Dear sir,
i had create so many time but not work properly. please sent me clear video on how to setup newspaper theme.
Hi,
Problem 1:
I have a security issue with this theme. If I enable login then I will be able to log in with the administrator account without using two-step verification.
Problem 2:
I want to create a child theme and remove all codes I do not use such as javascript and css.
For example, I want to remove the Login and sign up the code in the theme, I also want to remove the header from the theme since it wraps everything on the page which makes the page a bit slower and not as smood, I would rather implement my very own custom header that will work equally on both mobile and desktop.
I know if I’m going to do this then this has to be done after every update something I’m comfortable with.
Screenshot of something i will like to remove from the files: https://www.screencast.com/t/XZnqZPmBpze
i dont even want to use the mobile theme as i think it looks very basic, i want it to be removed from my site and i have tried to deactivate and it still appears on most of my pages.. i want the site to look the same on the phone as it does on desktop website. how can this be done please. http://www.kosvino.com
by the way i dont even want to use the mobile theme as i think it looks very basic, i want it to be removed from my site and i have tried to deactivate and it still appears on the other pages.. i want the site to look the same on the phone as it does on desktop website. how can this be done please.
Hello,
When you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Also, usually, the problem is from the cache plugin used, because the mobile layout will have a different design and most of the cache plugins do not recognize this and provide the mobile version for desktop (or vice versa).
Also, if you use multiple cache plugins this problem may occur.
We tested and recommend the WP Super Cache plugin https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
Thank you!
Thanks Bettina,
I disabled Gutenberg and the mobile theme works fine.
I will not use Gutenberg for a while, till, may be, another update is available
Thanks
When i activated the mobile theme for my website http://www.kosvino.com it simply showed the desktop site on the homepage but for the rest of the pages its the mobile theme and i have no way of editing them? what is going on please
Hi Bettina,
Thank you for your answer.
Indeed, as my website is a media, I can’t let the grey screen displayed to my readers. That’s why I disabled the Mobile theme.
I’ll try what you asked to and come back to you.
Thanks
Hello!
I just checked your website and it seems the Mobile Theme plugin is not active.
Normally it should work after installing the plugin.
The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have problem with my mobile theme on http://www.24hdz.com
The website doesn’t display (https://imgur.com/a/rhp4lCG). The screen stills grey.
When I disable the mobile theme plugin, the website displays the desktop version responsively.
I tried to reset the cache but still doesn’t work.
I tried to disable JetPack and enable it again, nothing changed.
I also disabled AMP plugin.
I deleted the mobile theme plugin and installed it again. Same problem …
Any solution about this ?
Thanks
Hello!
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Please note that Mobile Theme can not be edited with TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please check which template you have assigned for the header in mobile version, desktop version and set it one for all.
You can try our newest tool called tagDiv CSS Analyzer which comes in handy to resolve some of your issues. Take a look at the video guide here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
“This custom tool performs an automatic test to find missing CSS rules applied by user interaction. Moreover, you can manually interact with a chosen section/component from the page while the tool records all the involved CSS. It will generate the final CSS file for this page and also will split the rules in Critical CSS to be loaded in the website’s header.” ( https://tagdiv.com/whats-new-in-the-newspaper-theme-10-4-update/ )
We tested our tool on our demos, and we have such great results!
Take a look in this topic because it could help you: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/css-analyzer-step-by-step-and-doubts/
Thank you!
Hey, I’m using the Newspaper theme past 1 month. Everything is working fine for me, but i dont know how to use the mobile theme.
Let me explain my problem.
I activated the mobile theme and AMP plugins, after that whenever I add the new page, edit in WordPress itself and down there will have a mobile editor option.
But my question was.
For the about and contact page, I need to import a page from the cloud template. I did too, but the pages are not showing on mobile. what can I do now? how to make to show that on mobile
Hello,
Seems you have the Mobile theme plugin activate, when you install and activate the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Also, if you create a mobile page, please check if is set correctly => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
Normally, Mobile Theme should work very well with AMP.
I’m sure you have some missed configuration or a plugin conflict.
Please check first and then let us know about the results!
Thank you!
Hello!
If you want to hide that button on the mobile version, then try to add this code:
.td-scroll-up{ display: none !important;}
If you use Mobile Theme plugin, then you need to add this code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom code.
Thank you!
I want to remove this scroll up buttom from mobile theme especialy- https://prnt.sc/12mbg20
Hello!
You can have a sticky menu only in a responsive version or mobile pages.
If you have installed Mobile Theme plugin, then you can not modify or customize it so much because Mobile Theme has its own design template.
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
I just checked your website and seems now you have a mobile responsive version => https://www.screencast.com/t/vVwjCefeP

Hello,
Please check if you have set the Accent Color #fff, in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Theme Colors -> Accent Color and change it => https://www.screencast.com/t/u5RVLkSwnn
Also, you can make a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the problem persists.
Thank you!
Hello Team,
I want to have sticky menu in Mobile Theme but I couldn’t find the option anywhere in the mobile theme.
Now If I scroll the article the menu is hiding. If its sticky, the site name will be remembered by the readers.
It will be helpful for branding.
Can you Pls let me know how to change? or if you have CSS code also fine for me.
Thanks
Giri
Hello!
If you have Mobile Theme installed and active, then you can not delete some elements from there, only if you will find in the settings(Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme).
For more information about Mobile Theme, check our documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hello!
Follow these steps:
1. Please make sure you don’t have Mobile Theme active and installed.
2. Delete the picture from here if you have one https://www.screencast.com/t/p92bTtthec1c
3. Set the color transparency here: https://www.screencast.com/t/qUJGD1USs

Hello,
If the mobile theme does not load correctly, sometimes, can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
