Hello juwaini,

Unfortunately, the menu for mobile mode is custom made and this behaviour cannot be changed very easy but only if you will edit the core files which involve custom work. Please keep in mind that our theme has been designed to use the hamburger menu to bring best results.
If you want to display more levels in our theme and if you are not aware of the steps which are needed to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide custom work at the moment, sorry!

Thanks for your understanding!

Hello,

For my site http://pavlikeni.com, I had asked one of your associates to help me stretch it across the entire page as it currently is. While it looks OK on desktop, laptop and notepad devices, there is a problem on mobile devices – smart phones.

The problem is that the header logo and the header ad both do NOT center on the screen of the smart phone.

Could you please look into the custom CSS code you provided in the past and offer a solution?

Thanks,
Peter

Good day!
The plugin “td-mobile-plugin” is disabled and is not used by me.
Question: which file can change the background color, and other menu parameters in the mobile version in my case.
Thank you!

Is there a way to have the mobile menu push down the content instead of slide in from the left? Also how do I get rid of the social icons?

Hi guys,

Juwaini here. How to get the result as per written in my topic title?

Let me show an example here.

This is my website:

Hypelah

And this is how I want it to be, menu-wise:

Hypebeast

Is it possible?

Thanks. Have a nice day.

Juwaini

So, I’m talking about the area below the menu where the breadcrumps and the category tags are. After turning off the breadcrumps and the category tags, the white are is still present. Here’s an example post link: https://goo.gl/iTXXQP
Additionally question, I’m using the mobile version plugin but it’s not always loading, sometimes it loads the normal version an in such a case when I click the menu button, the menus doesn’t load, just the whole screen gets like boxed (tested on Windows Phone OS).

Hi team,

I have a couple of queries on the Newspaper 7 video theme. I couldn’t find a solution after tries. So i’m posting here…

1) Why my website in mobile theme is showing only the featured post and Latest post and not showing the footer items like Editors pick, popular post, categories, etc (I see them showing in the Newspaper 7 mobile demo theme)
Mobile theme
Is there anyway to do that?

2) I have created a Link in the MENU as “POPULAR” pointing to a page http://www.mysite.com/popular where i have added a block showing ‘All time popular’ posts. But nothing appears in the mobile version. Please help to configure this for mobile theme.

3) I’ve used Block14 with “Row Stretch” selected. But it seems like it’s not working. Any other settings need to be changed?
Block 14 Row stretch

Thank you in advance.

Hi Team,

I have a Newspaper 7 installed in a WordPress Multisite, everything seems to be fine except the mobile theme plugin. It says “The mobile theme path couldn’t be set…” when I tried to open it in mobile handheld. I have disabled all other plugins as I did not installed any plugins apart from what Newspaper theme recommended at first, such as Visual Composer, Social Counter, and Revolution Slider, but still it won’t work. If I disabled the mobile theme plugin, the site (the responsive version) loaded very fine. Please help.

And also I did not see any registration form, its only a Sign-in form. It says Sign-in/Register, but if I clicked it there was no Sign-up or register form. I have activated the sign-in/join modal in top menu setting. I only saw sign-in and forgot password link in the modal window.

Please advice. Thank you.

Hello,
The mobile version of the site cannot have a background. The background is shown on desktop and tablets landscape. Starting from tablets portrait, you will not be able to see the background at all as there is no enough space for it. The mobile background you added is probably for the menu but the background ad does not work on mobiles.
Thank you!

The error is still showing on my phone and on my daughter’s phone. It says:
wp booster error
td_api_base;;mark_used_on_page ; a component with the ID: td_remote_cache is not set.

And on mobile, the search button doesn’t work. you tap it but nothing happens. Same with the menu (tap the 3 horizontal bars – nothing happens).

Hello,

I have checked your site but could not see the error. The mobile menu works as well. Did you maybe have the mobile theme active and then disabled it? If this is the case maybe you can use this topic:

Thank you!

Hello,
The top menu was never intended to show on mobile so that is why it was hidden. it can be reactivated with css but I will need a link to your site so I can provide the proper css code for it.
Thank you!

Hi, I was wondering if it would be much work to affix the header ad when viewing on the mobile to the bottom of the menu.

This would keep the ad unit on screen at all times and hopefully increase our click through rate and general ad exposure.

We currently use the “Always Stick” menu and would like to basically attach the ad unit to the bottom of this. Would that be possible at all?

Hi Team

Great theme and great functions, thank-you so much. I’ve had a character encoding issue that I’ve been tying to work out for the last few weeks and just can’t figure it out. The weird characters are not in the database and they’re only appearing when viewed from mobile devices. We’re not posting from Word into the text editor, and I’ve checked (best I can) that all of the character encoding everywhere is utf-8. I’m guessing this isn’t theme specific as thee’s reports of this all over the place for WordPress, but I cannot find any that are specific for mobile devices. The symbols show up in embedded twitter posts also, which makes me think it is on the page rendering side.

I do not have the mobile theme activated as we want the content of the live site to show.

The link is https://ninetyminutesonline.com.

My best guess is some sort of plug-in conflict, but I’m hoping you guys may be able to help. Here’s the list of plug-ins installed:

-Auto Post Thumbnail
-Block Bad Queries
-Category Posts in Custom Menus
-Disqus Comment System
-Envato Market
-Feed Them Social
-Jetpack
-Share Buttons by AddThis
-Shortcodes Ultimate
-Slider Revolution
-Swift Mailer
-tagDiv Social Counter
-tagDiv Speed Booster
-W3 Total Cache
-WP Crontrol
-WP Missed Schedule
-WP reCaptcha Integration
-WPBakey Visual Composer
-Yoast SEO

Big list I know, but I doubt there are many thee that could cause an issue on the rendering side. We’re also running CloudFlare, however the issues existed before we added the CloudFlare configuration.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, both are my blog views on Opera Browser. We can’t read anything. This is mobile menu background, and we can’t go to the homepage, article post and other. There is no any button.
How to fix this problem?

I have asked two questions and gotten 0 replies on both of them. This is not “theme support”. I have received no support for any question.

On Android mobile, the menu does not come up on the home page when you click the three lines to bring the menu up. It works like 40% of the time. Also, on Android, you can’t click “more from author” on mobile. It just takes you to the top of the article. On Apple mobile it works, but it doesn’t on Android. How can I get the menu to always work on Android and the “more from author” section to work on Android?

Also, how come my sidebar won’t stay fixed on desktop?

Essentially, on my new website’s mobile theme I cannot make the footer disappear (not the subfooter, that’s fine). I’d upload screenshot, but it doesn’t let me here. Let me explain: It’s shows my logo, an unclickable “about us” button and “follow us” between my content and before my subfooter.

Now, if I remove my logo altogether on the site, the logo in the footer disappears. If I turn off social icons, the “follow us” button disappears. But I cannot make the “about us” page disappear and nor do I want to turn off my logo altogether. Please anyone help me!

My about me page is called “about” and not “about us” additionally. So frustaring!

Steps I tried:

1) Cache is turned of so all changes appear immediately (but did a cache reset just in case, to no avail)
2) Went to theme panel >footer > turned off footer and even tried turning it on and trying different variations
3) Went to theme panel > mobile theme > made sure no footer menu is selected.

I basically tried going to and configuring every footer or logo related page in theme panel but nothing solved the issue.

The issue is not with the logo only, but the specifically that the footer in the mobile theme does not disappear. In the customize view of my site it’s not visible.

Theme is version 7.4

I’d upload a sceenshot but I can’t here unfortunately.

Anyone can help with this? Would be much appriciated. 🙂

Hi Catalin,

I increased the parameters and added the code

define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M' );

The problem still persist for the footer mobile menu links, contact us, terms of use, etc. on the mobile phone. There is no issue if the footer mobile menu is removed.

I understand that Visual Composer, page builder does not work on mobile theme, so I changed the content to a regular page content. Still can’t resolve the issue.

Any other suggestions to resolve the issue is appreciated.

Thanks,

Nik

The mobile main menu and mobile search is not working on Radass.com. We have the mobile plugin turned off as it kept displaying the mobile site on desktop. The site is still mobile responsive and the menu and search should still be working. Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Hi guys,

We’ve been dealing with a recent mistery in our website running Newspaper, GoalPoint.pt.

Suddently none of the category links work, both on web and mobile versions. Either it’s a category landing page or even the search page, all we get is a blank page when trying to view a category url, coming from the menu or article category tags clicks.

The response is not empty (there is actually a significant amount of code in the response, up and including the custom JS code stored in the theme panel).

We checked the apache logs as well as the wp debug log and there isn’t anything recorded in terms of errors.
The website is currently running on wp 4.6.1, newspaper 7.4 (we just updated to see if it sorted the problem). However the exact behaviour was evident with v7.1.1.

To make it even more misterious: we have a staging version running on a private server with the exact same setup (same theme and WP version plus the same set of plugins) and… we don’t get that error, all category links work fine.

We are clueless, can anybody help out? Thanks
