Good Day Gentlemen and thank you so much for the awesome theme!
I have an issue where the author name is not disabled in the theme
The second issue is where the search is overlapping the menu in the mobile version
I cannot access the menu because search bar is triggered in the mobile version
The third issue is that the theme is not supporting RTL. Can you enable it in the next update?
Regards,

Hello!

As you can see here on the Waterfall tab, the issue is coming from an image that is not loading: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/newsnama.in/XXUaM39V/ : https://www.screencast.com/t/Q4RIEfes Please check in Theme panel – Background – Mobile background and see if this image is set and remove or re-add it.

Thank you!

I am sorry I guess you didn’t followed my query properly ,currently I have disabled my mobile theme but when I enabled it then I’m facing the problems.

Currently the page that is being displayed are the mobile pages that are separately designed , I was expecting to have to the same format when I activate my mobile theme .

I was concerned about mobile theme because my current page speed is so slow in mobile compared to desktop.

Please look into this , and If you want to view my site on mobile theme please let me know a time and date , so I can activate at that time such that my potential visitors will not have any inconvenience browsing through my site.

Good morning,

Thank you for the reply.

Here is a screenshot of how should the mobile template look like:
Homepage
https://ibb.co/LrYgMxT
https://ibb.co/ydSX4f4

Page ‘excursion’

I also deactivated and deleted the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP, and followed the exact steps as in the video tutorial for mobile theme.

Many thanks,

Will

Hello!

Unfortunately only in posts and pages the Mobile theme can be set to be without mobile theme. You will have to disable the Mobile theme plugin in order to see the correct template.

Thank you!

Hello,

It looks like Google Analytics fails to track AMP visitors when the tracking code is added from Theme Panel >> Mobile them e AMP Analytics.

Newspaper theme – V11.2
WordPress – 5.8

P.S. – I am using third-party plugins to track Google Analytics, and it’s working well.

Hi! How can we disable the mobile theme for our category pages?

Thanks!

Hello!

In order to see the page you have created you will have to remove the Mobile Theme plugin. Please take a look at our video guide here to understand more about the mobile options: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY&t

Thank you!

Unfortunately that doesn’t answer the question 🙁

The main page, looks great in mobile view. I don’t have any mobile plugin active this is just the tagDiv theme, naturally in mobile view. It looks great! The problem… why is it on new pages, they are NOT in mobile view? Why are they showing up like the main page?

I found a workaround, but I don’t think this the right way… how is the main page developing the mobile view and new pages… aren’t?

Hey there I have already disabled the featured image option that you have said , but sill I’m able to see the featured image when i’m using my mobile theme.

Post featured image settings

As of now I deactivated the mobile theme , to do not interrupt the potential visitors , If you could give me a date and time I would activate it again so you could have a look at that . I hope you understand my problem .

If you want to look at current status of my site here is the link :- https://codersalgo.com

Hey, I have created a page using tagdiv composer and I want to display it using mobile theme. As mobile theme does not support tagdiv composer if I create a mobile template for this page, will it work with mobile theme?

Just a note, I tried using the /amp/ slug and ran into the issue with pages not generated properly and then found this, I think you might want to make this more prominent that only the /?amp=1 is an option. Perhaps a little notation on the Mobile Theme settings? Just a thought.

I was just reading: https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/

“If you want to display the same elements on both mobile and desktop, don’t use the mobile theme.”

I’m feeling dumb… I removed the mobile plugin, but I’m still having the issue.

I don’t want to use the mobile theme.

How do I get the mobile view of the new page to match the content I have selected? Just like the main page? How can I just disable the mobile theme allowing the main theme to takeover the mobile design?

Sorry Vlad.

In this case is not the Mobile Theme: I tried now to deactivate the plugin and still I get thos 2 errors in the Editor (and I cannot choose Category because they are not listed)

I think is TagDiv Composer

Hello,

Theme mobiles would seem to pose a lot of concerns at the moment:

But the problem disappear if I deactivate all TagDiv plugins (composer, cloud library and mobile theme)

Hello!

If you’re using Mobile Theme plugin this option is not possible. For more information please take a look at our Mobile video guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY&t=9s

Hello!

Please remove the AMP and Mobile theme plugins and reisntall them. Let us know if the issue is still there.

Thank you!

Hello!

This issue is because in Mobile theme, you have to recreate your pages using the mobile editor, this is found when editing pages at the bottom of the page: https://www.screencast.com/t/PaGpYD2l

Hi,

That is quite a drastic decrease in score, very unusual that it happened after updating the theme.

Have you maybe tried clearing the cache and maybe purging the CDN you are using? What about maybe testing with the CDN disabled if possible.

Browsing the website is quite fast, but the score is low. Also sometimes when I run the test, there is an error https://i.imgur.com/Bi02HqA.png Could be an issue with the test or maybe the website.

I see the test mentions some basic optimization should be made, nothing major happening on the website https://i.imgur.com/fvadim8.png

Are you using any optimization plugins at this time?

On mobile what were you using? The responsive version, mobile pages or the mobile theme? A good score can be achieved using either mobile pages, or the mobile theme.

Thank you!

Hi,

I see, so you do not want to display a featured image in the mobile theme, not in the post pages and not in the modules. Is this correct?

If you do not see the setting mentioned by my colleague, that means the standard pack plugin is active on your website. Which means that you must use the general settings from here instead https://i.imgur.com/1KOLWCv.png

Could you also please provide a link to the website? So I can look at this https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-ZBymhpaBOB62cpWjiOlgXDVA6voP-t8/view

Let me know.

Thank you!

Hi, I know this is an old thread, but I had run into the same problem. I just figured out that I can simply disable lazy load for all images of a specific size instead of for classes like the mobile version problem.

I changed the image sizes that the mobile version plugin uses by editing the mobile theme files such as single.php. There was an issue with the mobile theme using big images by default that slows down a website. The only problem is that I had to add code into the mobile functions.php, and I have to keep the scripts backed up because it’ll all disappear after the plugin updates. Really wish TagDiv would give us a child theme for the mobile plugin.

So, I simply added this into WP Rocket lazy load exclusion settings and now lazy load is disabled for all images of this size:

-533×261.jpg
-533×261.webp

It isn’t the best method, but it’ll have to do.
