Hello, thank you for the code. However, I do not have that mobile theme section on my theme panel. I have tried adding to the custom css part but the search icon is still here.

I am not using the mobile theme, but responsive layout will show the search icon on mobile web.

Hi,
This problem is usually from the cache plugins that doesn’t recognize that there are two themes, one for desktop and one for mobile version (mobile theme plugin).
If you are using the mobile theme plugin, please make sure that you are using a cache that can different the mobile version from desktop version, a tested cache plugin is WP Super cache, here is a guide with the settings that need to be made for this plugin -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!

Hi inewslive, our theme is responsive, therefore if you are not using the mobile theme plugin , then the content from desktop should be display on mobile. Using that plugin will have only few posts and latest articles.
If there is still a problem, please provide a link to your website.
Thank you!

Hi there,

I have updated the main Nav menu on my website and changed it for the Web and the mobile theme. The web one if fine, but the mobile menu does not work. Whatever I try to set, I end up with a mobile menu that is not set and I get this message – https://ibb.co/6nsTSkg

– I tried setting it through Newspaper Theme panel > Mobile Theme > Header > Main Menu
– I also tried to set it via appearance > Menus > Manage Locations.

Same result with both.

I also noticed that if I update the same values through the theme panel, the saved entries in “Manage Locations” get removed.

How do I address this?

Hi,

If you want to use the responsive mode, please deactivate tagdiv Mobile Theme plugin.
Also for Instagram, please check Theme Panel > Social Networks and connect your account – https://forum.tagdiv.com/instagram-widget/
Let us know how it goes.

Thanks!

I am trying to make a recipe site with a few key functions but cannot get to grips at all with tagdiv composer. (I just don’t find it user friendly)

It’s a pizza recipe website so I want to create a home page with big category boxes displaying pizza types and the. Just a few options below to show features recipes and maybe popular ones.

Essentially the home page is what it’s all about and then when you go into each category you get all the grouped recipes.

I also need a good recipe widget which allows for all the custom taxonomies such as ingredients method, equipment used.

Finally it would be nice to have an option to submit recipes and have a user dashboard where users can manage their own, each recipe goes to pending and admin approve…. I’m guessing this is not possible as theme not built to accommodate this. I imagine the custom taxonomy is the same and would require 3rd party plugins.

It might be that what I’m looking for is outside of the realms of this theme. Essentially I’m looking for something like the Ranna theme in Themeforest but with the category home page I mentioned. It might be easier to buy their theme and integrate that as it is Elementor compatible and has all the other features built in… but it has a terrible mobile/tablet experience 🙁

Hi, My mobile theme is showing up in desktop mode.

Hi,
As I can se the problem with mobile ads is coming from those errors -> https://i.imgur.com/hDfERpy.png your ads code is not loading in theme.
For amp code, you need to set only the second code that is with the personal code, the first one is already set in our theme, therefore is no longer need to set it
Thank you!

Hi Guys

I am using the mobile theme (no amp) and all is well apart from I’ve noticed that the logo in the footer appears as a white box which means you can see the surrounding colour – it looks weird. The logo in the header is great (perfect size and padding etc).

I am sure I have a PNG transparent logo in the footer but i am not sure where I need to go to change the logo for the mobile theme specifically? Here is the logo in the footer on mobile as a screenshot example (the difference in colour is a lot more noticeable on the mobile than it is in this screenshot) https://imgur.com/a/3DaUlAj

Could you let me know where I need to go to make sure I have a png transparent logo set up in the footer on the mobile theme, please?

Cheers guys!

Hello, I have set the search bar at the right of the main menu to be hidden at:
Theme Panel > Header > Header Style > Search Position > Hidden

However, I can still see it on mobile web. How can I take away this on mobile too?

Thanks.

Hello !

You can do this but you will have to disable the mobile theme plugin in order for this to work. You can follow this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-editor-category-templates/

Thank you !

I am getting this error on my Google Search Console for the site running Newspaper theme (Tech Theme in Cloud) – http://prntscr.com/vlzwd7

How do I resolve this issue? I am using WP Rocket, Cloudflare, and Smush Free.

I did it but the adv isn’t showing…

in the general panel the adv script is present (on the desktop it works fine)

https://imgur.com/a/hYttmVa

I put the script also in the mobile theme field (https://imgur.com/YMcVC2L) but on mobile isn’t working (I imagine that the general script wasn’t loaded

on the AMP – as you know – you needd a script in the head section and a script in the body… it isn’t working… (https://imgur.com/k9MUvhl)

how can I fix it?

Hi,
I can see that now you have set the responsive version of theme -> https://i.imgur.com/sH1WvAe.png
Are you used the mobile theme plugin or the new option for mobile page ? Because right now is non of theme (it is the responsive version).
If you use one of the above options for mobile, please make sure that you clear you cache and Cloudflare (if you are using).
Thank you!

Hi,
The amp plugin can be use with our theme only in two ways:
1. If you are using the amp plugin with mobile theme plugin, then you can use one of these options -> https://i.imgur.com/CT67aRq.png
2. Without mobile theme plugin, but using this option -> https://i.imgur.com/7wa0jJk.png
For the moment the amp plugin that we provide works only with these settings with our theme.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,
Unfortunately this is the only documentation that we have right now, sorry!
The code set in theme panel> analytics/js codes> will be use for all theme plugins, including the mobile theme plugin.
Also for mobile theme if you select to use mobile+ amp or amp -> https://i.imgur.com/ysx1zI9.png then you can set the amp auto ads and amp analytics in those fields -> https://i.imgur.com/s0o8QlV.png the rest of ads can be set the same as for desktop version using this section -> https://i.imgur.com/BPYnFRw.png
Hope this will help you!

I have a custom post type, and in that there are articles i do not want to use the mobile theme, similar to how i can with pages, by setting tdm_status. Looking at the code, td_mobile_theme.php, it is using url_to_postid which doesnt work for custom post types. Is there a better way to exclude these cpt?

hi
the documentation is not so clear on how to setup the adv for the mobile theme

we have a script in the head section of the desktop site annd then we use the theme panel adv section to insert the adv script into the sidebar and so on…

in the mobile theme the adv head code is inserted? where heve I to put it because in the mobile theme there are just the position slot…

same thing for the amp adv: where have I to put the head script that let the auto ad code to work?

can you please provide a complete documentation? the one on the site is very poor
thanks

text-decoration: underline;
text-decoration-color: #f6a656;
}
.single .td-post-content a:hover {

Hi Jose, with the last theme version you can use the responsive version for mobile or you can try the new mobile page option -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ in this way you can make the mobile layout and content how you like using tagDiv Composer and without affecting the desktop version.
Thank you!
