Hi,
This is happen because you are trying to use a wrong version of mobile theme, you need to use the mobile theme that cams with you newspaper version, in your case v9.1 , you can not use the mobile from anther pack version.
If you do not have that version of mobile them, you can write us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and ask for it, or make an update to the theme and get from themeforest the theme with all files
Thanks.
Hi,
Note that if you use the mobile theme plugin you will have to create two versions for each page. One with the composer, and one with the mobile editor, as mentioned in the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not enter content in the mobile editor for each page, they will be empty on mobile when the mobile theme plugin is active. The plugin is optional, you can deactivate it and then the same content from desktop will appear on mobile.
Thanks
I found it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/. Thank you!
But… It doesn’t work: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-mobile-theme-plugin-disabled-automatically/
I tried to install tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, but I’ve got an error:
PLUGINS DISABLED AUTOMATICALLY
The following plugins were disabled because they are incompatible with this version of Newspaper:
tagDiv Mobile Theme
How do I fix it?..
Thanks…
What do you mean mobile theme? How do I use it? You mean activate mobile plugin?

There are plans to make modifications in the theme for increased performance overall. For mobile speed you could use the mobile theme which is specifically made for mobiles. This demo has the mobile theme active

Hi,
In order to have all social network on mobile theme you need to add this custom code ( the social on mobile theme was designed to be show only on one line )
#td-mobile-nav .td-menu-socials {
height: auto;
}

Thank you!

Hi,
Please note that if you are using mobile theme you need to make a new content for pages without using any builder or shortcodes, please check our documentation for mobile theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Thank you!
i fixed this by disabling the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin
Hi, I got the same issue couple weeks ago. I asked to the support and they told me that it is a bug that will be solved in the next releases. A workaround taht works is to disable the mobile theme plugin: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/.
After that the TD will work fine and you can save all the changes.

Fabio
Thank you. I set 7 social networks in Newspaper>Theme panel>Social networks. I have 7 social icons on desktop version. But on the mobile menu I have only 5 social icons. How do I fix it?
Buna Calin
Sorry only now I have time to work on the site again. I do not have the mobile theme activated, and in WordPress mobile view of the site the site looks fine. But in Chrome Android I only see HTML code. What am I doing wrong, or how to remedy this please?

hi,
the mobile theme seems to break my site. Is there a place I can send you a link to show you?
Hi,
If you want to have more speed on mobile, you need to install the Mobile Theme plugin for this. This plugin was fully optimized for mobile and you should achieve good results. You can check our demo on mobile to see how it works from here -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/
Anyway, please understands that Google uses some weird algorithms that determine the speed of the site and is not always reliable, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
What should I do with the jetpack mobile settings?
Some of the settings:
Site accelerator enabled
Lazy Loading for images enabled
Mobile theme enabled
Pending what you have to say, I have disabled Jetpack Mobile theme and will see what happens.
Hi,
In order to add or remove those you need to go in Newspaper>Theme panel>Social networks -> https://www.screencast.com/t/XfOyRPnifsoR but note that this social will be display on all device not only on mobile.
Also in order to set them only on mobile or desktop you’ll need to use custom css.
Unfortunately our theme do not have any option to let you to reorder the social networks, this can be achieve only custom css too.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hello,
I just finished my site, with your theme.
I am very satisfied with the desktop version. However, the mobile version is terribly slow. The user experience is compromised.
Do you have solutions to solve this problem?

Hi,
I made a test on my install and those plugins work perfect -> https://www.screencast.com/t/sN4LBtTpQ
Is possible that you set something in page content with tagDiv Composer that provide that problem.
Please make a test create a new page and sat some blocks there and some content in mobile editor and see if this is still happen.
Also you can make a test to see if you do not have anthers plugins that create this conflict, you can deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and check again.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Unfortunately the mobile theme do not have a filter to allow you to sort posts after categories, but if you “click” on one category the post from that category will be sorted
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/wGzuBAUwAOT
-> https://www.screencast.com/t/Z5ZGIN32l6
Thanks.
Hi,
Please check the jetpack settings for mobile -> https://jetpack.com/support/mobile-theme/
Thank you!
Hi!
Sorry Calin, I’ll try to be more specific.
It is all updated.
I use both TagDiv Composer and Mobile Theme, and I know that the TagDiv Composer doesn’t appear on Mobile theme.
So I created a content that’s specially designed for mobiles, on “Mobile Editor”, as you can see:
http://www.screencast.com/t/bEAGVAr5
The problem is that, when I access the content on mobile, the “paragraphs” disappear.
As you can see here, accessing on desktop and mobile:
https://naturam.com.br/sobre/nossa-historia/
And I’m putting the paragraphs correctly in the in the Mobile Editor:
http://www.screencast.com/t/JgZa8ERWvut
http://www.screencast.com/t/u4bTmUsgIWW
How it looks on mobile theme (no paragraphs)
http://www.screencast.com/t/pYXcuyqwD0fQ
That only happen when I’m using TagDiv Composer, if I use the normal/classic editor, the Mobile Theme reads the “Mobile Editor” paragraphs normaly:
(https://naturam.com.br/politica-de-comentarios/)
– http://www.screencast.com/t/tdCS8B23uGLb
– http://www.screencast.com/t/I8NrM2sTKn
Why does this happen?
Thanks!!

Is it possible to filter post categories in mobile theme. Specific category of the post will appear on landing page in case of mobile theme
Funny enough I am using a similar demo theme but am not quite sure what’s causing the errors. Could it be the robots.txt which was blocking resources? More importantly, could robots.txt also cause “clickable elements & content wider than screen” problems since I blocked the theme folder from being crawled?
I have used the same plugin and it was working absolutely fine until the 5xx server error cropped up. Also, the problems started only after I altered robots.txt file. Maybe that’s the issue. Might as well use the mobile plugin again though because of faster page load times.
But, could you please confirm my suspicion about robots.txt?
