- TutorialsFrom WPBakery to tagDiv Composer
- TutorialsWhat is Ajax preloading?
Hi all.
I have good news I guess, so I am sharing it. Not sure what the future holds in store for me but as of now my site is working along with Mobile Theme. I faced the same problem of
“This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme! Please update your theme!”
While updating via FTP, I was getting “1 Failed Transfer”, all files except one were getting transferred. So I deleted the entire Newspaper Folder in Themes. Then I uploaded the new 9.7 Newspaper folder and there was no failed transfer. But I got another problem:
Not able to login using mysite.com/admin. From another support thread I got this: Login using mysite.com/wp-login.php. This worked. After login, I installed the Mobile Theme plugin and that too started working. My earlier customization of Mobile Theme was still there. Now I am back to normal, touch wood.
So, the moral of the story is:
1. Put the site in maintenance mode.
2. Use FTP and delete the old Newspaper theme folder.
3. Upload the new folder.
4. Login to the site using mysite.com/wp-login.php
5. Install & activate all new plugins including Mobile Theme Plugin.
I just hope I am not celebrating too soon.
Thanks.
We updated to new version 9.7 but when we activate the mobile theme we recive an error: This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme! Please update your theme! We uninstalled mobile plugin and reinstalled but still same message.
Enabling this option does not work: https://imgur.com/a/S6lKVos
It still shows the mobile theme. I only want that theme showing on AMP pages (which do not show).
I have disabled the mobile plugin until this and amp (see: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-not-appearing-in-sidebar/) can be fixed. Very disappointing as it was working well in 9.5.

Page is https://www.thenerdystudent.com
I get these two errors when trying to access from mobile. On desktop it is fine.
<!--
Error: <strong class="td-wp-booster-title">wp_booster error:</strong><br>td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_theme_plugins_setup is not set.<br>/home2/theneri6/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_api.php (rara-error)
-->
<!--
Error: <strong class="td-wp-booster-title">wp_booster error:</strong><br>Missing parameter: 'file'<br>/home2/theneri6/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_autoload_classes.php (rara-error)
-->
How can I resolve this?
Thanks

Edit: TagDiv composer is the issue here. However, apparently it must be enabled for the theme to work…
How can I show text from the post on the mobile theme? Ideally I would like it to look like the responsive desktop, however I need AMP enabled.
Thanks

Please update your theme!
If i now i use the latest activated theme.
What i must to do ?
Kind Regards,

I’ve never had composer installed until it bugged me today. Is it really required for the mobile theme?
Never used to be required, been using the theme for years without an issue. Really don’t like it as I am worried that it will delay pages from loading despite not being used, and like to keep the amount of plugins slim.
Thanks
@hahsiam Uploading the files via FTP and updating the core plugins from “Newspaper-> Welcome, did the trick for me. Just a 5 minute procedure, and no problems whatsoever, except of course from the Mobile theme bug.
This version of the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin is not supported by the current activated theme!
Please update your theme! on my site https://buddymantra.com/
The break wasn’t that bad for me. AMP still works and I’ve used the responsive site anyway. If you rely heavily on the mobile theme, I’d hold off.
Any ideas why my AMP view is not working if mobile theme is enabled?
My settings contain the following: http://prntscr.com/nd9sgh
If it helps: I do use cloud templates and have auto load next article to on, on desktop version.
Seems to appear when I disable the mobile theme. I have enabled AMP in the mobile theme using the Mobile+Amp option.

Hi,
Please provide me some screenshots with the setup you made for menu here is an example -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pCyvuj3NSf on mobile theme will appear only the menus from homepages -> https://www.screencast.com/t/0GWR3xqJJzcf mega menu will no appear.
Thank you!
Hi,
In order to add some css for tables to AMP you need to edit the style.php file from amp plugin, so you need to go in wp-content/plugins/amp/templates/style.php
If you want to ad the css for mobile amp you can set the code directly in Theme Panel>Mobile theme Custom code>CSS
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/IJmq2e0mK
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Tagdiv Team,
I have installed the Newspaper 9.7 update and got the Tag Div Mobile Theme error as I show you in the screenshot below.
Note that, I installed the Mobile Theme plugin from the 9.7 version package, in case you think I installed the previous one.

Hi,
The mobile theme is a plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se
Also please check our documentation for Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
I think that you are referring to those 3 blocks, for those you’ll need to have set seam feature posts (that have set feature category) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QsJ6ppY4
You’ll need to add some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/ if you do not have this category you can create it, just make sure that you set the category name to be
Featured
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
Please make sure that you have set the same menu for mobile theme and desktop.
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, please deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Hi,
Usually when the mobile version appear on desktop are some problem with cache plugin, please clear all cache and try again.
We recommend using WP Super Cache -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Make sure if you have followed the steps from this guide if you want to achieve good theme results.
Thank you for your understanding!
Earlier this month I posted regarding the loss of revenue on my site due to the current theme update. I requested for version 9.5 and Bogdan send me the files.
Immediately after the downgrade, my Adsense started to stabilize and my CPC is going back up again.
90% of my traffic is mobile and that contributes largely to my Adsense Earnings.
Lessons from this
1. The Tagdiv AMP plugin is better than the official WordPress AMP Plugin. The WordPress AMP plugin has many errors and I noticed my site speed was slow and some of the keywords went down.
2. The new integration of Mobile + AMP does not work well for me especially with Adsense. Adsense has AMP Ads well optimized for AMP. The new combination of AMP + Mobile theme limits me to one kind of Ads. I set that up and Google asked me to convert the non-AMP Ads to AMP Ads. (If tag div insists on this new setup, can we have space for AMP Ads? – Not the Auto AMP Ads section)
3. Site Speed – The WordPress AMP Plugin is not well optimized
4. I am a worried person because I don’t see upgrading to the newer versions of the theme. I will be left with the old theme with a plugin that no one wants to update (tag div amp plugin and mobile plugin).

Hi there,
Both my logo for the header and footer has disappeared on mobile devices?
I’ve tried uploading again via theme panel but it’s still not working.
What am I missing? It was working fine since launched but all of a sudden they are gone.
I created 3 static pages using HTML markup:
https://sciencehook.com/about-us
https://sciencehook.com/terms-of-service
https://sciencehook.com/privacy-policy
It’s looking fine on desktop but on mobile, it’s not showing any content except the Title.
Please check and let me know how can I fix this?
