Hi,
Sorry if my question has already been asked and answered, but I didn’t find it in the forum.
So,
I use header 10 style, in the “logo & favicon” settings, I can upload a logo and retina logo.
But the size of the image needs to be [272 x 90px] and [544 x 180px] (for retina).
When I upload bigger image, they are automatically resized to the header style size :
<div class="td-banner-wrap-full td-logo-wrap-full ">
<div class="td-header-sp-logo">
<h1 class="td-logo">
<[this is an "a"] href="[my-site-web-adress]">
<img src="[my-site-web-adress]/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/my-logo-600x165-300x83.png" alt="[my-site-web-adress]" />
</a> </h1> </div> </div>
So even if I change the CSS using custom CSS, the displayed images are still the resized ones.
My question is : How can I change the default size of the header style logo (and retina) in order to use the original size of my images ? (for max-width)
Of course, I also need that the logos keep being responsive…
Thanks a lot for your support.
Seb
HI Andrei,
I’ve the same problem too, because I only see the background green square but the Whatsapp white logo is missing (please see http://screencast.com/t/H1uQ5zIPrs6W). How can I fix it?
My web site (test environment) is at http://wp-dev-ntr24-31ba64cdf656650e14f1f97f34ac243d.ntr24.tv/
Thanks in advance for any appreciated help.

Hello,
1. There’s no cdn and I am on a budget server so no control over server caching as well. I use wp super cache and that has been setup as mentioned in your documentation.
2. Thank you for sharing the code. It removed the About section but I can still see the logo in footer :/
Also, can you share the name of plugin you guys use to further improve page speed i.e. minifying files?
Hey,
Just purchased the theme which looks fabulous, but on my site beardresource.com, when you look at the menu on mobile (at least this happens on my iPhone 6S Plus on Chrome), the toggle on the left for expanding the menu is not on the menu but just underneath it, and due to being white it barely shows.
How to fix this? I want that toggle back in line with the logo and search icon.
Hi
Thank you for your quick answer. If we run a test on the website responsivetest.net, we only see a green square without whatsapp logo.
http://responsivetest.net/#u=https://www.weertdegekste.nl/2016/06/aspergefietstocht-proef-de-lente/|640|960|2
Hopefully you can see it now.
I’ve found another small bug with the new grid. You can check this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/be5xhy
This essentially makes the site wider than it should be on mobile browsers and if you scroll to the right it might mess up the top menu (logo will no longer be centered).
Quick fix: @media (max-width: 767px){
.td-post-template-3 .td-post-featured-image:after {
width: 100%;
max-width: 100%;
}
}
Hi,
If you want the header to display your full logo and not a re-sized one, then you must use one of these 3 header styles: http://screencast.com/t/oaodGsz0
These styles will not re-size the logo in any way and render it in it’s exact dimensions.
Thank you!

Hello news_lp_client,
Please ensure that you have fully updated your theme to the latest version of it only via FTP because this is the surest method in this case. Also, please ensure that you have updated all the required plugins to the latest version of them (Social Counter 4.1 and Visual Composer 4.11.2) So, if you have some additional customization through code, please make sure that these will not affect the theme logo and also, if you are using the Child Theme, please try to switch the to the main theme and check the results. Also, if you want to further use the child theme, please ensure that you are using the latest version of it which come bundled with our theme to rule out some conflicts.
Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches, purge CDN file if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
If you need more assistance in this regard and if your problem is still there after these changes, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer.
Thanks.
Hello,
There are a couple of issues I am facing with respect to mobile theme.
1. I have go through the documentation and setup WP Super Cache as specified. However, there seems to be irregularities in terms of viewing mobile theme. I see mobile theme and the usual desktop theme at random intervals on a mobile device. Not sure why the usual desktop theme pops when when in-fact only the mobile theme should load.
2. On mobile theme, I am seeing the website logo and About Us written in footer. This is appearing even after disabling footer for mobile theme.
Hello Newspaper-Community!
I just discovered a really cool looking CSS transition-effect.
Take a look here:
http://www.techinsider.io/i-transformed-a-jeep-into-a-moving-house-to-travel-around-africa-2016-6
The logo is animated with the top navigation. Would also fit the newspaper theme really well.
Maybe someone can help me to copy this effect to newspaper?
Have a great Sunday,
Edward
Hi,
I’m currently using Style 12 for header, so I have the logo in navbar & I think the ‘home’ button isn’t neccessary to appear next to it, is there anyway i can hide it?
Thanks.
Hi,
WP version: 4.5.2
I just purchased the newspaper 7 theme and installed the cars demo. I kept receiving errors (about 5) while the demo was installing (“tagdiv importer detected an error”). When I hit “OK” the install continued but it seems the demo images didn’t upload correctly. Files are showing in the media gallery but there are no thumbnails which seems to suggest something is wrong. When I manually upload an image all seems fine. In looking at my site I’m not seeing:
– The Cars site logo
– The banner ad default image (alongside the logo)
– Slider images (but the wording is there for each slide)
I tried uninstalling the demo and reinstalling but the same thing happened. I uninstalled and reinstalled the theme but the same thing happened. Not sure what’s going on. I noticed there is a “Patch” directory in the directory with all of the theme files. Am I supposed to do anything with this?
I have screenshots of everything.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
i have noticed too, that the mobile logo isn’t showing in the mobiles versions. This should switch with the mobile logo and it isn’t happening. I fixed it for now with custom styles but i need a better solution.
Thanks.
Hi, this moring i updated from 6.6.5 to 7.1 and i noticed that the logo in the sticky bar is duplicated.
Like you can see in my image bellow.

How i can resolve this?.
Thanks!.
Hello,
my Newspaper Theme panel not save changes.
If I change logo image and click “Save setting”, after I refresh page and I check that logo image is the old one.
The same for all available setting.
How I can solve my issue, please?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
This looks interesting.
There is more than one page that we like to disable the top logo and main menu on. Where or how do I add the second page ID?
And on these same pages, we’d like to disable the footer. How would that be done?
Thanks,
Hi Bogdan,
Thanks for your help and your patience. The line works for the home page, but not for the other pages. Any suggestions? What could be the reason for the home page to react differently to the other ones, which still show the retina version of the logo?
I’ve now added this line:
.td-header-style-10 .td-header-sp-logo img {
width:130px!important;
}
Not sure if that’s an elegant solution and I do not understand why the other line doesn’t work for us. Thanks for your help though!
Jenny
Hello,
Try to use this code for the logo:
.td-logo img{
width:130px!important;
}
This code will re-size the logo to the desired dimension and align it to the center of the screen. It should work for every page not just the homepage.
Hope this helps.
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
we cleared the cache and tested it on different devices (all kinds of laptops and browsers of people who’ve never been to those websites). We’re 100 % sure, that it’s not a caching problem.
We are using header style 10 – which is supposed to show the bigger version of the logo on all displays, but want it to show the smaller version (width: 130px) on retina displays. This is why we’ve followed the instructions in your documentation for header style 10 (https://forum.tagdiv.com/logo-favicon/) and added the line .td-logo { width: 130px; } to the custom CSS. This line is doing what it’s supposed to do with newspaper version 6.7, but after updating the theme to 7 it does the following: change the logo width to 130px on the home page ONLY and moves it to the left side of the page. On all other sides of the page, it still shows the bigger version on retina displays. Here you can see how it looks on a retina screen: http://www.screencast.com/t/zbk526pSwXBf.
So the problem here is, that we are using retina displays. Retina displays show the bigger version of the logo – non retina display (which you probably have) show the smaller version of the logo. I assume that you have a non-retina display as this is why you only see the correct version or let’s say the non-retina size of the logo.
So the question is: What do we have to do to display the logo with the width of 130px on retina screens.
Best regards
Jenny
Hi
Please clear your browser cache as I have tested this on multiple browsers. The 2 logos have the exact same dimensions.
https://www.22places.de and https://spielwiese.22places.de
Try this from a different machine.
Thank you!
Hi Bogdan,
Thanks for your quick reply. We’ve tried with different laptops + web browser, and for us it always looks like this: http://www.screencast.com/t/zJFYGsfet
We would like it to always show the smaller version of the logo (irrespective of retina display or not).
What could be the problem? Thanks again, Jenny
