Hi,
Yes, you can install the demo data, is something similar with the our demo content but with less posts.
Thanks Christopher for your help!
How to move a website from url: “domain.com/test” into the main url: “domain.com” to preserve all links, theme styles and modifications and plugins? Must I install WP in this directory first or easily to copy all directory using FTP?
Hi,
First you should localize your WordPress: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language
Install WordPress in your language then automatically the theme will use the rtl and arabic language.
Search the forum for suggestion and fixes for the issue you may encounter with this and you should also consider that unfortunately we recently have decided that starting with the next theme update we will not include rtl support within the theme. You can still use the theme as it id but unfortunately you cannot updated it as you will lose the rtl support.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks for the message and for understanding!
Wordpress cannot make images larger, only smaller. To have images larger than what you upload, you need to use a plugin for that. I use the plugin, THUMBNAIL UPSCALE by Stanislav Khromov, which works wonderfully.
There is a full-width image layout for posts, if you look at a post edit page, check out styles 4, 5 and 6. However, unless the original image you upload is large enough, it won’t fill the space as WP doesn’t do image enlargement.
So, you would likely want to install the plugin, and possibly regenerate thumbnails with the REGENERATE THUMBNAILS plugin, in order to get images larger to fit theme sizes, which is normal practice when moving to a new theme with different size thumbs and featured images.
Hope that helped!

Theme support folk will be back tonight tomorrow; but again, you’re asking to modify the theme outside of how it was designed; this usually means you need to hire a developer to “hack” the theme to do something it was not setup to do, and is not advertised to support when offered for sale. Just sayin’.
Look for Marius and Lucian to follow up once they are back in the office so to speak. They are closed weekends.
I’m only providing some feedback as long time client of theirs, and also was installing Newsmag this weekend myself so popping in here for any issues I might have missed, and helping out a little bit. Sorry if not very helpful, in your case. đ

I’ve forgot to point out, that I use WordPress 4.0.1 and Visual Composer 4.3.4.
The setup of wordpress is clean, I just installed your theme with necessary plugins.
I have the same problem.
I’ve tried to delete Visual Composer and install it again and the problem doesn’t disappear.
Here is the screenshot of my admin panel:
http://s22.postimg.org/a2h531vxd/bug.png
and here is the main page:
http://s30.postimg.org/8q3e9pt4h/bug1.png
Please help us to solve this problem.
Make sure you upload only the main theme files; donât install the âall filesâ zip from ThemeForest⊠that has docs, psd files, plugins, etc.
You want to install the smaller of the two files on Themeforest, if youâre installing via theme panel with .zip.
BEST WAY TO INSTALL WP THEMES:
Ideal way is still to
1) unzip theme folder âNewsmagâ on your HD
2) upload via FTP/SFTP to your /wp-content/themes/ folder
3) upload the plugins unzipped to /wp-content/plugins/
4) switch to default theme from your old theme
5) turn off *all* running plugins
6) clear your cache(s), turn off caching (!),
7) activate the Visual Composer plugin
8) activate the new Newsmag theme
9) launch the theme panel
10) reactivate only the plugins you 100% need to make sure they work (some plugins WILL NOT WORK properly with WP 4.01 until you update the plugins!).
Clear the cache in your WEB BROWSER FULLY and restart web browser; this clears any CSS/Java used by your previous theme admin, and theme, so that you see the new CSS/JS properly (seriously, this is cause for huge number of âmy new theme doesnât load rightâ or âadmin panel doesnât have any boxes!â errors).
If youâre running WordPress older than 4.0 be aware there is a very serious cross-site scripting vulnerability (e.g., WP 3.9.2). You should be running WP 4.0+ to use this theme properly.
This is standard practice for switching to a brand new theme and good habit to get into doing it this way to ensure you clear cobwebs on old, and cleanly move to new.
Hope that helps! đ

HI, just as a quick note, the theme is responsive; the sticky “sidebar” option has nothing to with responsive, which refers to the site changing to fit the viewport which it does really well.
A sticky element is a usability feature. The sticky sidebar doesn’t work on the iPad on the demo, so always a good idea to fully test a theme by playing with the demo on your desired device — not sure why it’s a “bug” if the demo doesn’t show that feature, then likely the version you install won’t either. Not a criticism or defending the theme, just clarifying for anyone who sees a similar “problem” or searches this forum on this topic.
I actually like the way the sticky menu bar works on the iPad …. where it hides, but then reappears when you start to scroll back up on the page.
However, I do *agree* it would be NICE to have the “sticky sidebar” work also on the iPad while in portrait mode. I would add this to a “request” for future updates. Not a hyper critical thing, but would be nice usability feature đ

I installed the theme , but after installation I see active after blank page . blocks all wordpress
Hello,
I have a fatal error when I try to install this theme :
“Fatal error: Call to a member function get_map() on a non-object in /wp-content/themes/Newsmag/includes/wp_booster/td_global_blocks.php on line 39”
What should I do ?
Thanks.
Thanks Lucian.
Was able to activate the predefined style successfully so thanks for that.
As for Visual Composer it is still a major issue.
See screenshot
http://bit.ly/11oMmv8
I have reved Visual Composer complete, even checked using FTP. Then installed Visual Composer from the plugin folder inside the Newspaper theme I purchased from you.
Still the code shows on the homepage.
Why isn’t the visual composer shortcodes rendering despite running Visual Composer?
I am not happy to share my website details publicly so if you can send me a private message then I am happy to create an admin for you to check.
i found this error when i install the theme
“413 Request Entity Too Large
nginx/1.6.2”
fix it please đ
Bro, install autoptimize or speed booster pack. Thes plugins can unify, compress and send to footer selective js and css to eliminate blocking renders.
Theme documentation good place to start
https://forum.tagdiv.com/installing-the-demo-data/
Unfortunately does not work Sticky SiteBar. Immediately after installation. I do not know how to turn on – what pisses
I had Newspaper in my blog before, and I just bought Newsmag
I followed the doc step by step
( Visual Composer was installed so it does not ask me install again)
Here is the result
http://www.screencast.com/t/OHyAILzq2t
Do I miss something?
@kvr28 I installed Newspaper in my blog, so I had visual composer already
I just fixed the dead white problem, but I have a new one
I followed the doc step by step (actually it’s same as Newsapaper)
Here is the result
http://www.screencast.com/t/OHyAILzq2t
Do you have any problem like that?
@Lucian, I emailed you about this but I do not know which you see first. I used the patch and it gave me errors so I reinstalled the full theme. It looks like it updated but im unable to access /wp-admin. When trying to go there, I receive:
Warning: require_once(wp_booster/td_review.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/klsbo/public_html/wp-admin/includes/td_wordpres_booster.php on line 71
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'wp_booster/td_review.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/klsbo/public_html/wp-admin/includes/td_wordpres_booster.php on line 71
Hopefully we can resolve this as soon as possible. (I also forgot to save the custom CSS in the Theme Panel, I imagine that is gone now after uploading the updated theme?)
Thanks.
Christopher, you have right.
can’t wait to see this theme on themeforest. Look at separators that takes away the white spaces from the theme!
And this theme is the result of the 18,197 posts at the forum.tagdiv. Many fixes that listed from the posts are what this theme is made of.
What we need in the future updates are only more blocks and modules so we can change the design how we want it.
I hope when I buy it and install the demo my site will look like this demo.
Saw it, wanted it and bought it. These words will be what I would be saying next week.
Well done team tagdiv!
Best Regards
Hi,
Please make sure you have installed the Visual Composer plugin right and follow this guide for it: https://forum.tagdiv.com/update-the-visual-composer-plugin-wpbakery/ Make sure you install the plugin form the plugins folder that came with your theme files.
To chose the fashion predefined style you have to go to “Import predefined styles panel”: http://screencast.com/t/TYpBmVgoQmb1 then select the fashion style: http://screencast.com/t/IjoTuIutC
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi,
have installed demo content but the site looks wrong. It seems visual composer is not converting code to visual.
Would like the demo content that looks like http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_fashion/
Hi,
Please make sure you make a backup of your current theme installation then re-upload your theme files via FTP: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme/
You could also try to upload just the loop-single.php and overwrite the old file, upload it in the root of the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
To remove the reviews you need to edit the td_module.php file and remove or comment out this code: http://screencast.com/t/GIx8BZ7QKEv
Unfortunately this is a common issue using the speed booster plugin. Of course the best way would be to disable the plugin.
You could also try to delete and install the speed booster plugin from the latest theme version files (4.5) It could solve this as I have tested this and seems that this issue doesn’t happen anymore.
We also have this issue on our todo list and we will fix it in one of the next updates.
Sorry about this!
Thanks for the message!
