The solution is not use the mobile theme?
Hello Rohan!
You should create the content with the Mobile Editor. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
Or, if there is a plugin conflict, then the plugin’s team should provide a patch in order to work with the Mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
My website use Newspaper 12,5,1 and the Paid Membership Pro plugin. Everything is fine with the web version but the mobile theme sucks with the PMP Pro Plugin.
I know it works if I don’t use the Mobile Theme because the web version is responsive but my problem is that if I don’t use the mobile theme, then the speed on Google Insight is catastrophic.
Any Recommendation?
Thank you.
Rohan
Hello @cassiano12 !
This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
Thank you!
I use the AMP option. The reason why don’t I use the AMP+mobile theme option is it stops showing “Last Updated Date” on the post on the mobile screen once I use this option. That is another issue.

Hello,
The tagdiv analyzer is only beta; we recommend it only if you have a few blocks on the page and a standard style.
The page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website. A good choice for the page speed, could be the mobile layout which contains fewer elements because it can improve a bit your page speed.
There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you could check some of them

Also, pagespeed is not covered by support -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/
If you use Wp Rocket, you can try to exclude the following files
/jquery-?[0-9.](.*)(.min|.slim|.slim.min)?.js
/jquery-migrate(.min)?.js
/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/js/tagdiv_theme.min.js

Hello!
Do you use this option in the theme panel -> mobile theme: https://prnt.sc/bINIliEGCzPt ?
Thank you!
Hi,
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edited with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!

hello, i have some questions about theme and it has some problems, like in some browsers the mobile view has many problems, how can i get direct support?
Hello!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.

If you need to use the mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
I loaded the home and internal pages from the cloud templates but I can’t find a way to activate them within the theme. In fact, only the default version is displayed

Hello!
Do you have the Mobile theme plugin uninstalled?
Thank you!
Hello!
The mobile theme and AMP layout is similar. Uninstall the AMP plugin and set only mobile theme in the theme panel settings.
I recommend you use these 2 mobile versions:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.

Hello
We recently upgraded from WordPress classic to Gutenberg block editor. The new built-in Slider gallery displays on the Personal Computer however does not appear on the Mobile browser version of the latest Newspaper theme.
https://www.roadblazing.com/2023-toyota-sequoia-capstone-4×4-bottom-line-review/
I could not seem to find any settings in the WP Gutenberg editor tools to address the issue.
Is a supplemental plug in required for the latest version of the Newspaper for theme to slider gallery to properly display on Mobile Browsers?
I set up my mobile theme originally to use AMP pages, but I’ve changed my mind and want to not have any AMP pages showing. I purchased the Purge AMP CDN Cache plugin to try to get rid of the AMP pages, but they are still rendering.
Also, possibly related, I’ve modified the NP Theme mobile and mobile-2 pages, but is still rendering the desktop version. I’m thinking maybe I have the mobile theme panel settings wrong.
How do I set it up to only render the mobile theme on small devices and get rid of and AMP versions?
I have disabled comment URL field & comment author link in Newspaper desktop theme by adding codes in child themes function.php file but not sure how to disable for mobile theme. Please suggest which file needs to be edited for that or how can I do that for mobile theme.
Hello,
You can manage the social icons for the mobile menu from the Theme Panel -> Social/APIS -> Social Networks => https://prnt.sc/10112uu

Hi Calin,
So it appears that Sidebar Ad is the only ad slot that behaves differently (in regards to width of the image ad placed as a simple html code – it stretches and distorts it) from every other ad slot (such as header ad, footer, ad, custom ad).
If is intended this way by the theme developer – it is fine.
However, it makes zero sense why it would be intended to work this way – to basically intentionally ruin the image ad placed as an html code in the sidebar, when viewed on the mobile screen max width 767.

Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options.
Thank you so much for understanding!
how to embed webstory in a post in news paper theme , because when i embed it the image of the webstory become too large on mobile that it takes too much time to scroll , you can check this link on mobile please
Hello,
On my website i have mobile plugin and amp plugin installed.
On the mobile plugin i choose Mobile + AMP
On the AMP plugin : Transitional mode with only AMP version on posts
I have a cloud template header and footer with mobile customized version.
When i navigate on my website in mobile all is perfect (menu, header, footer) in all the pages, but when i go to a post i have two choice : the mobile version i customized in cloud template with the header, the good fonts, colors,… and the AMP version with zero customisation, the website looks very bad.
I try to change the AMP version of the website in Theme Panel > Mobile Theme > Theme color, Theme fonts but no change !
2 questions :
– it’s possible to serve the mobile version customized in cloud template on the AMP version ?
– If the answer at the previous question is no, how to customized the AMP template ?
Sorry for my approximate english.
Thanks
Hello,
You can disable the mobile theme plugin on the pages from the Gutenberg editor using the following option => https://www.screencast.com/t/axXRJsWby
