Can anyone help me, why i dont have Tech, travel, Videos and Features menu in my Demo data, i have only Fashion and homepages?

Hi,

I’ve used Block 2 on Homepage for a category and changed the Excerpt on all modules to Word —> Content length 20. (I’m using Thai)

It turns out that on the homepage, the post shows all the content, not just 20 words.

When I tried changing from Word —> Letters, it barely shows any content description and the post title.

How can I fix this? I just want the Homepage block to be like yours in the demo here —>

Please tell me how to configure. Many thanks in advance!

Actually I want to add an embedded image as the featured image of the post. Is there some way that it can be done?

If not, is it possible to switch off the “display featured posts” option for only a particular category? (this way I would be able to not show the featured image within the post but still be able to use it as image thumbnail for homepage).

Is it is possible to use the homepage big slider with pages instead of featured posts?
I have made a boolean custom field named “inside_big_slider” for pages.

I would like to reduce the featured image size from 640×414 to 640×325. I usually just go into functions php and make the change to crop the image. Can’t find it in the theme files. How can I achieve this and keep the images from looking squished or distorted?

Also, where in the Theme Panel do I change the size of the homepage blog post title font? I want to slightly increase it.

I recently purchased the theme, and love it, but it is taking a lot of work to set up. I have a few questions, if someone wouldn’t mind helping me out.

1) How do I change the text of the “trending now” thing to say something like “recent posts” or the like?

2) When I click on a post (from the homepage) it takes me to that post, but the sidebar then goes completely blank. How do I add a sidebar so that it shows up on blog posts, and pages, as well?

3) When I try to load the site on my mobile phone it says it cannot be found (yet every other website loads and looks fine). Why is the mobile site, for my phone, not working?

I’m using Header Style 3 (full width logo + menu)for my homepage and uploaded a 3000×300 logo image. (I want a bigger logo than 300×100)
I’ve also used 3000×300 for mobile logo too, but the display seems too small on the top right corner. Can I make the mobile logo bigger across the header? The website is http://www.konenok.com

Do I have to make changes to css? If so, which files do I need to edit? Or where can I add the code? (I’m using a child theme)

Is there anyway to use my website’s Title and description to show on the browser’s tab?

When I use visual composer’s homepage block, it adds the homepage’s title to my website’s title on the browser tab.

I just noticed under my recent posts list, when people click (2)/(next) it loads back to the current homepage.

I have bought this theme few days ago
and after I upload the theme, I also change my homepage path from http://www.guidepals.com/blog to http://www.guidepals.com. ,
Then I follow the official methods, copy index.php and .htaccess to my root file
(“blog” is my wordpress folder)
And change he code of newsmag from ” require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . ‘/wp-blog-header.php’ ); ” To “require( dirname( __FILE__ ) . ‘/blog/wp-blog-header.php’ );”

however, when I open http://www.guidepals.com , i can’t see anything even 404
and when I open http://www.guidepals.com/blog I can see 404 page with Newsmag theme..
but when I click any button of articles, i can’t see anything even 404 page again….
I don’t know if there’s anything I need to change for Newsmag’s path or any files?

Hi, I am trying to create a homepage with the instructions provided but for some reason elements I include using visual composer, such as the big grid are breaking see here: http://todosobrecamisetas.com/homepage/

This happens if I do a row of articles, a slider, anything added with visual composer. Can you help? Thanks, great theme!

Hi,

I added a widget with some ad code from RevContent and it shows up fine on the sidebar. I also added some ad code to the Article Bottom Ad section from RevContent. The problem is on articles/posts the widget with the ad code is not showing up, but the code from the Article Bottom Ad Section is showing up. On the homepage though, where there is no Article Bottom Ad Section the widget with the ad code is showing up fine.

What is the matter here?
