Hi, I installed a demo on my site locally and I saw that a tdc-font-fast class is set to show the icons, my question is:

where can you see the previews of these icons set in the demos? I find them very interesting but in the guide he talks about installing font-awesome but I want to see the icons available already in the theme, I saw in the sources that there is a style sheet called icon newspaper or something similar but in the official guide this library is not mentioned nowhere

We’ve installed Newspaper & we’re having issues installing the demo ‘Default Pro’ with the content & activating the theme.

When trying to install the demo it comes up with the error tagDiv importer detected an error. The importer will try to recover and continue to install the demo… that error shows multiple times & unfortunately doesn’t install anything.

We’re running Ubuntu 18 with php v7.2 on Apache, WordPress v5.4.2
PHP memory limit is set to 256M
MySQL version 5.7.3
The Newspaper system status is all green (except the ‘Theme is not registered’) and yellow as no caching plugin detected
We’ve tried deactivating all other plugins (there’s only one other installed) but unfortunately the same issue. We’ve even tried setting the directory to 777 in directory permissions in case there was an issue there.

With regards to activating the theme we’ve tried both the automatic & ‘Activate the theme manually’ & unfortunately both show the loading circle infinitely.

If you have any advice or anything else for us to try would be great.

hey, i am facing error in installing demo content on my website.

Hi – I’ve not been able to get a background image to show up after installing the Fashion demo. I just get the white space background. I attempted to do so via Theme panel >> Theme background >> Upload. Am I missing something here?

Posts, Categories and Mobile Menu backgrounds all work fine.

Newspaper X theme upon installing to wordpress only shows three options welcome, plugins and Support. Other options like install demos, system status, updates, theme panel, activate theme, etc are not available. What should I do? How can I make this available?

I have tried everything, but cannot seem to access the tagDiv composer. Have even started from scratch by reinstalling WordPress. I have tried installing demos as well with content, but cannot edit anything using the tagDiv Composer page builder. Disabling all plugins
Removing and reinstalling Newspaper theme
Changing to different demos

NOTES
Site is a fresh install, not a transfer from another domain. Images show up in the library and image paths are correct. The problem started after 2 months of correct functioning. The problem only appears in Chrome, not Internet Explorer, nor Firefox. The problem does not appear for Chrome in incognito mode. Caching plugin was not being used when error ocurred.

All of this started 5 days a go.
On google page speed I was having 80+ on mobile and 90+ on desktop.

In this 5 days, I’ve tried to install some demos, I’ve tested them, trying different things .. i don’t like it so I am back to my “standard” configuration.

The issues is that now i have only 70+ on mobile and desktop, with the same “configuration” as before. I guess all started from installing different demos…

The most concerning thing is the index speed:
on desktop i have 4.2s
on mobile i have 8.9s (with AMP and mobile theme)

Some ideas ?
I’ve also deleted the cache and minified CSS/JS (I use WP fastest cache).

Health and Fitness Demo didn’t insert all templates to the cloud templates (in the dashboard).
When I look in the template cloud library, none of these demo elements can be found (not the header, not footer, not post, categories page and etc.) – where can I find these.

I’m asking because when I’m trying to edit it, it returns a message that the template cannot be edited with td-composer.

BTW, when using Gossip Pro in other sites of mine, while installing the demo, all the templates were downloaded directly into the Cloud Template Menu. https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_gossip_pro/

After installing the PULSES PRO template, when reviewing articles it does not display as in the demo version.

After installing the new ‘London News’ demo with content, we are unable to edit it in tagdiv composer. The following error pops up: “Errors at columns elements: 1(models) : 4(dom). The model does not match the content Current state has involved an issue.”
System status shows all values are OK, and disabling security plugins has no effect. On a similar post we found your answer to include adding <IfModule mod_substitute.c> SubstituteMaxLineLength 10M </IfModule> to the .htaccess file, however this causes a server error. Do you have any other suggestions please?

I have purchased Newspaper theme from you and i have the purchse code. It worked well for a week, but there was a attack on my website from some hackers so i had to delete the theme and re-install it. After re-instaling the theme i’m not able to see my homepage layout as it was in demo. Please do let me know how to get back my homepage as it is shown in demo.
And after reinstalling the Theme i’m not able to see the TAG DIV composer, please tell me how to get back the TAG DIV composer.

HTTPS is configured on my site
I’m installing a demo theme with content. After that, HTTPS stops working on the site… How do I fix this?

I must say am totally put down for expecting high with the theme.

Yes, it looks really pleasant from the demo ends.

After 26 hrs of consistently sitting beside your theme, the newspaper theme seems to me like a lost of some bulks.

However, if you would be able to help with the following issues, then you get thumb ups:

1. After installing any of the demos, (Currently tried the “Default Pro, Gossip Pro, Lifestyle & News”), the whole thing remains on the front end of my website unchanged irrespective of all the exciting changes I thought I have made from the Theme panel on the back end.

There has not been any changes made that went effective on the front pages of my website.

This is totally bad to me.

I can’t seem to believe it’s any Cache Plugin that could be responsible because at some points, I deactivated the Plugin (the Super Fast Wp Cache plugin), but problems never changed.

2. The most annoying part of it all: all my old pages on the website prior to the installation of the theme were completely disabled leaving only the titles.

I mean default pages like, Login, Register, Forum, Password Reset, and everything else that has to do with a page – in fact there is no other way to create a page that works asides using the Tagdiv plugin, am sure this is not supposed to be so.

I thought it should work similar to Elementor and other page builders where you only chose to use to design a page and not a must – what will then happen to the default WordPress page editor??

Currently, I don’t have the time and everything it takes to create those stunning pages as your theme claims, so I basically need my old page creating methods to work fine until am ready to build pages with Tagdiv composer.

If this is not going to be possible, then I don’t need your theme and your plugins.

Posts works same way as it used to be from default but not pages!

3. Thirdly, as soon as I enabled the Tagdiv composer and the corresponding plugins, the view counts on posts on the front end simply stops.

I have enabled the ajax method of counting from the theme panel, but no changes ever took effect.

With such problems as listed out, do you think am the one doing something wrong here or it’s something else?

The only “yellow” status as regards the functionality/compatibility of my website with the theme is the “40mb” instead of 128 mb as you recommended for a PHP size limit, so could this be the possible reason for all these?

Am not really so bordered about the $62 I paid and am not even raising any refund request here, my concern is “Who Shall Webmasters Now Trust For A Business” if the leading icons wave off our trusts?

Bug1: After Installing Newspaper theme in Admin Pannel I have to see only three tabs WELCOME,PLUGINS and SUPPORT.Am not able to see system status ,theme panel, demo install tabs in newspaper tab.
