Calin,
2. The tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin has been enabled, you may have seen a cached version of the Forum. Please refresh the page. After updating F5, it becomes like this: https://skr.sh/sXCnVhprM3Z
The question was how, with the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin enabled, to make a separate site category with a Forum. https://dev.giport.ru/forum did you use the adaptive version of the site, not the mobile “tagDiv Mobile Theme”?
But the news categories https://dev.giport.ru/news and articles https://dev.giport.ru/sovet We continued to work through the tagDiv Mobile Theme.
I am not including the AMP version.
=====================
Hi,
1. Just to clarify, the Newspaper theme offers three options for mobile display:
– The responsive version
– A dedicated mobile page template
– The tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin
This means you can choose how your content is displayed on mobile devices, depending on your preferences and needs.
2. Regarding the link you mentioned, it’s unlikely to be added specifically for the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin. This is because there are two other supported mobile versions: the responsive layout and the mobile page template—both of which are compatible with the plugin you referred to.
If I understand correctly, the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is no longer being used. In that case, the site should display the responsive version instead. Based on this screenshot (https://i.imgur.com/P1GEByS.png
), it appears the forum is currently using the mobile page template. If that’s the case, you’ll need to edit it using tagDiv Composer to include any elements you’d like to show on mobile. Alternatively, you can disable the mobile page to fall back to the responsive version.
3. I understand your point, but unfortunately, the decision isn’t mine. 😄
Thanks!
Hi, Calin
Thank you for the quick reply!
1. Of course, the tagDiv Mobile plugin and the amp plugin have been disabled and even removed. I wrote about this in the first message. I’ve already dealt with the problem myself. I think this will be useful to many, because I have encountered similar problems with people after removing the tagDiv Mobile plugin.
You need to delete the “Mobile Template” in this place. https://skr.sh/sXC1bg0kOan which is unclear when it was created there. )
2. On this point, you did not understand my question. I understand that the dfi plugin tagDiv Mobile is not supported by a third-party Forum plugin from WpForo. Although it’s strange, this is also one of the best forum plugins, can you adapt your plugin to their forum?
But I was asking how to make the Forum directory now. https://dev.giport.ru/forum didn’t use the tagDiv Mobile plugin, but used the adaptive version of the site? There must be some kind of hook in this regard, and you should have foreseen it. Your tagDiv Mobile plugin cannot support third-party plugins for themes, product catalogs, forums, etc
. There may be other catalogs on other sites that are better displayed through the regular adaptive version of the site.
3. A strange argument for such wonderful developers of the best WordPress theme.)
1 GB of disk is enough for 2000 screenshots if you limit the upload of files weighing no more than 500 KB.
If screenshots are not deleted, people will not post the same problems less, because screenshots can help you understand the essence of the problem and their solutions. But OK, I get it.)
Thank you for your efforts and the best theme for WP!

Hello,
1. To have the responsive version, please make sure that the tagDiv Mobile theme plugins are disabled and removed, also the amp plugin if you are using.
2. The form will not work with the mobile theme plugin, you should use the responsive version.
3. Unfortunately, we have to use external platforms to provide screenshots so that our server is not overloaded in a short time.
Thank you!
Hello, Simion!
1. Tell me, please, after disabling and even deleting the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, my website on mobile devices continues to show the title from the mobile theme, and sidebar blocks appear instead of the content. https://prnt.sc/Ekgttv5v4YeH
All caching plugins are disabled, and the plugin for the mobile theme has been removed. How can I return the site to its normal display?
Sample page: https://dev.giport.ru/news/society-news/lq-111-letnyaya-yaponka-katalas-na-velosipede-do-glubokoj-starosti
2. When the mobile theme is enabled, the forum is not displayed.: https://prnt.sc/x50-QgWRSGp1
How to make some categories https://dev.giport.ru/forum was it displayed on mobile devices in the regular version?
Maybe in a child theme in a file functions.php can I add some kind of hook?
3. Could you upload screenshots to your server on the forum? After a few months, the screenshots on prnt.sc they become unavailable. And you very often show solutions to problems there.
==================
Hi,
The strings that can be translated can be done from the theme panel > translations – https://forum.tagdiv.com/customize-a-translation/ if the string text is not there, please use tagDiv composer, edit the page/template and select the element, after that, check if the element has any input to set/edit the text, something similar to this – https://i.imgur.com/g66T5l3.png also, if you can provide a link were I can check teh text I cna let you know the exact steps to do.
The footer situation, use tagDiv Composer to edit it, select the mobile viewport and select the row/column holding the footer content and check the layout tab and the settins for layout https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
I had the mobile menu turned off on the theme panel. User error haha.
Thanks for the help!
Hi,
The menu js seems to be loading on the website https://i.imgur.com/elyxcRp.png
Can you check the theme panel settings, go to Theme Panel > Header > Mobile header – https://i.imgur.com/o9wfKx6.png
Also, please do a test using only tagDiv plugins to see if the problem persists, if it persists, please make a full backup of the website and contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and please provide temporary wp-admin and cPanel access to investigate the situation.
Thank you!
Hi,
The social networks from the mobile menu can be removed/add from Newspaper > theme panel > social/apis under social networks – https://i.imgur.com/03ZD3Bq.png. Unfortunately, for the “Mobile menu” element the social networks do not have an option to set the order, but if you choose to create a popup menu, you can create a page with the menu elements you want and use the social element that allow you to set the social orders – https://i.imgur.com/gahlUIp.png
Thank you!
Hello,
I have started seeing this URL [https://glamsham.com/url/to/amp/document.html] in my search engine console [https://ibb.co/bgG5pNVH] lately. Is it related to the tagDiv mobile theme. What can be done about this. Kindly guide.
Than You
Nitin
Hi,
Newspaper theme has a responsive version, a mobile page (a separate page only for mobile) and a plugin tagDiv mobile theme (this will not display the sidebar and the content for pages should be set in the mobile editor).
However, because you are using widgets for the sidebar, the above solution will not work. If you want to have a different order of the elements in the sidebar widget, what you can do is:
– create a new widget that will be displayed only for mobile on hompages (hide it from the css tab so that it is not visible on other viewports)
– use the mobile page, here you can replace the current widget with the one you want, or you can remove the widget and add the elements with the composer tagdiv in the desired order
Thank you!
Hi,
That space is coming from an ad , when you scroll down and up after a few seconds, the ad will be displayed. https://i.imgur.com/a5qIf6p.png
If you want to change the widget position, what you can do is to use tagDiv Composer and use the settings for row and column on the mobile version to reverse the columns inside the row. By doing this, you can make the sidebar display first https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Just to make sure that I understand correctly, in the first image provided, you have an image from the mobile version and the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin, to display ads on it you need to set the ads in the mobile theme in the theme panel – https://i.imgur.com/wnGpwtd.png
Also, on desktop, the ad should be displayed using the ad box element that can be set using tagDiv Composer – https://i.imgur.com/nSFvDN6.png
Thank you!
Hi,
If that code should be run only once in the page ,I think it will not be easy to make the code to work in the header, since the theme is using 2 separate headers, one for desktop and one for mobile.
Please set the code on the desktop version and please provide a link to the website. I will try to see if I can create a custom css to display that row on mobile (please add a custom class on that row to be easier to be trigger – https://i.imgur.com/hofM57F.png ).
Thank you!
Hi,
There is a difference when the AMP version is used. Also, we usually recommend to use the responsive version and the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin should be used as a template for AMP in case this is desired to be used (choose option AMP only) and make sure that the amp is set only for articles and the redirect option is disabled from it – https://i.imgur.com/IiPreFk.png https://i.imgur.com/6XNP9tX.png
Thank you!
Thank you!
The default mobile theme menu doesn’t display content (links and social icons) on the post page when the Mobile + AMP option is selected. Only the overlay background appears. On all other pages, the menu works normally. There appears to be some incompatibility with AMP, as when I switch to the Mobile-only option, the menu works correctly.
Hi,
Please check now, it should be use the mobile theme only on amp and I also disabled the amp redirect from mobile to amp – https://i.imgur.com/zIAZqu6.png
Thank you!
Hi,
I see in your screenshot that you do not use the responsive version of the theme, you are using the tagDiv mobile theme plugin, if so, then for the mobile theme plugin, you’ll need to set the ads in the theme panel https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ https://i.imgur.com/XJ5w6An.png
Thank you!
Hello, how are you? The ad banner is not displayed on the mobile version (https://imgur.com/a/EGGYNbN). How can i fix it?
Hi,
Our theme has a responsive version and this can be adjusted using tagDiv Composer and selecting the mobile viewport – https://i.imgur.com/OqvurDH.png All elements that have a left border in front of the option is are options that can be set individually on each viewport – https://i.imgur.com/i19CBqk.png
Using the tagDiv Mobile theme, you’ll have only the options mentioned in our guides https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Do you mean that I should deactivate the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin? If I do that, my website doesn’t show up correctly on Mobile. It’s a jumbled mess.
Hi,
If I’m right, you are using the mobile theme plugin, please disable the plugin and the responsive version should be used on mobile and the mentioned problem should be resolved.
Thank you!
Hi Calin,
I think I might have a similar problem. I noticed that several important WooCommerce plugins do not display on the product page when using the TagDiv Woo plugin on desktop – for example, WooCommerce Product Bundles, other bundle plugins, or the YITH Countdown plugin. Running these or similar plugins is important, but most of them do not support a shortcode workaround.
What can I do? What could be the issue? It’s clear that the tagdiv woo theme is not handling this correctly because everything works fine on Mobile Theme (mobile) and with other classic themes.
Thank you!
Hi Julie, hi Calin,
Thank you both so much for your quick and helpful replies – that was exactly what I needed!
@Julie – your tip about checking the Theme Panel → Background & Social Links was spot on. Really appreciate you sharing your workaround!
@Calin – the screenshots were incredibly helpful and guided me straight to the solution. I’ve now completely removed the background image and social icons from the mobile menu – all done cleanly via the Theme Panel, no extra CSS needed. Perfect!
Big thanks to the entire tagDiv team for your great support and such a flexible, powerful theme. Keep up the awesome work!
Best regards,
Greg
Hi @Greg,
The mobile menu you are using can be changed from the theme panel. From there, you can change the background image – https://i.imgur.com/R9eoHMz.png the colors – https://i.imgur.com/O5c2ANA.png and socials – https://i.imgur.com/Ot9CUS0.png
Thank you!
