Hi michelsaguiar, If you deleted only the WordPress and theme files then should not be a problems, because the posts and all data is stored in database, but it is possible to have some tables in database that contains the malware, (not only extra files in WordPress).

Hi michelsaguiar, can you please provide some more datils about this problem? Do you have some examples? Our theme is scanned and verified before being uploaded to themeforest and is also verified by the platform’s tool for malwares, so there should not be such problems.

If you notice that the site redirects to other sites, it may be because of injected malware. We recommend you follow the steps below:
– Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
– Update the theme to the latest version, Newspaper v12.4

I bought the Newspaper theme a little over a week ago for a project. Before starting, I created a directory on my hosting to understand how the theme works and its settings. But to my surprise when activating the theme a malware contaminated all my hosting leading to the loss of my personal website and everything else.
Has anyone else had problems like this? Can I really trust the security and integrity of the theme and its files?
I would like an answer or even support to understand what happened, because I never had a problem with other themes before.

it works perfectly for me. Since you wrote that everything is fine for you if you use a mobile then probably is wrong with your computer. Some malware may cause it on your computer. Do some virus checks. Also, you can install another browser and try with another browser if you still get the same error. If yes, try another computer. If there is also the same problem, then something may be wrong with your connection.
I have removed the WPBakery and it seems everything is OK.
You mentioned something about a malware, please is there anyway I can detect a malware in my site like plugins, tools etc.
I have checked most files but it seems like there is nothing there, I have also changed passwords. Help me. Thank you

After buying and Installing Newparer, my site being affected by malware even though i have lisense.

In tds-my-account/?account_details the user can upload a Profile picture.
The image is uploaded to Media Library.
1. Is there a way to prevent a large file upload, eg set max file size?
2. What type of files does it accept (jpg, gif, png..?)
3. What if a file contains virus, malware? Is there a defense against it on upload?

Okay, this is very hard to explain, but I will try.
With the Newspaper theme enabled, when someone accessed my site from Chrome on a desktop they would be brought to a bogus “bot checker” and a popup would appear asking the user to allow or block. If you try to do either, eventually you end up on adult websites.
I contacted my host and they saw the same issue, so they ran a malware scan that turned up nothing.
So then I thought it might be a plugin, so I turned off all my plugins, including all the TagDiv plugins. Same issue occurred.
Finally, I changed theme entirely, going with the generic 2023 theme. Obviously with all the TagDiv coding, the site looked broken, but the links all still worked. I could NOT replicate the issue when the Newspaper theme was not active.
My website is GoingFor2.com. I will put the Newspaper theme back on so that you can see the issue. It seems to only happen in chrome on desktop. My main browser is Safari, and it seems to work fine on Safari.
We are using Newspaper in from last six, 7 months earlier our website used to get good traffic but suddenly due to malware attack on our website traffic down but issue is not issue is that one website ( https://nearnews.in) that uses the Newspaper theme, and it always gets traffic with Google Discover. But we don’t understand that despite working continuously, and using Newspaper, none of the content on our website (https://tiwariproduction.com) is going to Google Discover, can any one Who can tell me this or can give any advice, or can check and tell, what is the problem due to which not a single post of ours is going to Google Discover. Following the malware issue caused by the injected malware in the Newspaper theme I have downloaded Wordfence.
The latest scan flagged a few files and I wanted to know if they were in fact malicious files.

I read , the article , I exclude it could be a malware or foreign stuff .
When the article was published I had not yet purchased newspaper and anyway I am using the latest version , clean ,without strange plugins .
The number of visits is growing , the site is also monetized by google , I can not afford to experiment , I already tried it twice and went off line .

on my Site: https://www.bahn-tickets.com i recognized very bad SEO results, because of redirects to malware sites. I analyzed that the reason is based in td-composer plugin.
