There is AMP plugin wich works with Mobile Theme for Newspaper. Find out more about it here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ ; https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

Hello !
Mobile theme has a different non-editable design. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme. So you will have to recreate your page in the Mobile Editor at the bottom of your page editor : https://www.screencast.com/t/tvLnK0Ae.
You can disable the mobile theme on certain pages if you want by going here: https://www.screencast.com/t/HgVM9URqqIEa
You can find out more about the Mobile Theme options here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you !

Hi,
1. Unfortunately if you want to link the image to post as the title, then you’ll need to make some changes in theme core because the image was made to can drag the next post; also the changes will be lost after theme update.
If you still want to make the changes, those need to be made in this file -> http://prntscr.com/oqe61x -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/modules/td_module_slide.php
2. In order to make the category image to be full on mobile, you can check this code http://prntscr.com/oqe0vf
.category .tdc_zone .tdc-row:nth-child(2) {
padding-left: 0px;
padding-right: 0px;
}
The code need to be set in Theme panel > Custom code> Custom css

Hi,
In order to change the background image from the mobile menu and search you’ll need to go in Newsmag>Theme Panel> Background> Mobile menu/search background http://prntscr.com/oqd3i7
Thank you!
Hi,
From what I can see now the ads are appearing on your website on desktop and mobile too -> http://prntscr.com/oqd0ad -> http://prntscr.com/oqd0fa -> http://prntscr.com/oqd0sh -> http://prntscr.com/oqd11p -> http://prntscr.com/oqd1u1
Also if the code do not work on default themes, then the problem is with the code ads.
Thank you!
I tested the ad code in HTML widget with one of the built-in themes and it didn’t work either. This code is copied directly from adsense, so I can’t see why it wouldn’t be working.
If you’re able to send me your IP address, I can whitelist it and would you be able to take a look at the site for any glaring issues?
Also, although ads have appeared on desktop site occasionally, they have not once shown on the mobile version which uses the newsmag mobile plugin. Is this the same or a different issue?
Thank you

Hi! I am unable to edit the slide-in mobile menu of the main responsive theme from the Header Template section. How do I do it? I can edit CSS or HTML/PHP

Hi,
You’ll need to use the mobile theme with amp plugin, in this way you’ll have the mobile template on amp does not matter on the option you choose ( only amp or amp + mobile them ) ->http://prntscr.com/opwh8s
The Mobile Theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> tagDiv AMP Plugin Tutorial -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

Hi,
1. “when I check only for AMP, the system still generates the full mobile version of the site too (and all the clicks lead not to AMP but to the full mobile version).”
That is happen because the using the mobile theme with amp, the amp will get the mobile theme layout ( for both options amp only or mobile + amp ) also after you click on amp page/post you’ll be redirect to mobile version, the scope of amp is only to provide a fast preview to your web page/post not to navigate on amp results from google.
And yes, you can try others amp plugins, but we can not say for sure if those will work or not properly with our theme, the only one tested with our theme is the one that appear in Newspaper > Plugins -> http://prntscr.com/opwev9
2. Please try to regenerate the thumbs this should fix the problem
Thumbnails – Fix strange looking images on blocks ->https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
3. Unfortunately there are not very much options for mobile theme and amp, all the options can be found in Theme panel>mobile theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
tagDiv AMP Plugin Tutorial -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

Hi,
If you want you can try this custom cs that should fix the problem http://prntscr.com/opw3bv
.td-mobile-content .td-icon-menu-right {
display: inline-block;
}
And you have to paste the code here: https://www.screencast.com/t/J1Nxw5s5
Or you can make a theme update > https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Thank you Calin,
just your AMP solution doesn’t allow much…
Can I use another AMP plugin built for old Newspaper 8? With Drag & Drop AMP Page builder: https://ampforwp.com/themes/newspaper/
Your system looks pretty closed. It will work together?
Or just enough, can I disable / switch your mobile plugin?
Thanx a lot
Jan
Old asks: 1/ when I check only for AMP, the system still generates the full mobile version of the site too (and all the clicks lead not to AMP but to the full mobile version).
2/ photos in the AMP grid do not exactly fit the format.

here is my test: https://deeptravelinsider.cz/?amp
3/
Can I change the design of the body of the article for the mobile/AMP version? For example, if I don’t want a block with social buttons (or any other design) at the beginning of the text, or an entire section with the author’s name, sharing and categories, etc.
Hi, team tagDiv,
After the update, commenting the code on line 57 in td_ajax_mobile.php, as suggested by Calin in the his first reply(pls see screenshot), wasn’t working. It was not disabling the live search on mobile theme. So I commented the entire code(entire page). Is there anything that this code is responsible for other than live search on mobile theme. Or is it Ok if I comment the entire code.
Please let me know.
Thanks
Just updated the theme and the plugins but I see the
‘This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme!
Please make sure you’ve updated the theme properly! Follow this guide.’
message as you can see here:
https://nimb.ws/GEzU9A
Ho I can solve it?
Thank you, Francesco
Hi TagDiv Team,
Thanks for the recent update and for the hardwork and love you give to the Newspaper theme! I recently extended my support and hope you can help me with my simple problem.
I have added this CSS code in the Custom Code in the Theme Panel:
.td-post-content a:link {
border-bottom: 1px solid #05386b;
padding-bottom: 1.5px;
text-decoration: none !important;
color: #05386b;
}
.td-post-content a:hover {
background: #3da559;
}
I wanted to have vertical lines on each link on my website. But now, even the img tags are getting the border-bottom which doesn’t look nice on mobile.
Could you please help me solve this and know what’s the proper CSS so that the img tags don’t have the border-bottom?
Hello,
we are just building a website for a customer and found out, that menu items can’t be clicked on smartphones (not mobile theme). When I click on a menu item nothing happens. Does also not work on a normal desktop browser as soon as the browser window is small like on smartphones. See here:

Hi,
The amp version can be change only if you are using the mobile theme and chose one of this option http://prntscr.com/opfq3m ( amp and mobile theme or only am and responsive version ) the settings that you make in mobile theme will reflect in amp too -> http://prntscr.com/opfqmm -> http://prntscr.com/opfr1o
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Whatever the theme, the AMP page looks the same. It does not match the mobile theme at all. Same black bar, same font size, buttons, font sizes and element order …. Is there any chance to adjust any of this? And how?
Thanks! JS
Hello !
If you are using Mobile Theme plugin this option will not work. Mobile theme has a different non-editable design. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices.
