Hello,
Usually, this problem is when the mobile theme is displaying on the desktop, then you have a cache conflict, the plugin for the cache that you are using do not recognize the mobile and desktop cache. We recommend using the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please make sure you have enabled the mobile cache if the plugin has this option
Thank you!
Hello,
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Better deactivate the mobile theme plugin and see the results, and assign the mobile page for page, like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/lektAhyjd
Also, clear your cache.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Thank You For replaying But I tried all these steps but nothing showing on mobile but the default black version also I made all pages and templates for mobile theme what should i do ?
Hello!
If you use mobile pages, then please deactivate the Mobile theme plugin and see the results!
Thank you!
Hello!
We’re fine, thanks.
Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need a responsive version or to build mobile pages, then please deactivate the Mobile theme plugin and see the results!
Thank you!
Hello,
With tagDiv Composer, you can add the element Single Post Modified Date in Single Post Template and
you can change the additional text in “Last updated on” => https://www.screencast.com/t/EvfUQMfzkd , and the Single Post Modified Date will show you the last time you edited that post => https://www.screencast.com/t/j74uz43paZj
Also, for mobile theme plugin you need to go in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Post Settings -> Post and Custom Post Type => https://i.imgur.com/VyjFndG.png
Thank you!
Hello!
I tested on my end the latest version and there is no problem activating the Mobile Theme plugin.
Please check this article: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/there-has-been-a-critical-error-on-your-website/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!

Please check the following pages in desktop and mobile. I can’t understand why the contetn is gone in the mobile theme.
https://www.binarias.org/
https://www.binarias.org/estrategias/
https://www.binarias.org/brokers/
https://www.binarias.org/criptomonedas/
Seems like it is affecting pages, posts are working fine in mobile…
I have another webiste with same issue.
THanks
I have also installed the Magazine Pro theme, I have placed the Google Adsense file in several of the places that your documentation says but it does not work in the web version and in the mobile version it does not work in the spaces that have the templates provided for advertisements. My website is http://www.portalparados.es
hello, how are you doing ?
this is my first topic and I am new , I have customized my theme and also installed the plugins for mobile theme twice and re built mobile templates but nothing working on mobile can you solve this problem ?can you access to my theme ?
Hello team,
I comment.
I wanted to know if in the Newspaper theme there is an option to make an element float on the screen when scrolling in the mobile version of the screen just like the top menu can do. (I use the TagDiv composer)
If the answer is negative, they know or recommend a plugin through their extensive experience with other users, that works well with Newspaper and completes this functionality.
I have a website focused on reviews and, therefore, on call to click and it would be very useful for me. Also, your new approach to WooCommerce would also be useful for adding floating “Add to Cart” buttons.
I’ll look forward for your answer.
Thank you for your time

Now, you can use which one is more suitable for your needs. In your case, I recommend the mobile pages(2), so you can have a different page than desktop version editable with the TagDiv Composer. All what you should do is to create a mobile page and assign it to the desktop page.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can disable the mobile theme plugin but it depends on what pages you want, for example, you can disable it on the homepage https://imgur.com/OTAJQSS
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

Hello,
Please provide the link to your website where is this problem.
Also, please let me know if you have mobile theme plugin activate => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme
Thank you!
The setup for my newspaper magazine is near perfect and I do not want to disable the mobile theme plugin because of this, but I am unable to achieve what I want.
My entire site is fine with the mobile theme being shown on the mobile device but I just want a specific page that I’ve designed to be shown on mobile devices and the mobile theme plugin is preventing it.
Is there a way to setup the mobile theme to just SKIP a specific page and that this page is being shown with the full tagdiv composer?
Please I need an urgent response on this matter, I can’t promote my company because the promote page is not being shown at all while mobile theme is active and without the mobile theme my entire speed goes down on mobile.
Hello,
I verified your website and seems you have the mobile theme activate, so you need to set the menu in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Header -> Main menu => https://i.imgur.com/AjjhTfB.png
Also, please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

Hi there,
I genuinely used to have a recurring nightmare about updating the Newspaper theme.
Each time that I get an update, something goes wrong, by the way, the most evident problem is that, even if it was disabled, the amp plugin got activated.
So, mobile users see a completely wrong version of the website.
I’d like to know if it’s a knowing bug or there’s something to know about the amp stuff settings, to avoid it (but I mean, if the amp part is disabled, why it goes activated, presumably by the theme version update?) ?
Thank you for your support
Hello!
Unfortunately, AMP is faster and works better only with Mobile Theme, because it is not compatible with cloud templates.
From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit from AMP.
Check our documentation about this plugin here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
1. For logo size for desktop we recommend using is 272 x 90px, and for mobile 140 x 48px, but the logo can be edited with tagDiv Composer and you can set the logo size => https://www.screencast.com/t/Q49YDqYM -> https://www.screencast.com/t/8xupUNEjSS3 – https://i.imgur.com/hAU7jre.png
2. Please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the row from content and set the layout to 1/1 => https://i.imgur.com/kzD3Q20.png and the layout to https://i.imgur.com/u1YeLUo.png
You can find more information about the row here https://tagdiv.com/flexibility-rows-columns-newspaper-theme/
3. Please edit the page, scroll until the footer and select the text => https://i.imgur.com/NPtQ766.png and you can edit it.
4. If you upload the font in the theme panel, to apply to your website you need to set it with tagDiv Composer like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQvA64uTLkI -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Hope this help you!
Thank you!

2. Please try to import the header and footer from here => https://i.imgur.com/jDsslQi.png -> https://i.imgur.com/89ztoQB.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Jtb3hoO.png and make them global => https://i.imgur.com/6qg5arf.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/footer-templates/ -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-manager/
3. Unfortunately, is not possible to change the Big Grid Flex 5, but you can use it for mobile Flex Block => https://i.imgur.com/hRAQWNc.png
Thank you!
Hello,
I saw you use templates from Theme Panel, for example for categories => https://i.imgur.com/KxoDDu6.png, please import a template for categories, posts, to be able to edit the layout/design with tagDiv Composer.
Also, how to set the ads please check these articles

Hi,
Thanks for adding the Modified date on the mobile theme. However, after adding it, Google does not show any dates from our articles on SERPS.
The website is a big one and indexes immediately.
This might be the way the modified date is added to the Mobile theme. It is just a plain date and very different from how it is implemented on the Desktop version.
See the difference in the attached pictures.
As you can see here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/appearance/publication-dates
Google recommends we “Make your dates and times consistent.”
This is not consistent in our case where the Desktop and Mobile version differs.

Hello,
I am using Magazine PRO that doesn’t need the Mobile Theme plugin, how do I deal with AMP because the Mobile theme plugin is not activated?
Regards.
P.S. I get errors issue from Google Search Console
Greetings!
I just invested in Newspaper and I’m loving it so far!
However I’m rather to new to WordPress and web design in general, so I have some quirks I can’t figure out by myself. They should probably be easy enough to solve – but not for a newbie like me. Also, I can’t really code. So any technical advice you kind people might have will probably fly over my head!
Hope you can help me out!
1. My logo gets blurry when viewed on my mobile
Viewed on a desktop it looks fine, but on my phone it looks blurry. What can I do about this?
This also happens when tried to create a mobile page. Site URL: http://www.cogitate.no
2. Blog post text gets aligned to the left in desktop- and landscape view on an iPad.
I would very much want it to be centered. For reference, I’m using the pre-built Art blog pro theme. Though I stripped this down to almost nothing. However there are still some empty columns that I can’t remove for some reason (?), so maybe it has something to do with this? This is what it looks like: https://i.imgur.com/9WpAm2a.png
3. How can I edit the text in the bottom bar
I think the one that comes with the Art blog pro theme is clean and simple. But I don’t want it to say “Newspaper WordPress Theme by TagDiv”. The name of my website alone would be preferred. I guess this could be easily solved? It looks like this now: https://i.imgur.com/1lR2ao7.png
4. Installing a new font
I bought a font from Commercialtype.com. It’s a .woff file, so I guess it should be fine. I thought I managed to install it, but it just doesn’t look right. This is the instructions that came with the font:
@font-face {
font-family: ‘Lyon Text Web’;
src: url(‘LyonText-Regular-Web.woff2’) format(‘woff2’),
url(‘LyonText-Regular-Web.woff’) format(‘woff’);
font-weight: 400;
font-style: normal;
font-stretch: normal;
}
.LyonText-Regular-Web {
font-family: ‘Lyon Text Web’;
font-weight: 400;
font-style: normal;
font-stretch: normal;
And these are my settings font settings in the Newspaper theme: https://i.imgur.com/Z7KAFnT.png
What am I doing wrong? 🙁
I appreciate having a forum like this where I can turn to when I have questions! Finding out all of these things by myself has proven to be very confusing.
Kind regards, Roger.
