Hello,
If you want to the responsive version, you can disable the mobile theme or use it only for AMP. => https://www.screencast.com/t/w0CjbwfBJk
If you want to use the mobile theme, and you have a few pages, you can disable the mobile theme individual per page => https://www.screencast.com/t/4dJW0Ck0q4jo
Or you need to make a new page content using an only mobile editor(you can’t use copy-paste)
You can find more information about the mobile theme in our documentation =>https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Hope this helps you!

Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
You are now able to create mobile viewport templates as you can see in our guide here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
! Atention ! If you are using mobile templates you will have to remove the mobile theme plugin and also at the moment AMP is not working with mobile templates.

Hello,
Do you want to remove a blank space? Because when I inspected your website, the mobile theme version displayed => https://www.screencast.com/t/FHARDN53sMx and I couldn’t inspect it, usually this problem is from cache plugins that do not recognize the mobile theme plugin, we recommend using wp super cache.
Also, the homepage that you have it can be edited using tagDiv Composer
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!
Have a nice day!

Hello,
You can create a menu in Appearance -> Menus => https://www.screencast.com/t/0CwzgIox
After you create a menu, if you use the mobile theme, go in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Header and select the menu that you created => https://www.screencast.com/t/2hBLffSqJn19, or if you use the responsive version, you need to use a Cloud Header edit with tagDiv Composer => https://www.screencast.com/t/SBRhmq0Uf1A , select the Phone viewport, select the mobile menu and add the menu create => https://www.screencast.com/t/J97qGHz42J8
Hope this helps you!

I have a black background on my desktop page, and apparently, on Andriod, the background is black on mobile. However, I’m my iPhone, even though I have dark mode on, the background remains white, even if I change it in the Theme Panel under Mobile Theme, it remains black text on a white background. Which is fine. However, the author box seems to still follow the desktop text colors and does white text on a white background. I can’t figure out how to fix it. I can change the color of the text for desktop, but no matter what I do, it won’t change on the iPhone mobile theme. GoingFor2.com is the website.
Hi there
I used a pre-made template (Gourmet Pro) and have replaced the header image in Theme Panel – Header – Header Background. I have set the settings to ‘No Repeat’, and image size at ‘Cover’
The image comes up horribly pixelised. The images are great quality. How can I fix this?
The Logo Upload and Mobile logo upload are also coming through quite pixelised. Again the images are at the specified sizes and do not look pixelised in the Media Library.
Thank you
Jade

Hello,
This situation appears when using the mobile theme plugin, this is a light version for mobile that it will provide a better speed, but you’ll need to set the page content using only the mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/tza7Da7E7DfJ and this content will be displayed on the mobile theme and AMP version.
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
Hi guys, I’m using the AMP plugin.
As you can see the colors (and layouts) of desktop and AMP versions are quite differents.
Post desktop mode
Same post AMP version
The colors in particular are quite bad.
I asked to the AMP plugin support and they told me:
It looks like you’re using the Newspaper theme by TagDiv, which features its own AMP templates. These templates use the same design and styling for mobile as they do for desktop. Your team developer should be able to assist with this.
How can i make the two versions the same or at least as similar as possible?
Thank you!
Hello!
1) Disable the “SHOW CATEGORIES TAGS” by accessing Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Post settings -> Post and custom post types.
2) Please try to add this CSS code in Newspaper -> Theme panel -> Mobile theme -> Custom CSS:
.td-footer-logo amp-img {
width: 189px !important;
height: auto !important;
}
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
For our “Pages” only, not posts, whenever the AMP/Mobile theme loads,the content is not shown, I checked HTML, there is no content in td-page-content in AMP.
Any clue why this could be?
Thanks.
Hi Vlad,
Thanks for your response.
Yesterday night, we were going through available google articles and found some suggestion.
It seems there is an issue. We have deactivated and deleted below two plugins and now mobile visitors are not directing to AMP.
1.tagDiv Mobile Theme
2.Official AMP for WP
Everything is working fine now. Just a one question, can you guy’s check on above two plugins (in next theme updates) as there seems code issue as these two plugging causing issues.
Hello,
I believe the tagDiv website or blog website is using Newspaper theme, and with that, I like to make a template via tagDiv composer that is the similar result in Desktop view and mobile theme (mobile and AMP version) to the following:
1:) blog homepage template layout (desktop view – from header to footer): https://tagdiv.com/category/blog/
2.) blog homepage template layout (mobile view – from header to footer): https://prnt.sc/wn8ika
3.) blog homepage template layout (AMP view – from header to footer): https://prnt.sc/wn8jk0
Actually I’ve tried making a template via Theme panel setting and tagDiv composer but can’t able to make it the same as yours… See the screenshot below, and how to implement those questions labeled in RED.
Thanks

What could it be?
Thanks
Hello,
You can try to add this code for the shadow => https://www.screencast.com/t/DI2uvVbO
.td-header-wrap {
box-shadow: rgba(100, 100, 111, 0.2) 0px 10px 15px 0px;
}
If you use the mobile theme, you can insert the code in Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> Custom Code => https://www.screencast.com/t/E6S87TVik4uQ or if not in Custom Code -> Phones => https://www.screencast.com/t/8yD6B5Ccj
Hope this helps you!

Hi there!
I am trying to use your mobile theme on my site but the mobile menu doesn’t work at all. I have followed your installation and recommendations but I cannot make it work to the point I have deactivate it for customer experience. Am I doing something wrong? Is there any solution?

Hi,
I think that you are referring that using the mobile devices the content from pages is not there.
This is because you are using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of the theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in the mobile editor and this content will be display on the mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also, you can show the responsive version on the mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on the mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be used only for amp version.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hello!
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with it’s own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Unfortunately, you can not customize your header in Mobile theme version like in your screenshot.
Thank you!
Hello!
This situation appear when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have do not has options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
I enabled the author name in the theme post setting and it’s shown as “Summarized and Translated by kbopping”. However, it’s shown as “by kbopping” only on AMP mobile pages. How can I show it as “Summarized and Translated by kbopping” on AMP pages like desktop?
Thank you!
