I know something is wrong is either,
1. When I try share a post on Facebook, the picture and link doesnt show up, the attachment just shows the homepage.
2. I get a 503 error.
Then what I do is wait a while and sometimes it works, or I resubmit on ‘Nextscripts’ from the page and that fixes, the image not showing up, most of the time.

My website was down because of a database error (http://homesoftherich.net) I contacted my host company and they got the site back up. However, when it got back up, all the images were blank (homepage thumbnails). If you go to a post, the images in the gallery don’t show up, only text. If you click the text, then the image pops up.
Also, all the links in the menu were wipe out and now it won’t let me save any changes in a post or page.
What happened?! -_-
