Hello @madpixel!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. Edit the page with TagDiv Composer. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB; there you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and design for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
You can choose to use whichever one is more affordable and useful for you.
For the option 1 and 2, you need to deactivate the Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
I need to understand how I can set the theme for the mobile version and why if I set a theme from the tagdiv it is not visible in the mobile version. Is something overwritten, is there another setting somewhere?
Thanks.
Hello,
I’m sorry but maybe you didn’t understand how our theme works, but we’ll try to help you.
1. Usually, the ads are set in the element AD BOX, and you can remove it, edit with tagDiv Composer, select the Ad box element and with right-click you can delete it => https://www.screencast.com/t/2GfCVx9BCAw7 or with drag & drop place it into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.
You can add a sidebar like in this guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/sidebars-tutorial/
We have some settings for the rows and different stretch sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/bsbB5P97A
2. I checked and seems you have the mobile theme plugin activated, but the cache plugin doesn’t recognise the mobile version and desktop version.
This problem is caused by the cache plugin. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please make sure you have enabled the mobile cache if the plugin has this option
3. Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose what mobile version you want.
The AMP works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you donât use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
4. Please follow the steps from point 1 to delete the ads.
Thank you!
I am using Newspaper theme for my WordPress website, but have deactivated tagDiv Mobile Theme.
But every time the newspaper theme is updated, tagDiv Mobile Theme is automaticlally activated.
Need to way to disable this automatic activation , as it hinders my page layout on mobile.
this problem is appearing in the ads that I placed manually. I think it is more to do with changing the ad sizes manually in the theme panel. https://imgur.com/P38nPXt. please take a look at the image.
What size ads, should i should. suggest me the size that is fit for desktop and mobile
Hi!! They are appearing fine in the mobile devices, but in the desktop, they don’t look good. I place the ad code provided by the google adsense in the ad section of theme panel. I want to know, will I have to make changes in the theme panel to make them of ideal sizes or will i have to make changes in the ad code provided by the google adsense
Hello,
I published a new post on my blog. However, I came across several issues.
1. I have ads turned off in my theme panel however, I had to remove them manually from the post page using the Tagdiv Composer. When I did:
https://snipboard.io/IZsX0E.jpg
The post stayed like this. The content is not wide enough. I want to push the most popular suggestions further to the left and spread out make my images and content on a wider area.

2. The article when suggested on my homepage does not display any image. How do I fix this.
Link: https://wirefray.com/
3. My mobile page breaks down very often and becomes like the following:
https://snipboard.io/oR8tDJ.jpg
How do I permanently fix this? This happens very often but gets fixed automatically for some reason. I keep seeing this inconsistency in your theme.
I am really sorry to say this but I am really disappointed with the user experience so far. I keep encountering problems like this over and over again. I had to reinstall my WordPress quite I few times because I failed to implement AMP with your theme. I faced this same problem with my mobile page over and over again then too.
4. I want to permanently remove all of your own promotional ads from my website. How do I do it?
Thank you for your time.
Regards.

Hi,
The social icons from the mobile menu are coming from the Theme Panel -> Social Networks -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/4wubwgL.png remove/edit them after your needs.
Thank you!
Hi,
Yes, you can only use that one, but if you use a mobile theme or a mobile page, problems might arise.
Thank you!
Hi there, with Wp rocket I boosted my website to maximum level.
I have 94/100 on mobile and 100/100 on desktop.
My only problem is the LCP of 3.1 on mobile.
I investigated the problem and I found this:
1. This path is not used by the site because Page speed insight say me to delete unuseful Javascript p-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js
2. The first content of the page is the block with the preview of article. Its class is entry-thumb td-thumb-css td-animation-stack-type0-2
So my question is:
1. Can i delete the file on the path that I mentioned in the first point?
2. How can I preload the class of the second point?
Thank you so much
Hello,
Unfortunately, another option is only to deactivate the mobile theme.
Thank you!
Hi,
The theme builder can be suppress from amp, this should not affect the theme.
Unfortunately, for ads I checked the documentation and the only section where I saw ads mentioned is this -> https://wordpress.com/support/amp-accelerated-mobile-pages/ -> https://i.imgur.com/jAXOy2p.png
Thank you!
hi calin, is there any way to use ads in apm without using the mobile theme?
Please Answer this question too. AMP showed the error with tagdiv composer too.

Hi ExtraSportz,
To show ads on amp we recommend to use the plugin with the mobile theme plugin and you can set the ads in those places -> https://i.imgur.com/TCu1ARK.png
If you choose to use only the amp, then please do those settings in amp -> https://i.imgur.com/ifxtyRy.png but the problem is that you can’t set ads, because the plugin do not have a places for setting them.
Thank you!
Hello,
The mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
So, if you want to have this option, you need to disable the mobile theme.
Also, a workaround can be to add the events calendar on the page, and on pages, you can disable the mobile theme. You can disable the mobile theme plugin on the pages from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
Thank you!
Amp plugin showed me the error with tagdiv composer. But I can not disable it right.
I also want to know, can i use amp plugin without the use of the mobile theme?
Will it work fine?
How to show ads on mobile after activating the amp. As it is not showing the ads on the pages
I installed amp without installing mobile theme on newmag theme. But in active and suppress section of the amp plugin, it showed me certain error in a few plugin that are not compatible with APM. If I suppress those plugin in that section.
Then there are some plugin which i used to insert the analytics and other codes that are important to track the activity on my website. if I suppress them due to error, will it affect my data tracking?
Please help me understand how to deal with it.

This page looks fine on desktop, but on mobile, if tagDiv Mobile is active, nothing shows up, only the footer.
How can I fix it? I neeed the mobile theme for the menu customization đ
thanks for help
There are not any optimization plug-ins running on the site. Only the pre-packaged plug-ins included with the theme. The desktop version works perfectly. This only is occurring with the mobile AMP version.

Hi,
The mobile theme plugin is a special plugin that should be used only on normal blogs where the posts are not locked.
If you are using the opt-in builder you should use the responsive version.
Thank you!
Hello Dear TagDiv Team
I have some issues, I have activated the theme on my website https://wikisantri.id/ and it works in my browser. –> https://ibb.co/D1bPhyk
But when I use another browser like incognito or mobile version the theme disappears and looks like at this URL: https://ibb.co/LPR6B50
Any idea why it happens? please help
The mobile theme does not work correctly, it does not show me the lockers in the articles and the iol TAG DIV for the pages does not work … how can I solve?
Hello,
These suggestions were added to our list, however since the mobile theme must continue to be a light version, I’m not sure if they will be implemented.
That option is available in Theme Panel â Mobile Theme -Excerpts as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/eEWblGin
Thank you!
Hello,
A, B) You can do this for responsive version only if a cloud templates it is used or the mobile theme plugin, unfortunately with the standard header templates it is not possible. For a cloud template, all you need to do is to edit the header (for this you can edit the homepage) select the mobile view port and set the menu that you want to be used on mobile -> https://i.imgur.com/TWLzEAr.png -> https://i.imgur.com/zkBWXfA.png
1) The menu on the standard header can be changed from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/sJotuYE.png and from appearance > menu -> https://i.imgur.com/LaLCw4D.png
2) Indeed this can be done only with a cloud header and it can be edited/set like in above example.
I hope this will help you!
