Hi,
Also if you want for mobile version you can use the mobile theme in this way your website will be more faster on mobile devices.
Thanks!
Hi,
That snap is set by default when scrolling up, I could give you a simple code to cancel it. Enter it in the custom CSS section of the mobile theme – http://prntscr.com/mgu36b
.td-header-wrap {
position:static!important;
}
.td-main-page-wrap {
padding-top: 0!important;
}
Should work, give it a try.
Thanks
In my web I use the Newspaper 9 gaming theme.
I want to add a navigation button with a fixed position when the user accesses using mobile on each posting page and page.
Screenshot : https://pasteboard.co/HZJ2fIP.jpg
I want add this code :
<div class="navbar">
<a href="#"><i class="tds-icon td-icon-whatsapp"></i><br>WA</a>
<a href="#"><i class="tds-icon tdc-font-tdmp tdc-font-tdmp-old-phone"></i><br>TELP</a>
<a href="#"><i class="tds-icon td-icon-whatsapp"></i><br>WA</a>
</div>
I have used these 3 ways:
1. Newspaper > Theme Panel > Custom Code > {add script html}
2. Add html scripts on wp-content/themes/newspaper/footer.php and wp-content/themes/newspaper/mobile/footer.php
3. Add html script with visual composer.
I used this method successfully, but only on the front page.
how can the script that I use be used on every page, post page ?
Hi,
You could use the mobile theme plugin, this will allow you to set a menu just for mobile

More information about the mobile plugin here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Hello,
We utilize Newspaper with the mobile plugin on our site located at https://www.theapex.racing
On mobile devices, the header bar (with menu button, logo and search button) disappears when scrolling down but reappears when scrolling up.
I can’t find a theme panel option to change this behavior. Is there a way to stop the header from reappearing when scrolling up using custom CSS?
Thank you!
Hi,
It will look like this with the mobile Chrome browser – http://prntscr.com/mghm0g
This theme demo has the AMP plugin enabled
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_crypto/td-post-ripple-ceo-and-ethereum-co-founder-bash-ico-industry/amp/
If you search for the post in Google search and open it that is how it will look.
Thanks
Hi,
The newsletter and other shortcodes will not be displayed when the mobile theme plugin is active. There would be no way around this.
If you want to display a newsletter form in the mobile version you would have to enter the form directly in the post content for example. This would be a solution.
Thanks
Hi,
Please note that you have a lot of errors in console, please try to solve them.

Hi,
Unfortunately for the moment the homepage from mobile theme is can’t be edit, also the page need to be make without builders/composers, sorry.
Here is our documentation for mobile theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you for your understanding!
Actually, it depends on the net speed of the user. In an average page speed, it looks quite slow for Newspaper Theme. I think Newspaper developers have to optimize the speed in next versions.
In Google Page Insight it is 22% from Mobile & 56% from Desktop. It is not good also for SEO.
Hi,
Something wrong with google test service (Page Insight).
Your test page ” https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/ ” – have only 34% for PC users. I tested my websites and for PC users I have only 45%, for mobile only 2%. Im using your Newspaper theme, but it`s loading really fast for moblile and for PC (I made all optimizations from your Documentation + CDN works well).
Need to use another services for testing, due I have fast website speed for my websites and for your test page too. On gtmetrix.com I have more than 90% for page speed.
Your testpage speed on gtmetrix is 79% (2.55MB). Fully loaded time – 5.1.sec. 114 requests.
I want to be able to add the good looking newsletter form of my normal theme but keeping use of the mobile theme that is my only issue i want to add the newsletter right after my posts
So there is no solution to this? I travel often and it seems kind of odd that a theme optimized for mobile cannot be edited on said mobile device.
Hi, after upgrade the theme and wp layout is changed.
See image…

also on mobile…

How come there are instances where a certain post/page is not using the Mobile Theme (generated by the Tagdiv mobile theme plugin) and instead would load the responsive version of the theme?
Hi,
Please make sure that there is no plugin conflicts, please deactivate all plugins, clear all cache and try again!
Also please not that if you are using mobile theme you need to make pages in mobile editor without using any builders -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Let me know the results!
Thanks you!
Hi,
This is possible only if you are using mobile theme.

Hello,
So I am trying to adjust the mobile theme on my site noestamosperdidos.com, and although its working really fast )which I really want), there’s too many problems with it. When I open it with my Iphone the menu does open, I have no sharing buttons on the articles, the gradient over the “featured” post its moved and looks awful, and some categories have a black background so the text cannot be read. When I try the site with an android phone the site looks better and I am able to share posts and check the menu. So its there any problem with iOS?
I still haven’t figured out how to add pages to it though, as the tutorial seems outdated and theres no such a thing as a mobile editor (or is there?).
Thank You
Hi,
For increased performance on mobile there is a mobile theme you could use. Here is some information about it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
The desktop looks alright, there could be some improvements – http://prntscr.com/mf5r86
For overall optimization to the website you can check some topics from the forum
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newpaper9-theme-making-website-very-slow-google-pagespeed-just-24100/
Regarding the AMP issues, seems the auto ads code has been entered in the header ad spot
– http://prntscr.com/mf5orn
That would be wrong, that code can only be entered like this at the moment
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/info-adv-amp/
I believe an option will be added in a coming update for the AMP plugin, so that the code can be entered in the theme panel instead of the plugin files. But for the moment that is the only way.
Thanks
Hi,
Unfortunately our theme was build to can edit/create posts/pages/categories … using the desktop devices not mobile device, sorry!
Thank you for your understanding!
site: https://www.worten.es/blog – on desktop it works just fine. But if I change the viewport to an iPhone using the browser’s inspector, I get this JS error in the console. Lazy loading of images stop working, and images are not shown at all, in any page. On desktop, it works perfectly fine, so I’m quite puzzled.
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘replace’ of undefined

at HTMLDocument.K (jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:1)
For the time being, I have de-activated lazy loading and modified inicial opacity of images setting it to 1 so they show up without the fade animation it’s supposed to have if that JS worked fine.
How can I fix this JS error? – checked the DOM and the object/property it’s looking for, is available so I don’t really know what else to do.

Hi,
We will try to help you with these issues. The first and most important step would be the theme requirements guide, there will be various issues if these are not met
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
It is true that there is currently an issue with the mobile theme (this will be fixed in the next theme update), but if it’s not active it can’t be blamed.
Indeed seems that the images do not load in the posts , also other elements such as the header search, the related articles section at the bottom of the post, these are not working correctly.
Usually this is caused by a plugin conflict, conflict between the theme and various codes entered in the theme panel, theme files or child theme.
These would be the next things to check, deactivate all non-theme plugins as a quick test, remove theme modifications and deactivate the child theme temporarily, also codes in the theme panel if you entered any.
When configured properly it shouldn’t cause any issues

Make sure the data you enter in it is according to the documentation. If it still causes problems we could take a look at it. Send us admin access at contact@tagdiv.com so we can check it. Include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.
Thanks
