Hi,
I have been trying to change some AMP settings.
This is the settings page –> https://www.screencast.com/t/klPekGTzwi0F
I’ve updated to 9.6.1 but I cant see this setting page on my WordPress.
I’ve verified that i have the right version by checking the ‘System Status’ in your theme.
Please help.
Mobile Search and menu background will not display. I’ve set background images in Themepanel, and tried to deactivate plugins and cleared cache. Nothing will do. Why do the images not display?
Hi,
If you are using the responsive mobile version of theme please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/top-barmain-menu-assistance-needed%E2%80%BC%EF%B8%8F/
Thank you for your understanding!
I updated the video so you can check it now.
Is there then anyway to delete the navigation menu and put a cathegory cloud on the mobile theme.
I thought that a simple menu would work either in regular version than in mobile, and only the content changes to a more plain and quick versión
Hi,
Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option, at the moment but you can try to follow the steps from our topics, from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-once-youve-gone-black-youll-never-go-back/
Thank you!
Hi,
Check that section from the Theme panel, from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/l4VVE8GD to have the right source of your desired logo which you want to display it on mobile devices.
Thank you!
The image issue is fixed now, the modules use proper thumbnails not resized full images.
It is true that some plugins may not work properly or at all with the mobile theme, and it does not have many customization options. Also it uses simplified predefined templates for posts, categories, homepage etc. These are the reasons why it is faster.
You could not use the mobile theme, then the same content from desktop will load on mobile.
From what I can see he website uses AMP – https://labussolanews.com/rimini/servizio-gestione-rifiuti-tariffa-corrispettiva-puntuale-online-i-numeri/amp/
It is also valid – http://prntscr.com/n41lrr
Google will index the AMP pages and display them in the search results
– http://prntscr.com/n41mzb
The official AMP plugin has it’s predefined template and layout, it has no settings for the logo, ads etc. With the mobile theme there will be ad spots in the theme panel. So ads while using just the AMP plugin could be added like this

In the cloud post templates currently there are no size settings for the ads. These may be added in the future. The solution is to use media queries

Hi,
I try to check your video, but this is not working -> https://www.screencast.com/t/BQcLQcs0e8a
What you do not understand is that in your mobile menu you have set links to go on pages ( and those pages need to be re-build with mobile editor that is way you see only the page title, those are the only “elements/parts” from mobile theme that need to be re-build ), if you set a different menu for mobile theme to go on some post/category ( the mobile theme have a default template for those and will get the content from post/category that’s why when you click on a post, or a category you are redirect to those. )
Thank you!
Hi,
At the moment, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to determine what items will look like on desktop vs. mobile, sorry! The default theme behavior, for mobile, is responsive mode. The desktop items will be displayed on mobile devices in responsive mode and the second method for mobile mode is the Mobile Theme which has another layout for mobile. At the moment, these are the only available methods implemented in our theme but in the future, it’s possible to be implemented another feature in this case.
Thank for your understanding!
Hi,
Unfortunately the child theme is only for theme itself, not for plugins theme, but there will add some more customization option for mobile theme in coming updates.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello, and kudos for the mobile and AMP updates. Works great!
I would like to suggest a feature:-A possibility to switch to a BLACK version in the mobile theme. And even on the parallel AMP page.
When people are used to getting the black version on desktop, it would be nice to offer them the familiar colours when they log on via mobile as well. Maybe some stylesheet that can be added?
Thanks.

Hi,
Yes, this is the effect of Mobile Theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using the Mobile + AMP the AMP design will be like the mobile theme design.
Also for the url/amp appear in source page, so google will still detect it.
for example:
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/HZ3jffxn4a
Please provide me a link were I can make some deep investigation, in this way I will be able to provide you a better answer.
Thank you!
Hi,
Roger [on almost all] that, except for the logos. You said that the logo is (somehow) there. The thing is that I don’t know how it got there. Where do you set the logo for the header and the footer in the Mobile Theme?
If you can guide me through how to set it, I’ll be able to figure out what is happenning
Thanks
Dear Catalin
Thank you again, is there any video for this documentation
https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/components/amp-auto-ads i am not getting where to add this code i mean in amp mobile theme files.
Thanks for your response. In the future also develop the possibility that the mobile plugin theme also works with thema child with some customization?
Thanks!
my site url is:

i select mobile theme + amp check: http://prntscr.com/n3pu6y
other setting; http://prntscr.com/n3puis
I have used it with the mobile theme only. But when I checked the amp page in desktop it throws an error. Now the issue got resolved after updating the theme to latest version.
Hi,
1)On the mobile theme, the first Featured Images comes from your featured posts. If you want to affect this section, you need to set up some posts on the Featured Category and set up your Featured Images with your desired ones.
2)Unfortunately, the theme does not have any such an option that allows you to change the layout of the mobile theme, sorry! If you do not like this layout, you can simply disable the Mobile Theme functionality.
4)The logo footer is there but you need to check the source of it because it seems not working, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/l13NvgEww
Thank you for your message!
So there is no way to prevent my .gif banner to load on mobile? Except using mobile theme.
The problem with the mobile theme is that the most of the plugin get deactivated and also I can’t handle advertising correctly. And of course I like the layout from the regular version more.
Anyway I tried to deactivate jetpack image optimization. I think the problem with larger image is gone. Can you verify in speed insight?
I don’t know to much about Amp. Is my website WORKING with AMP?
The amp, for example, is showed when click on Twitter shared articles right? The problem is that in the amp version I don’t see my full logo and, expecially, my adv like top article or bottom. Is there a way to show the same adv from regular version into amp version? Basically I’d like to make Amp looks like as similar as possible to the normal version…
Hi,
This was the developer decision, in this way they was able to set the “AMP” option to can set the AMP only on those pages/post you need.
Our mobile theme is in continue to evolve and I is very possible that in coming updates that option to be reintegrate in our mobile plugin.
Thank you for your understanding!
I just activated mobile theme plugin and amp as explained in this.
But when I access to site from a mobile device sometimes the amp pages appear, sometimes mobile pages. And there is no ?amp suffix on amp pages. When I use validator tool, it dosen’t validate any of them.
Hi,
First if you are using the mobile theme you need to set for each page a new content with mobile editor https://www.screencast.com/t/ebUIzt4se ( if you do not have any content in mobile editor then the page will be empty like yours ).
Let’s try to make a content for a mobile page togged, first set a content in mobile editor using only the mobile editor elements -> https://www.screencast.com/t/BPqBwYCpbDqa update the page and here are the results -> https://www.screencast.com/t/QFTi71JLkojW
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
After seeing your screenshots, I have noticed that you are using the mobile theme plugin and that why your mobile layout is changed. If you do not like it, you need to disable the plugin. That’s all! -> https://www.screencast.com/t/lLCClbRtlRaZ and the normal theme layout will be switched to the default one. For more details about the mobile theme, please check here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
