- NewsmagHow category settings work
I vote ‘no’ as I hate ‘infinite load’ sites as they often crash mobile devices, and lock up desktop version waiting on ads to reload again. I personally stop going to such sites (try Automobilemag.com on an iPad to see what I mean!).
If it matters so much, simply build a script that triggers ajax load of “next post ID” when the scroll bar hits a certain target. Or, try one of the many canned solutions already out there …
e.g., https://wordpress.org/plugins/ajax-load-more/
(etc.)
my vote = NO
1.I have a post that’s a video format, I want to play the video on the home page(the feature video image should be embedded with a video and be able to play), with out going into the post(new page)?
2. I want the post to be a infinite carousal (I dont want to scroll down to see the next post i want the post to slide in from the right like a carousel)
It’s a beautiful template looking forward
for the solution.
Thank you in advance
Hello,
Sorry but for the moment there is no simple way of having infinite loading on posts or reloading of the ads.
Thanks.
Hello HadLines,
Unfortunately, the infinite scrolling on posts is not available in our theme. We do not have a plan on adding this yet as we have not found an easy method of implementation for it at the moment.
Please check this link, here is detailed a possible implementation:: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/implement-infinite-scroll-on-single-posts/ If you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard and if you want to develop the theme in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Sorry, but there is no viable solution for infinite loading for posts with our theme. Sorry. We do have it on our list for future releases but because of the way the theme was built, infinite scrolling is not possible at the moment.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hi,
Have you tried scrolling all the way to the bottom and then waiting for the infinite load to kick in? The first few posts are in danish, but the ones that load afterwards are not. We are aware of the console errors, but are certain that does not have to do with this problem. It seems like it has persisted for some time.
Are you the right people to look into this or should we also try to contact WPML?
Regards,
Magnus/Digitally
Hello,
I have an issue with the infinite scroll and load more button category settings.
I set my desired category global settings to article display view M2 and the pagination style to infinite scroll + load more button:
https://www.screencast.com/t/jNVYAksB92S
For my desired category called “Teksty” (it’s the parent category to all my posts) I chose the default settings (from the category global settings):
https://www.screencast.com/t/ATbsVjbbc9E
But the result is:
1) When I click on the “Teksty” tab the posts are displaying without excerpt (wrong) but with Load More button (good)
https://www.screencast.com/t/Vhek3Zzs1X
2) When I click on the “Wszystko” category from the mega menu (meaning “all posts”, so the result should be the same as “Teksty”) the page is displaying post with excerpts (good) but without Load More Button and with infinite scroll instead.

Is there any way to fix this?
I would be really grateful for your help,
Hi,
We are using WPML with our site (ronaldo.com), but when we turn on the infinite load function on the non-english version of our site, the first few posts are in the correct language, but the posts that start loading are all in english. Is this because the theme is not completely compatible with wpml? Or is there a quick fix to this that you know?
Best regards,
Magnus/Digitally
Hello,
Sorry but infinite loading will not work on posts. Our theme provides infinite loading on categories and pages but not on posts.
You cannot prefetch posts or increase the theme width. Sorry. We are aware of other themes having this functionality but we did not build our theme with this in mind.
Thank you.
I have few request If you can add new feeature like:
– Infinite load on Single post? So when user scroll to bottom of post, previous post automatically load. Here is an example
– Prefetch Posts.
– Increase theme Width: A lots of websites are using this theme now, so there are many websites with a similar design. If you add an option to manually increase theme width and select between Full width or boxed it will completely change the design. Voice theme by Meks has an option to manually adjust theme width.
Thanks
Hi,
I’d like to make all my category pages an infinite loading series of Grid Full 1 top posts, sorted by most recent post at the top, then 2nd most recent post 2nd, 3rd most recent post 3rd, etc.
That’s the example of just one post. I’d like to separate each post by around 10px of empty padding between them. So it’d be like this:
————————————————————-
Most Recent post of this category (in grid full 1 style)
————————————————————-
————————————————————-
2nd most recent post of this category (in grid full 1 style)
————————————————————-
————————————————————-
3rd most recent post of this category (in grid full 1 style)
————————————————————-
————————————————————-
4th most recent post of this category (in grid full 1 style)
————————————————————-
————————————————————-
5th most recent post of this category (in grid full 1 style)
————————————————————-
————————————————————-
6th+ (til infinity) most recent post of this category (in grid full 1 style)
————————————————————-
Thanks!
Hello,
Sorry but our theme does not have any such settings. The pages will only show a list of posts continuing the ones on your homepage. If you want to load the posts on the same page though, you can simply choose another page template without the latest articles element: https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-templates-2/ and create your own block with an infinite loading pagination. This guide should help with the settings: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
Sorry but the mobile theme will not support complex elements such as infinite loading as the mobile theme does not use visual composer and the functionality is only added through the page builder.
If order to have infinite loading on posts, you will have to use the standard responsive version of the theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
Is there anyway I can make infinite load on the mobile version instead of page wise display, now I can access my site from mobile but after few posts it shows pages 1,2,3 to click, I need all the posts one by one below.

Thanks

Hello sil2,
Unfortunately, our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to turn off all the Ajax Requests. You should disable each element from theme panel wich uses the Ajax like -> Post View Counts, Load More or Infinite Loading Pagination for Blocks/Modules, Ajax Filter, Live Search. If you want to avoid these requests you must use these elements. If you want to find more references about the Ajax Request, you should check our tagdiv_theme.js core file because there you will see what type of element from the theme uses the Ajax.
Thanks for your understanding!
thanks you this helped me a lot, one other question how do i get the blocks to create new pages. I’m using block 11 on my home page to show my old post but its loading an infinite number of posts. i want it to show a limited number of post so that the home page is not too long.

Hello,
Sorry but our theme does not have an infinite scrolling option for posts. Our theme has infinite loading but only for pages or categories. Posts do not have this feature.
Thank you!
Hi!
Help me figure out the infinite scrolling in the posts. Installed the plugin YITH Infinite Scrolling.
Which selector settings need to be specified?

If this plugin is not compatible with the theme, please tell me if you know another plug-in with similar functions.
1. how to hide author box in post
2. how to make after post raleted content like block11 infinite scroll
3. sticky sidebar ad widget
4. i want to make post page as full width when post is finished that page becomes full width
Hey!
Since this moring I realize that my homepage is broke (http://www.awayfromlife.com). The sidebar doesn’t work and it seems that the post block looks faulty. Also the category pages with the infinite load are also faulty – sidebar broke and faulty post blocks (http://www.awayfromlife.com/news). The posts seems to be okay. Other normal pages withouth post blocks also seems to be okay (like http://www.awayfromlife.com/info/kontakt/).
What could be the problem?
Thank you!

Nowadays more and more website add “scroll to next page” on their single post template. For example, MakeUseOf (you can check the feature on its content page http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/repeat-reminders-trello/)
Is there a way to add this functionality to Newsmag?
I’ve tried using these WordPress plugins below but can’t get to work correctly.
– https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-infinite-scroll-posts/
We’re interested too… All of the infinite scroll plugins we tried nothing seems to work, and most plugin authors do not support Newspaper 7, as they say it doesn’t follow WordPress coding standards, which is true in many ways.
Infinite scroll in post page is kinda a must for most sites today. Almost everybody uses it!
