Hello!
I just checked your website and it seems the Mobile Theme plugin is not active.
Normally it should work after installing the plugin.
The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have problem with my mobile theme on http://www.24hdz.com
The website doesn’t display (https://imgur.com/a/rhp4lCG). The screen stills grey.
When I disable the mobile theme plugin, the website displays the desktop version responsively.
I tried to reset the cache but still doesn’t work.
I tried to disable JetPack and enable it again, nothing changed.
I also disabled AMP plugin.
I deleted the mobile theme plugin and installed it again. Same problem …
Any solution about this ?
Thanks
Hello!
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Please note that Mobile Theme can not be edited with TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello,
1. Those articles can help you to create a staging website https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/
https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
2.It is possible that the theme and plugins update automatically, but the option is not set in the theme, the option is provided by your host, so you need to ask your host if the auto-update option is enabled.
3. When you did the backup restore, did you do the database as well? Also, the settings were made with tagDiv Composer or in the Theme panel or in the theme files?
Also, please make sure you have the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin, is possible to use elements from that plugin.
4. For images please make sure you have enabled this option from Theme Panel -> Post Settings -> Featured images => https://www.screencast.com/t/BIDW11v0
5. Also, if you can please do these steps before please make a backup => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAJXrSI-dDA
1. disable all tagDiv plugins
2. uninstall all tagDiv plugins
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. re-install all tagDiv plugins again from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/WLy01lbc
5. activate all tagDiv plugins
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activate, when you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Also, if you create a mobile page, please check if is set correctly => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
You can have a sticky menu only in a responsive version or mobile pages.
If you have installed Mobile Theme plugin, then you can not modify or customize it so much because Mobile Theme has its own design template.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello!
If you have Mobile Theme installed and active, then you can not delete some elements from there, only if you will find in the settings(Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme).
For more information about Mobile Theme, check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello!
Follow these steps:
1. Please make sure you don’t have Mobile Theme active and installed.
2. Delete the picture from here if you have one https://www.screencast.com/t/p92bTtthec1c
3. Set the color transparency here: https://www.screencast.com/t/qUJGD1USs

Hello,

Hi,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/

Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.

Hi. I had no issues trying this theme on another site.
But, I changed my mind and installed on a new site.
This time, I’m getting hung up on activating the AMP plugin.
I basically have had to remove the plugin via ftp to get back into my site.
My other theme plugins are installed. I am using a child theme plugin, but i have tried with and without it with the same results.
Meaning, I have tried the AMP activation with the main Newspaper theme active and I get the error.
There has been a critical error on this website.

Any ideas? Not sure if it’s the theme’s mobile plugin or not, still testing.
Thanks!

UPDATE: I was able to activate the AMP plugin with the mobile disabled.
BUT, I then re-activated the mobile plugin for the theme and that break the site now, too. Please help, I’m missing something. 🙂
Hello,
I made a test on my install and works well https://we.tl/t-QUaZWWOp9H
I think there is a possibility of a problem, depending on what code you use for the banner, also, clear your cache.
Thank you!
Hi, I just bought and installed the theme.
Can you please suggest a way to make changes and customise it without actually publishing it to all users?
The hosting package does not allow for a developement copy of the site to be set up.
Thanks in advance
I installed AMP and I didn’t like how it changed the look of my pages on mobile so I deactivated it, then it broke my website and I had to go into recovery mode to delete it and now the look of my website on mobile has not changed back to how it was before I installed AMP. Please help. https://thereferralking.com
Hello,

Hi,
I am running my site on Newspaper 10.3.9.1. I tried to update the theme in order to have the latest version (10.4), but then a fatal error is showing on all pages of my site.
You can see the details of the error on this printscreen: https://ibb.co/Msvghh7 .
Then I install back the version 10.3.9.1 and everything is working well again.
How can I install the version 10.4 and keep my site working?
Thanks,
Seb
Hey. I have a problem. When i publish new post, it appear on site but now showing in categories. But if i set publish date before 16.03.21, they appear.
Try to turn off plugins one by one…and when i trun-off tagdiv composer, they appear all…
so maybe its smth from the theme and this plugin?
Oh, we install theme on test domain now, not on main. They are different.
Hello!
First of all, try to do these steps as quickly as possible, so your visitors do not notice the process:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
4. install TagDiv Composer
5. activate TagDiv Composer
6. clear cache (if cache plugin exists)
Also, make sure your WordPress and plugins are up to date(specially Standard Pack installed and active if you use default templates).
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Thanks, Anamaria, bizarrely reinstalling the Composer fixed it.

Hi,
Usually, this error appears when the requirements aren’t set like in our guide, please make sure you have added the limit also in your wp-config.php file, in config is WP_MEMORY_LIMIT not PHP Memory Limit (there is a typo, sorry) – https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
please increase all lower requirements and follow all steps => https://www.screencast.com/t/3eF7oKMSOr2J, this problem is when you use plugins that in turn require wp memory limit (WPML, revolution slider) each, in turn, requires 256 MB wp memory.
The easiest way to solve it is to double the wp memory limit.
Also, you have to decide which of the two themes you want to use, delete all tagDiv plugins and reinstall them from plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/R1nkl4vGs
Thank you!
Hi,
Normally, the mobile theme plugin should work on mobiles without problems. Indeed some times it can be problems from cache plugins if those do not have mobile support (to be able to separate the mobile cache from desktop cache).
Usually, we recommend to use WP Super Cache with the settings from this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Thank you!
Hello,
As you can see on the picture on the link WeTransfer below, I can’t display the elements from Tagdiv Composer on my page but only their name. It seems to be alt text.
Actions already done :
– cache cleared
– re-installation of theme and Tagdiv plugins
– Deactivation of all other plugins
– Verification of Php settings
– No other page builder installed
Please can you help me ? I can’t continue the website building.
Thank you in advance.
Unfortunately, after I set the MOBILE+AMP there is no pisitive changes, that means on mobile page I lost sidebar.
additional, I don’t see mobile Tagdiv composer. I see in your YTube tutorial dedicated mobile editing after installing I should mobile tagdiv page edition…
I made the etst and deactivate mobile version and then I see on the mobile device all webside content incl. sidebar.
