The code uses the block settings and it should generate the same number of items on load more. I didn’t do any tests with a different value so i cannot tell you exactly what has to be adjusted, you have to make some tests. The code creates a script which is added on top of the block – http://screencast.com/t/S1v9IcNQdioc – the data is used for new requests on pagination (load more, next-prev, infinite load).
On your code i suspect you load 14 posts and then you set 10 for the next load, the offset is set to 10 instead of 14 and this may be the cause why you get duplicate posts. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have such an option, you can achieve this only with custom modifications so I suggest to hire a freelancer to do this for you as we cannot provide custom work at this time, sorry! What can be done with the theme is to create a block(filter options, set infinite load pagination) and use do_shortcode function to display it in the post template that you use something like this – http://screencast.com/t/NKjGzgOKWin – http://screencast.com/t/lT1GsCBptd9m
Also you can try to find a plugin that allows infinite load on posts, but we did not tested any of these so I cannot make any recommendations.

1/2/3 Unfortunately these theme features are built to work just with posts not pages and to make them support and use pages you need to customize the theme and practically rebuild the function for related articles or socials.
Currently we’re working on adding custom post types support for blocks so once this support will be implemented pages could also be used as CPT like you need them now. Sorry!

a) That section is set with css to have a maximum width of 252px, you can rewrite tat rule using this css: http://screencast.com/t/iQh6wzCx9M

b) Unfortunately not because the load more/infinite or next/prev pagination only works on blocks and it can’t be used on loops. Sorry!

Unfortunately the load more or infinite load pagination can’t be implemented for loops or post pagination.
If you need another implementation for the latest articles section you can try this functions: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/next_posts_link and add them using an div tag on the template you use on your homepage and replace this: http://screencast.com/t/7DlGd290CLB

Hi,

Please deactivate all plugins, leave just Visual Composer active, clear cache and purge your file if you use CDN, then check if ajax pagination works (infinite load, load more). Also check the posts content. If don’t have this issue anymore please activate your plugins one by on and see which one caused this issue.

1. Regarding that block on authors template it can’t be done using the page builder as the author template isn’t customizable however you could try to create your block using the VC page builder then use the do_shortcode function to place block’s shortcode to the template here: http://screencast.com/t/uuJFRN3aWNvQ

2. On author template the post’s section is given by the loop.php template and for the it can’t be set other pagination other than the numbered one so the infinite/load more pagination can’t be used there, just on blocks. Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have infinite load feature for post pages, it has ajax pagination only for blocks(next/prev, infinite,load more). The only way to achieve infinite load on post with our theme is to use block shortcode like Lucian suggested above.

Glad that you solved this!

1. You are right the load more button should be deactivated when there are not articles to display. We know about this issue and it will be fixed in version 5 of Newspaper.

2. To achieve that you can use next/previous pagination as the theme doesn’t have another type of pagination, for infinite pagination you can only to limit articles(like you limited at 2 articles) and for each page it will show the number of posts that you have limited.

I don’t think that if you use block 8 will solve the load more button issue, it will solve only small thumbs appear(module 3) to appear.
You have limited the posts to 2 and set load more button to appear after 10 pages to appear. Please take a look how many pages you have there – http://screencast.com/t/5hCGB9TjMTkc so the articles are over after 6 pages and that’s why the load more button doesn’t appear(the infinite load doesn’t get to the 10 pages). Hope this make sense and help you to customize your block how you wish.

You have 12 articles to this category – http://vastavalkea.fi/category/blogit/ and all those articles are displayed on your infinite load block in 6 pages if you limits post to 2. So the load more button should appear after 10 pages(not articles):

We have set “Infinite load show ‘Load more’ after x pages” to 10

You can do this by editing your post’s template files and use the do_shortcode function to place there, after the posts content any widgets you build using visual composer’s page builder. Please note that the load more button will not appear if there are no articles to show after the infinite load is over. We haven’t tested the theme using any of those plugins so I can’t provide an accurate answer on this.
I suggest you also address the issues you have using them to plugins authors and make sure that you sue them right.

The theme already has a built in infinite scroll pagination for blocks which you can use to display your content and use the infinite scroll pagination feature.
You can configure a block to use the infinite scroll pagination and on templates on which you can’t use the page builder add the block shortcode inside the template where you need this.
Here is an example for using block 13 with infinite scroll pagination on single post page after the related posts section:

We haven’t made any test using plugin like that.
Not really sure where would you want the infinite scroll feature. If you would want this for related articles section you could try to call a block customized by you using the VC page builder and render it via the do shortcode function in posts’s template replacing the related posts area.
I haven’t tried to do this so I can’t guarantee this will also work but you could give it a try.
