Hello,
The category id is 18 not 232 http://screencast.com/t/WZmCFFnP
You put the post ID.
Also I’ve deleted the username and password from the forum, because is public here 🙂
Thanks!

Hello,
You want to exclude that category ‘vraag & antwoord’ from the big slider, and from homepage and to be visible only on this category vraag & antwoord?
Edit the homepage, then edit every block and exclude that category ‘vraag & antwoord’ putting in exclude category the category ID of the ‘vraag & antwoord’ with minus(-)
Thanks!
I edited the code a little more and got it working. However, i know run into the same problem as Octavian. The reviews shows up beneath the sharing buttons and comment box i inserted. Can’t we use the include() function to somehow get the get_review working? My code now looks like this:
function content_injector($content) {
global $wp_query;
$postid = $wp_query->post->ID;
if (is_single((get_post_meta($postid, 'top_ad', true) != 'off' ))) {
$top_ad = do_shortcode('[td_ad_box spot_name="Ad spot -- topad"]');
}
if (is_single((get_post_meta($postid, 'bottom_ad', true) != 'off' ))) {
$bottom_ad = do_shortcode('[td_ad_box spot_name="Ad spot -- topad"]');
}
if (is_single()) {
$custom_share = '<div id="title-deel"><h4 class="block-title"><span>DEEL</span></h4></div>' . do_shortcode('[ssba]');
$facebook_comments = '<div id="title-reageer"><h4 class="block-title"><span>REAGEER</span></h4></div>' . '<div class="fb-comments" data-href="' . get_permalink() . '" data-colorscheme="light" data-numposts="5" data-mobile="false" data-width="700"></div>';
}
$content = $top_ad . $content . $bottom_ad . $custom_share . $facebook_comments;
return $content;
}
add_filter('the_content', 'content_injector');
Oh and Octo, u might want to add the if_single code to your ads code like i did to prevent them from showing up on the homepage and other pages!
Thx Marius,
This is the link:
http://ap.easy4publish.com/~wishfor/
What I want is that the big post (Verschil tussen een samenlevingscontract en geregistreerd partnerschap) in the slider and homepage is only visible on the “vraag & antwoord” page…
Thx!
Hello,
Works on Chrome and on other browsers not? :). Please give us your site URL to see the issue.
Thanks!
Hello,
First….great theme!!! Thanks!
I want to exclude a category on the homepage. I want to show that single category on one page only? I look in this support site and you tell someone the following:
Hello,
You can hide that categories using the category filter on blocks and homepage loop to, just add in the filter the category ID with -(minus)
Ex. If you want to exclude a category Apple that have catID 3, write in category filter -3 and that category will be excluded.
Exclude from article list: http://screencast.com/t/mQUsgOrj
Exclude from a block or slide: http://screencast.com/t/VeL3SGOP
But when I do what you told, it isn’t work for me? (working on chrome??)
Kind regards,
Barry Verheul
hello,
I have fixed the documentation
https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-add-ads-in-front-of-and-behind-the-contents/
try it now.
Thanks for you message.
Radu A.
Hi, i used the shortcode function provided in your FAQ and the function adds the ads to the top and bottom of my homepage as well… How to fix this?
Is there a step by step tutorial showing how to setup my property to look and function like the homepage of the newspaper theme “live demo” shown on theme Forrest?
Thanks,
JTM
Hi,
I already looked through the Theme Customizer and it doesn’t work. I want to change only the text in the articles in each post as seen here:
http://www.screencast.com/t/7ycaUgTZ2ZD
While keeping all the fonts in the titles, homepage, buttons, menus, the same.
Caching: I use W3 Total Cache. I tried disabling Page Cache, Browser Cahe and Object Cache, but that gave no result. I disabled these all together, and separately.
My website is: http://www.katholiek.nl.
I use the full responsive (1170px) template. On the homepage I use a Single Image and then Block1 for all categories in default style. The sort order is ‘latest’.
This is the code:
[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][vc_single_image image="7499" img_link_target="_self" img_size="full"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
[vc_row][vc_column width="1/1"][td_block1 limit=”9″ header_color=”#00a287″ ajax_pagination=”load_more”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
For the homepage I used the standard template (which I like most and really want to use because of the right sidebar).
When I add a new blog post, it show on the desktop version, but not on the mobile one. What I do not understand is that When I first noticed this issue, I changed the standard template into homepage blank. Then did a refresh, and changed it back to standard template. Because the new blog post will show mobile. But doing that workaround everytime with a new post is not really doable.
With Mobile I meant ipad 1/Safari, ipad mini 2/Safari and iphone/safari. A friend of mine used Macbook Air on a very different IP and experienced the same problem and notified me in the first place.
Any solution is very welcome. Thank you very much.
Did your “adjustment and setting[s]” possibly offest the block1 homepage module?
If your CSS is in the child theme (as recommended when customizing themes) you could try deleting all new CSS, saving the file and refreshing (after cache deletion). If the issue is gone then you know it’s the CSS and you can revert all your CSS back and hunt out what’s causing the issue.
“Unfortunately this can be done easily.”
Can’t be done easily?
Also I think Marius is right, putting the social buttons alongside the title is impossible on the mobile layout. Putting it underneath would make more sense (on posts).
On the excerpt version for categories and the homepage, a social bar underneath the excerpt would work on desktop and mobile, but I feel like it would’t be effective. Usually people share links after they read them and get the gist of the content, not after reading a one sentence excerpt.
But yeah like Marius said you could get this done by someone from microlancer, fiverr, elance, olance, etc. Goodluck,
-Octavian
Hi there,
I’ve done installing your theme to my site at http://www.infokomputer.com
After doing some adjustment and setting, i’ve found problem with post title in block1 homepage module. It didn’t fill enough width, so the right side seems too much space (blank). I’ve try to change module setting, but no joy.
In your theme sample, Block 1 module looks perfect. How can i get excatly like that?
Thanks
Brama
If you use the visual composer to build your homepage, you can rename the title of blocks.

Where are you trying to change it back through? A category page?
From what I understand, the homepage shouldn’t be a category page. It should be a normal page that uses any of the homepage templates.
1. Making the homepage
To create a homepage:Go to Pages -> Add new
Select a Homepage – with article list template from Page Attributes (*see image bellow)
Start Visual Composer by clicking on Visual Composer blue button.Build your Homepage using Blocks content or you can use predefined Homepage templates from Page Builder
Doing it this way also offers more customization control for the homepage because you can design it however you want using the visual composer.
If you are already using the visual composer and can’t edit the blocks, I’m not really sure what’s wrong..

Hi there,
I got a question. I am using the Newspaper template, with module 2 on the homepage for articles of any category.
The newest post of an article is showing on my homepage (desktop version), but not on my homepage (mobile version: ipad/iphone).
The same applies to the ‘recent reactions’ widget on a post. It is refreshing on the desktop version, but it does on the mobile template.
How can this be corrected?
Thank you.
Hi,
i have a problem with the “pages” module. I can access to the module but i can’t create new pages neither edit existing ones that are on line.
Below is the error message i get on my screen :
—————————-
PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in F:\Inetpub\vhosts\blogzineauto.com\httpdocs\wp-content\themes\Newspaper\wp-admin\content-metaboxes\td_set_page.php on line 27
PHP Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in F:\Inetpub\vhosts\blogzineauto.com\httpdocs\wp-content\themes\Newspaper\wp-admin\content-metaboxes\td_set_homepage_loop.php on line 20

Could this error comme from the WordPress SEO plugin ?
Thanks for your answer
I’m using module 5 for the homepage and categories http://appcomrade.com/category/app-reviews/iphone-apps/ if you look at the last row, there is only one post instead of three to fill up the row.
How can I manage the amount of posts per category/home page?
