Hello HRHQ!

What I can suggest for your ads is to set an auto size for them and not a fixed height and width in order to display in place in the div(box). If you have many ads, then the score can not be 100% because this will decrease your page speed. For slow images, as a suggestion, disable the lazy load animation from the theme panel.

Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.

Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

Hello,

For mobile version to set the social icon you need to go in Theme Panel -> Social Networks -> Social Networks => https://i.imgur.com/WSWpH9w.png -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-use-the-header-builder-and-tagdiv-cloud-header-templates/

Hi Calin,
We did it! with your guidance now our app loads things as we want it, but still we have a black bar on mobile view – but no bar isvisible on desktop mode.

and also we made the modifications to the following files.
wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_page_generator.php

wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/parts/header/header-menu.php

and trying to fix the instagram issue – I uninstalled the td editor and reinstalled. then the changes were gone. How can we keep this away from being erased when ever we reinstall it or update the theme and plugins?

Hi all,

I’ve activated the Newspaper Mobile theme plugin on our site https://madinthenetherlands.org/

I deactivated it on the homepage and it is not active on the static pages either. Which is how I want it. The only problem becomes that the mobile header active on the homepage and pages does not include the mobile menu or search functionality that the blog pages have.

My goal then, is to have the mobile header with menu which appears on the blog pages to appear on the homepage and pages, without having to activate the mobile theme on those pages.

Hope this makes sense.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks so much for your help,

Karin

Hello @mydigitalland!

When you use Mobile Theme then the pages will be overwritten by the plugin. In order to use AMP, you should install the Mobile theme and AMP plugin. Please make sure you downloaded the right AMP plugin which is installed and active and you’ve set the option Mobile + AMP. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/

Hello @theurbanist!

If you want to use a mobile page, then you need to assign it to your homepage. For more information about this mobile version please take a look in this article: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/

Please make sure the page is not built with the TagDiv Composer. In this case, the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.

You can resize the view of the elements because the settings are responsive which means the values will be applied on that viewport only: –> tablet version: https://www.screencast.com/t/YUVUcyrgh –> mobile version: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. Please note that you need to check every page to make sure they are responsive and look great on every viewport.

Also, you can have different header on every page by assigning a different header to the pages. Or only one by selecting a global header.

Hope that helps you!

Thank you!

Hi,
This problem is usually from the cache plugin that doesn’t recognize that there are two themes, one for desktop and one for mobile version (mobile theme plugin).
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, please make sure that you are using a cache that can different the mobile version from desktop version, a tested cache plugin is WP Super cache, here is a guide with the settings that need to be made for this plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi,

The above issue is resolved with technical support.

Now, I have deactivated two plugins “All in One SEO” and “tagDiv Mobile Theme”, And Also with the Active only “AMP” plugin, the mobile view is not working properly.
please review a video link: https://www.screenpresso.com/=jBCqe

– AMP plugin does not work properly with tagDiv page builder.

Here is some issue list:
1) marquee tag in above header.
2) Header and footer not set properly.
3) Image not load.

So can you please guide me on how can I fix these issues?

Notes: Now I have deactivated the “AMP” plugin.

Thank

Hi radanoid,
I just checked the documentation for the Jetpack for GDPR compliance and it looks that this is set using widgets. Now when you are using the mobile theme plugin, this will not use the widgets, therefore the GDPR will not be display.
If you want you can try a different GDPR plugin -> https://popupsmart.com/blog/best-gdpr-plugins-for-wordpress
Thank you!

Hi thumbdevice,
Can you please provide some more details about the problem, some screenshots and a link to your website will help a lot.
Also, the mobile theme plugin will change the website layout and of pages you’ll need to use the mobile editor to create a page content (for homepage will be display some grids and the latest posts).
If you want to use the responsive version, then use the mobile theme only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/q7j4eAU.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!

Hi Stanford Nix, you are not looking in the correct place, you need to do this using an editor (for example plugins editor) or via FTP/cPanel, from your screenshots, I see that you check it in the website source page. That is only to see the code from that page, not to change it. The changes must be done in the theme and plugins files. Also if you didn’t do that before and you do not experience with this is not indicate do do it, because, you can damage the website. Also, when you want to make change sin the theme or plugin require to have some skills and to know what you want to achieve, so you will know what you need to change and how.
In our theme for the mobile version the sing in and join modals are called using js and are call the links ids -> https://i.imgur.com/4Xrda1h.png what you can do is to remove those ids and set instead of id a href with a link to the custom page where you want to redirect for login/join -> https://i.imgur.com/FX8pJyE.png Now this example will work only for the mobile theme plugin. For the responsive version you’ll need to make the changes -> https://i.imgur.com/5qdneqp.png
I hope this will help you!

Hello Nirav Vyas!

When you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.

A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.

Thank you!

Hi OTsupport,
I just checked your website and this is look norm ale. For the mobile version it is used the responsive version of the website -> https://i.imgur.com/TQk6KAg.png. It was not suppose to be like that?
Maybe you enabled the mobile theme plugin, only then the mobile layout is changed and it is displaying only posts.
Thank you!

So I did additional testing today. If I have the tagDiv Mobile Theme and Official AMP for WP activated, it stops the header/menu from presenting. I’ve turned them off as a result but this seems to be counter to what the videos suggest to do. So I’m confused why that is affecting things.

Additionally, I’ve created mobile pages for most our pages. I can get the header/menu to work for the standard mobile layout (e.g., iPhone). But when I go to do the tablet/sideways mobile version in a mobile page, the system is killing the normal version. I can’t set both without killing the other. I’m totally perplexed about what’s happening.

On top of this, pages that that are standard and done through the TD Composer have a slightly different header/menu. I’ve just confused how to make this all uniform like it was before in mobile.

Hello,

I would like to hide the “hamburger” / menu bar and also the search bar on mobile, I’m using the Ink Parlor prebuilt website (with the original header) but I didn’t find any settings in the Theme Panel for hiding this, do you have a solution or the CSS code to type ?

Second point, about favicon, in the Theme panel, I uploaded the favicon in 16×16 and also all sizes asked for iOS Bookmarklet but on iPhone, the favicon doesn’t appear, do you have a solution ? favicon https://imgur.com/a/fUA6ibs

Hello! Why the banner for GDPR is not visible on the mobile theme of this site – zonaburgas.bg. I use a mobile theme with AMP, plugin for GDPR banner – Jetpack, through the widget – Cookies & Consents Banner (Jetpack). The banner appears on the desktop version of the site, it is not displayed on the phone. Please tell, if there is a better option for gdpr banner, which is not through the jetpack plugin. Greetings! I’m having all sorts of problems with the Newspaper theme. I was trying to adjust a mobile page version of my homepage. I was attempting to work on the mobile header to see if there were other options. In the process, I must have tapped something in the Manager window that overwrote my whole regular mobile menu/header. I kept trying to revert. Then I deleted the AMP and mobile plugins to see if that fixed thing and then tried to reinstall them to see if that fixed anything. But then I got an error that won’t let me reinstall AMP. So I’m totally lost on how to restore everything. Now all of my mobile pages are broken.

This was the original situation: https://ibb.co/Y34RBt5

This is what happened to the mobile pages before I tried to delete and reinstall mobile and AMP: https://ibb.co/zrZB3XF

And now this is what my mobile website looks like: https://ibb.co/tMc9XZm

Please help me get back to the original version.
