I would love to use the Mobile Theme/AMP functionality as I think it looks and works great, but those mobile pages will not load ads from Amazon, Taboola, and Insticator. I’ve only been able to get Google AdSense to load on those pages since the Mobile Theme and AMP were combined. Unless there’s something I’m missing.

Unfortunately, the Classic AMP plugin does not have this implementation for Featured Video, sorry! If you want to achieve this functionality, you need to use our new theme’s functionality with Mobile Theme and AMP. Thanks as always, The amp related errors are somewhat sorted and are being validated in Webmaster tools, we will know after the submission is complete and dealt with, will let you know.
The script we loaded was accidentally put from the normal auto ads and not amp auto ads. We did that this morning and it subsided the script error. That is on us, apologies.

I’m using the latest version of newspaper v9.6 with mobile plugin and AMP.
When I’m open my site on mobile devices it’s not good and blog readers hate to read my articles.

Even i’m not able to change mobile menu text type.
I have about 90 categories on the site and they all have a unique tag. However they all have a tag in common, too. I think that’s why I encountered tens of link tags on mobile theme category page. Here is the problem:

Because of this problem I had to disable the mobile theme.
Well the problem is that I could not disable the excessive tags (about 90 tags) on mobile theme. Is there a way to hide those tags on category pages or push them under the post lists on category pages?

I had to change my perfectly working W3 Total Cache to WP Super Cache, recompile all ads codes (add new to Mobile and AMP section), remake used cloud templates (old ones didn’t want to work) and still the site’s mobile version looks horrible, AMP versions don’t work.

That depends, what changes are you making and where? The mobile theme uses a predefined template for posts, category pages, author pages etc. Pages will display only the content you enter in the mobile editor, as mentioned in the guide

So each page requires two versions, one for desktop and one for mobile. The homepage on mobile is also predefined, there will be a top grid with three featured posts, then the content entered in the mobile editor, then a latest articles section.

While it may not be the best solution there is, it still is in the top caching plugins. AS far as I know this is the only caching plugin that works with the mobile theme properly. Maybe others do as well if configured in a right way, but I can’t say which one and what configuration unfortunately.

AMP is valid in the posts from what I can see. That message in the console seems to say something about a script. Are you sure it is a script loaded by the theme? What exactly is this script if it’s possible to find out?

4. I can’t say if this will be implemented at the moment, or if it is possible to do with the mobile theme. It is noted as a request and will be strongly considered.
6. This works in our tests and I haven’t seen similar topics about it. Maybe this is a specific situation where it does not work. If you want us to investigate provide admin login as well as cPanel if possible at contact@tagdiv.com.

If you are not using the mobile theme then, you are using the mobile version of Newspaper ( Newspaper theme is a responsive theme, the mobile theme is a plugin that help you to achieve a good speed on mobile version ).

Hi, I can’t for the life of me figure out what the identifying Class or Id be for the mobile menu.
Reason: I’m trying to replace it with a different menu plugin and I need the Class or id.

For some reason PageSpeed from Google shown me ass issue of speed image size of thumbail for mobile theme

In fact image have size just 120*90 px and in case all mobiles is retina 🙂 we show a double size, but Google Pagespeed indexing exactly this version of image

I have read all your info about mobile theme and unfortunately is not so clear (any least for me). First I thought that activating the mobile theme will shown a new page called “Mobile Theme” to customize the mobile theme, but not. Now i just discovered that i have to create a new page for mobile theme and use the classic editor that i eliminated following your directions in order to use the TAGDIV COMPOSSER. Is there any other way to do it? if not could you be more specific about the steps to do it?? (we are not PRO´S and sometimes every change is a high mountain to climb)
