Hello,

there is a problem with this menu: https://share.cleanshot.com/7ZpVFKBj.
We haven’t changed anything, we have all left the mobile configuration by default, why is there a 404 error on this?

The website is https://youpi.news

We disabled all the modules for testing and that does not change anything.
We do, I think this code is useless at all in our case:

<!– section menu –>
<div class=”td-mobile-content”>
<ul class=””><li class=”menu-item-first”>Click here – to use the wp menu builder </div>
</div>

could you tell me how to remove it?
or how to make sure that this one does not manage thousands of errors on our site.

thanks for the help

Hello everyone,
I would like to raise a concern regarding my website. When I go to my “About Us” page in the mobile version it shows nothing. But the desktop version works properly. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? Additionally, the sub-menu pages under the “More” section are not visible on the mobile version. Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue?

Website URL: http://www.cycloto.com

Kind regards,
Khan Mohammad Imran

Hello,

I just have 3 settings left (redactor-ai.com) for wich I can’t find out “how” :

1- I have set the sticky menu on large screen https://www.screencast.com/t/E8z0xA2XZ9. However the sticky menu works only on mobile, not on large screen. What did I do wrong ?

2- I am trying to give more opacity to the mobile background menu, or to add color, but I can’t find out how : https://www.screencast.com/t/lO7iwOnGDTZ

3- There is a gap between the pricing table and the nearest component : https://www.screencast.com/t/5sb1Niigf. It looks like there is a gap in the row, and I can’t find out how to close this gap : https://www.screencast.com/t/qLEbYgwwRfuc

After this I should be done :).

Hi Bettina,

Let me restate the problem. I want to make the Main menu visible on the mobile view tool. I am using TD live demo in this case for ease of understanding.

Main menu https://paste.pics/49ac80fe0ab5b705c0b1e92de49d9b7e

On mobile view, I want to keep 2ndry menu in its place as of now but want to make the main menu available somewhere in the header like here https://paste.pics/9ea293983bc30be6a81796857a06be29

The current menu in mobile view with 9 dots on the left side, we like it and don’t want to touch it.

Pls advice.

Hello!

If you click here: https://prnt.sc/NaESqv_NoQz2, then you’ll see the mobile menu if you set it up.
Click on the mobile viewport while you edit the homepage with tagdiv composer and set your mobile menu already built in Appearance -> Menus.

Thank you!

Hi Bettina,

Before writing to support, I made several experiments to make the global menu visible on mobile view too but nothing worked. Later I came in here to get a solution. I hope you know how to overcome this issue.

The live theme demo for Lifestyle Pro by tagDiv also doesn’t show the menu on mobile view. I just want to make that visible somehow. The one left to the logo is fine, I am happy with that.

TD live demo without mobile menu https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_lifestyle_pro/

pls guide.

Thanks Calin.

On the hamburger menu background: Is there a way that we can add a class to that DIV that holds the background image on the mobile hamburger menu/search menu? I don’t think we can set a defer value using CSS and having to write JS to find it will likely incur even bigger penalties in PSI.

On the images on viewports such as mobile, being too big:

Do you mean loading the original template as a mobile template and swapping out those values in Flex Blocks? I’m try to avoid separate mobile templates, as it easily doubles my work and it becomes ever harder to maintain two versions.

Hopefully in the future a dropdown per viewport inside the theme will allow us to choose which size to load. 😉

Kudos on the theme, btw. It’s stellar!

I want the header menu to be fixed even when scrolling in both the PC and mobile versions.

Hi Bettina,

Thanks for sharing those details.

I don’t like overloading the site with extra plugins so my expectation is just to use the same site theme for cross-devices.

What I noticed in method 1 above for the Lifestyle Pro theme, the primary menu doesn’t appear as shown in the screenshot I shared earlier. Pls guide how to make this visible for all screen sizes.

FYI, I have installed the mobile theme plugin. Then under Theme Panel > Mobile Theme > Header > MAIN MENU > selected the same menu that appears on the desktop site. But still doesn’t show any. See here https://paste.pics/f6652c91b63ea3721f356ab38fbe07c7

The site is on the local wamp server.

Highly optimized and clean responsive design theme gets me 84 on Google PageSpeed mobile, but Speed Index (4.7s) and LCP (3.6s) is not good.

I can’t get find a way to reduce the unused (theme?) CSS/Javascript (1.2s) so I’m trying to optimize these:

1) Defer offscreen images 0.35s on <div class=”td-menu-background” style=”visibility:hidden”>
This is the background menu/search image on the mobile viewport:

Lazy Load settings/plugins for some reason won’t defer it.
How to defer it?

2) Efficiently encode images 0.25s on <div class=”tdb-featured-image-bg”>
The featured image is shows full desktop size on the mobile viewport:

On a desktop I show the 1920×0 version, retina quality for devices that support it.
The mobile viewport is showing the same big size, not a smaller version.

How to fix this? Maintaining separate mobile/stale AMP templates is not cost-effective/productive for most of us.

Solved! When I unpacked the header menu Sticky, I saw the mobile menu.
By the way, can’t both PC and mobile menus be fixed?

hello. I can see it fine on PC, but the top menu is gone on mobile.
When you first enter the mobile, it appears for a moment and then disappears.

Hello!

We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:

1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages

3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to disable the Mobile Theme plugin.

If you want to keep the mobile theme plugin, then you should choose the menu from here: https://prnt.sc/qOxOPNs-wZhj

Thank you!

Hi Thank you for your reply. I have now been able to link my “startsida” to the correct mobile page. The strange thing is that I still dont get that page on the mobile. Instead I seem to get some kind of generic page with the wrong header, three articles on top and then a long list under the title “latest news” (title is in english, despite my whole site in in Swedish).
What can be the problem?
I have Newspapers AMP and mobile page plugins activated.

Must I make some adaptions in the “mobile theme” menu in the theme panel?

Hello,

You can add the logo in mobile menu, only if you use modal popup -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
To change the font and color for the mobile menu please go to Theme Panel -> Theme Colors -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/0CvSgXp9H to set a background image go in Theme Panel -> Background -> Mobile menu/mobile search => https://www.screencast.com/t/uvDejzbX to change the font from Theme Fonts => https://www.screencast.com/t/ANBQe7hQhJd

Thank you!

Yes, it worked.

Also, I wanted to show a logo on top of mobile menu, but I don’t know how…and change the style of the font, line spacing, etc… How can I change that?

I think I see where the confusion is coming from. There appear to be 3 versions of my mobile header. The ones that are there now have the wrong font, and I can’t figure out how to apply the right one. The menu is fine, but the header font is changing in the wrong direction. It looks like we need to eliminate 2 of those headers and just keep the one with the correct font.

Hi,

How can I change post content color, title color, and other elements like author, date, tags, related posts? I am using mobile theme to display amp content but I couldn’t find any option to modify these elements in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Theme colors. There are options only for menu, footer and theme accent. I have set these as I wished but the post content and other elements still have the default colors.

I also tried to install standard pack plugin and change the default colors for the elements but it didn’t help.

Please help.

Hi Calin,
Thanks for your reply. In that case, you might want to consider updating your documentation:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-theme-colors-introduction/

In Newsmag > Theme Panel > Theme Color, there are 4 areas to manage colors for your website:
“General theme colors – Set or change colors for the Theme’s accent (hover, links, buttons, Ajax load animation color) and Background.
Header section – This area allows you to set or change colors for the Top Menu (Background, Top menu text, Top menu text hover, Social icons, Social icons hover color), Main Menu (Menu background, Active and hover, Menu text color), Mobile Menu / Mobile Search (menu bar background color, menu bar icons color, background gradient color, text/icons color, active/hover text color, buttons background/text color) and Header (background color).
Footer section – In this area, you can customize the colors for the footer and sub-footer (both background and text color)
Content area – This section allows you to add or change colors for posts (title, blocks, author name, text, blockquote, and H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 Color) and pages (title, text and H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 Color).”
