Which AMP option (Standard, Transitional, Reader) should I choose so that I can create separate templates for the mobile and desktop versions?

The widget is not displayed on mobile because you added the element in the header mobile, and this section is applied only to the desktop and tablet versions. For mobile, you need to select the viewport for the phone to add in the Mobile menu -> https://i.imgur.com/8Cntjoz.png
Also, I noticed that you use a standard template, and for those, the elements from the sidebar are loaded to the bottom of the post -> https://i.imgur.com/lSRmRMS.png if you want to have the widget first, you need to use a cloud template.

Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

I am trying to set up a new site with your Newspaper 12 theme.

What I am experiencing, is when logged out, the desktop view shows mobile view (when logged in everything appears as it should).
Also, there is a login button showing in the top bar (Mobile Theme only) which I don’t seem to be able to hide (I have looked for a setting in both the Theme settings and WordPress settings).
Please can you help?

1. This is usually happens when the amp plugin is used with the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin. This is using only the Transitional mode from amp plugin.
If the Amp is not used with the mobile theme plugin then you’ll need to set it on Reader template to can use it with our theme.
2. Our theme and the amp used with our theme do not provide any option to can design the amp version, just to use the provided layout from the mobile theme plugin or amp.

If you are using the mobile theme plugin, then you can add those ads in this section – https://i.imgur.com/tg4w3K4.png if you are not using the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin and only the amp plugin then it is possible to be need to use a dedicate plugin for amp ads (if the amp plugin do not have an option to add the ads).

Yes, the shortcode is correctly set in your screenshot. This is the method 1 mentioned in the guide that I provided and the most easy to use.
If you want to have the responsive version displayed on mobile, then please do not use the tagDiv Mobile Theme plugin, this will remove the sidebar element from mobile or as an alternative you can add for the mobile menu the gtranslate elements in mobile menu – https://i.imgur.com/t8A6p4d.png

There is no problem with widget in configuring in the sidebar.
however when the posts are visited by clicking post url, the posts are not able to display widget.
Now magine situation where the post was found in web search or if i have forwarded the url to someone by email or whatsapp.
Now for example if person lands on a post straightaway, using a post url, they cannot view the post in their own language on mobile posts. however the pages are able to display translator.
I am querrying if the individual posts when viewed in mobile can load the widget just like the way it is displayed on PC Tab and web version.
Currently i have tried everything.
please suggest if there is a way to this.

I just checked the socials and those are 8 on mobile and all of theme seems to be displayed on one line (there are socials that are not displayed on desktop and socials that are not displayed on mobile)), if you want them o 2 lines, then you can try the below custom css and the results will be: https://i.imgur.com/csJLXCm.png

1. Why does switching to Standard AMP mode from Transitional, the AMP plugin automatically reverts it back to ‘Transitional’, while both Desktop and Mobile versions are being served as AMP?

I recently created a new homepage using your TAGDIV Composer and the desktop version works great. Unfortunately, something is off with the mobile version and I’m hoping this is a simple fix that has alluded me up to this point.
I’m using your Big Grid Flex 3 at the top of the homepage and have set the appropriate category filter for content that should be included in the grid. It works perfectly on Desktop and even the mobile preview shows it’s working, but when I save it, the live mobile version is running our latest posts instead.
I’ve tinkered with the settings for both desktop and mobile but haven’t been able to fix it.
Is there something I’m missing or any general advice you could provide?

Most of the pages in the web as well as the web version displays the translation option.
Posts in the mobile version do not display the translate option.
Prior to adding the widget, it was already displayed on all other pages as well as posts on the web version.
please can you write a detailed reply on which method to use as there are three methods, however as you can see the screenshot the option to add widget to side bar that is on all the posts does not exist.

I have created the AMP version for the website smarknews.com, but ?’ve got some problems. I tried to take a look to the issues of other people in this forum, but it was unsuccessful.
First of All, I’ve created the home mobile version as you wrote in your documentation:

I’ve used one of the mobile templates (newspaper mobile).
But if I try to load the page from mobile, it doesn’t work, even id I try to clear the site cache with the suggested plugin wp super cache.

But the stranger thing is that if I try to load the homepage from my desktop device without reloading the browser’s cache, it loads as mobile default version (with all the stream of the news without categories division)…
I’m not understanding where I’m doing wrong…

When I insert a news item in my WP and attach a photo.
Then when I see that news in mobile version. I see the news with the photo 2 times.
How can I make sure that the photo attached to the news is only shown once?

I think that you are referring to this option: https://i.imgur.com/QKaQA1k.png. This is an option from the theme and not the name of the page. You can find all the pages here https://i.imgur.com/qqPzWqa.pngor here -> https://i.imgur.com/bTtxoVL.png
If you have edited the pages with another page editor, then yes, the composer will not recognize them, as if you created a page. Have you checked the documentation about the mobile options that the theme offers?
Also, there are different elements for pages, so you can not assign them globally; for example, if you have a homepage where you display all the posts, you can use the same template for a contact page where it is normal to have only a form for contact.
