Hi,
I have installed the Revolution Slider plugin, but it looks like the tutorials are for a little bit older version. I’m confused on where to apply it so that it is shown on my home page, identical to the Travel Blog demo. Where should I look – Appearance, Widgets, the Newspaper Theme Panel, or somewhere else?

We are sorry for your inconvenience !
It is mandatory to delete all what was left from the older tagdiv theme and plugin version before intalling this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the tagdiv plugins to be deleted too ?

I think that I misunderstand the problem, you want to remove the url for the website that the author have set in user account -> http://prntscr.com/pm36jn not to remove the links from the author box that link you to the posts/author page etc, if is so please set back the original code ( or you can simply reinstall the theme, only the changes made in theme files wold be lost ) and remove from user account the website url -> http://prntscr.com/pm37jp

I have already cleared the cache, still sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t and also the response time has got high, I didn’t install any additional plugins and I have a good configuration server, the problem is in the theme itself, please check the lighthouse score or pagespeed score for my site’s mobiles Version.

Hi, i just get this theme. everything is working great, but there is a problem with shortcodes. i just installed facebook and twitter feed in order to show the feed in my index, but i pasted the shortcode in the raw html and it only shows the code but not the feed as it should do.
OK have the Life News Theme install but i am having problem two things 1.There is another section of the header i cant find to change Logo ect the section when you scroll the site up and down. 2. I am trying to upload image in the AD section i am getting an error (Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)) please help

However it shows 48k FB when I have 51, it shows 0 for Instagram etc.

This has been resolved. The images/icons folder didn’t install for some reason. I uploaded it, and it works now.

The zip files from wp-content/themes/Newsmag/plugins are for theme plugins, if you’ll need to delete some theme plugins, then you’ll need to reinstall the theme to have the zip back.
So, you can delete them, this should not affect the website.

I use the Newspaper theme on my photography blog, and I have never regretted choosing this theme. I recently started using the block editor instead of the classic editor, and I was very pleased with the features of the new editor.
When using the classic editor, I use the “Metaslider + Metaslider Lightbox” plug-ins that I have already installed for photo galleries. When I read the tagdiv slide gallery in the block editor, I decided to use this feature. However, I get an error like the following:
“Jetpack’s Carousel has been disabled, because another plugin or your theme is overriding the [gallery] shortcode.”
Thinking that this might be caused by Metaslider and Lightbox plugins, I disabled these plugins. However, the problem was not solved.
Since the site is live, I don’t want to disable all add-ons and try them out one by one. Can you suggest a practical method to find the cause of this problem?

I’ve just checked on my install and for me this is working properly, this can be a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.

I purchased and installed the latest version of Newspaper on my blog, and uploaded the Animals Magazine demo content. However, I can’t seem to figure out how to get the color of links and other accent items to change. The default accent color was yellow. I changed that to burnt orange, but the links are still showing up in yellow. I can’t figure out how to change it.

ok, so it sounds like its not recommended to use a child theme with this particular theme.
I am also adding wpgeodirectory to this installation, do you have experience with this running alongside your theme, and would you still recommend not using a child theme in this case?
