Hi,
is it OK if I use codes for Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrika local analytics not with Newspaper mobile theme AMP Analytics section,
but with original WordPress AMP Plugin Analytics?
As I could see there is only one place for GA but not for another analytics in mobile theme AMP analytics section.
Or is there any posibility to paste other code simultaniously with GA within Newspaper mobile AMP analytics?
Many thanks,
Denis
Hey @bogdan-b
TY for quick respond,
BTW Mobile theme accept my edits by API, problem shown on Backend(Dashboard) 🙂
Hi,
I have sent the login by e-mail. Apart from this, I want to know that, what if I don’t want to use tagdiv mobile theme and still want to apply adsence auto ad or normal ad code to the AMP page.
Currently, I am using WordPress official AMP plugin without tagdiv mobile theme. And I can’t see any option to implement ad code in AMP version of the theme.
Thanks
techiebraj
Hi Calin, thank you for your follow up, let me answer.
SHOW ON AMP is active
DISABLE ADMIN BAR ON AMP is active
That give us:
– TONS of error alerts from the Google Search Console (a drop in the search rankings is probable)
– We are unable to use critical plugins like DISQUS
– Mobile Google Analytics issues. Guideduchien wrote: “Before i had a bounce rate average on mobile 86 % and page views per session 1,28. But now with tagdiv mobile theme and amp plugin, bounce rate is 1,96 % and page view per session 2,32, it’s not possible.”
– Reported problems with the speed of the site
– Post views not counted on mobile
– Invalid AMP links
Your fix does solve the Internal WP error messages, but nothing else.
Regards.
Thanks for your guide, it worked fine & the Mobile theme’s CSS customization option helped me to stylize WPForms on mobile theme as well 🙂
Dear Bogdan, we understand your explanation, but the results are there; SHOW ON AMP is useless (unless you want to lose search ranking), yes, you can turn it OFF, but then you have other issues.
My traffic is already 60% mobile (I’m pretty sure most in this forum have similar numbers), so I need a theme with a good to great mobile versión, the current version of your theme is not.
Please, let us know if you acknowledge this situation.
Is there a way to exclude certain pages from the mobile theme?
I need to use the mobile theme to get the correct AMP functionality for posts, but I need some pages to use the responsive theme to maintain plug in compatibility.
Hi,
Besides the fact that you have activated the amp, you also have to activate the mobile theme and then activate the AMP functionality from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7iyT8SMWnkVB Also, for more information about the functionality of AMP with Mobile Theme, please check the following useful guide from here -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
I do not quite understand what menu you want to hide; if you are using the mobile theme you can chose what menu to set on mobile.
Please provide some screenshots and some more details.
Thank you!
I nowhere said i’m completely disappointed with the theme just for some minor reason, i’ve been using Newspaper since years & i’d love using it in future as well, just getting some issue with 9.6 update, which seems to be gonna sorted out with this reply. 🙂
Hi,
Please use the AMP testing tool when checking if AMP works
– https://validator.ampproject.org/
If you installed both AMP and mobile theme and activated the setting in the theme panel, there would be no problem. Let us know. If there are problems, post a link to the website so we can take a look.
Thanks
Hi,
Yes, this hook is already used in the file mentioned: https://www.screencast.com/t/AMzOzDc3W
The theme api system was never tested on the mobile theme plugin. Sorry.
The mobile theme cannot be edited using the main thee api implementatuon presented in our guides.
As for the sharing options, you can select which ones to show or which ones to not show from here: https://www.screencast.com/t/tScGvxeiTIn
Thank you!
Hi,
Please notice that you can customize your menu items on mobile if you are using the Header Manager. Please check the following documentation from here -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-customize-the-header-manager/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you do not use the mobile theme plugin, then it is possible with a cloud header template. when building a cloud header template, it is possible to display different content desktop versus mobile. So for example you can show one element on dekstop
– http://prntscr.com/mwczdv and a different one on mobile – http://prntscr.com/mwczrm
The mobile menu element has an option to select the menu it will display
– http://prntscr.com/mwd0kl
This is similar to the mobile theme functionality, which has an option to display a different menu on mobile.
Let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hello,
The mobile theme implementation is exactly the same. It means you did not use the mobile theme before using it now. Please read this guide to learn what the mobile theme changes:
https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
As for the amp validation please read this guide: https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure that you activate the amp from mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6m5bxthx8ec and you check the box from general Amp -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WEyXhNzY
For this error https://prnt.sc/mupdgl here is the fix.
You’ll need to go in wp-content/plugins/td-mobile-plugin/td-mobile-plugin.php
and at the bottom of file set this code
$theme_options = get_option( 'td_011' );

I am using the mobile plugin and on some posts I have used Java script for maps etc and they show fine on desktop but only show as a basic text link on mobile
Hi,
I checked a post from your website, seems to work at the moment
– http://prntscr.com/mwcesk
For pages be sure to enter content in the mobile editor for each page
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also I see something is not working quite properly on your website. Sometimes the mobile version loads on desktop, this should not happen. In most cases when this happens it is caused by a caching plugin or caching implementation. We recommend the WP Super Cache when it comes to caching.
Thanks

Hi,
It is true, the mobile theme doesn’t have any font settings. Maybe in the future we will add some settings in the panel. Everything in the matter is predefined. Do you use just the mobile theme or AMP as well? For what elements do you want o change the font and how exactly? Maybe there is a way, let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme, please notice that the mobile layout will be automatically changed to a specific layout. For more information about our Mobile Theme, please check the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Hope this helps!
If is not what you mean, please provide more details about your problem so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Hi,
If you are using Newspaper 9.5 or 9.6 and the responsive version of theme, not mobile theme, then this is possible using the header builder.
Check out the New Header Main Menu with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/header-main-menu-newspaper-theme/
Get Slick Designs with the new Mobile Header Feature -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-header-newspaper-theme/

Hi,
The initial AMP plugin we released was designed based on the first version of the official AMP plugin for WordPress. Even though it was a tagDiv plugin, it still required the API of the official plugin. The changes came from the official plugin as they limited the theme support in the version we used and instead of updating it, they launched a new version with another, better implementation. They also announced the initial release will shortly become deprecated. This is why we decided to abandon our initial AMP plugin and use the new AMP implementation through the mobile theme. The new version required a specific theme for it as it would not have worked through the standard theme. There was no decision to take, unfortunately. If we have not made this step, soon the AMP plugin would have stopped working once the official AMP plugin implementation we used became deprecated.
If you chose to use the mobile theme with amp, all you need to do is to make sure that you make the settings like in our guide.
Mobile Theme: Automatic Optimization for Mobile with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-automatic-optimization-for-mobile-newspaper-theme/
How to Make an AMP ready Website with Newspaper Theme -> https://tagdiv.com/amp-newspaper-theme/
Please make sure that you activate the amp from mobile theme -> https://www.screencast.com/t/6m5bxthx8ec and you check the box from general Amp -> https://www.screencast.com/t/WEyXhNzY
In order to have the 3 posts you’ll need to make sure that you have some post in feature category -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/44kBTEzkJNy
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/dpVV27TTe
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/27QB6dv0VGs
Also is not need to use the mobile theme with amp, you can sample use others amp plugins and use the responsive version of theme.
If you want to go back to v9.5 you can get it from here
Thank you
The footer logo code working.
1. But the mobile theme not working properly in homepage. When I directly go to link, it’s showing fine.
But when I search for the site name from google and then head over to the link from the search result, it’s opening the homepage in normal mode. (I’m not using the AMP)
2. How can I get the font style in mobile theme and link underlines same as actual settings?
