Hi Bettina,
Thank you for the reply. MY confusion is this: aren’t all mobile device browsers AMP?
So what’s the difference between choosing “Amp + Mobile” and choosing “Mobile” for mobile theme?
Thanks,
Ozgur
Hello respected team. Can you please tell me how can i hide images inside posts both in desktop and mobile themes/Versions?
We lost media due to some errors and those images are now showing broken images inside posts which are giving very bad impact on users. So we wanted to hide images inside posts until we complete uploading images again and we will show those new images then.
Kind Regards.
Hello,
You can change the font size from Theme Panel -> Mobile Theme -> https://i.imgur.com/jZ8hZc5.png

Hello dear team, can you please tell me how can i reduce font size of text present inside posts in mobile themes.
Kind Regards.
Hello Jason!
We have 3 options for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Make sure you do not use Mobile theme plugin, if you use the mobile option 1 or 2.
Thank you!
Hello,
Amp works with mobile theme plugins.
You can also, check this topic to find more details https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-working-well-with-this-theme/
Thank you!
Hi
I’ve tried searching but can’t find anything on making the header ad show on mobile. We have majority of our traffic coming on mobile and although the ad is not visible, the ad code fires which in turn impacts the visibility statistics of our AdSense, and earning.
Is there a way to make the ad space visible on mobile? I would have initially thought that it would move under the logo on mobile devices.
Thanks
Jason
Hello @Ozgurunlu !
The AMP only works better with the Mobile Theme plugin. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Please read all about AMP here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/

“If we choose “Amp + mobile” does that mean we force “&=1″ on all small screen devices and mobile phones?” -> No. These settings regarding the URL will be made in the AMP plugin.
Ideally, amp + mobile, so you can customize how the URL here: https://prnt.sc/Suz-eOBmge8- is displayed before activating the Mobile theme plugin.
I hope it is more understandable now for you!
Thank you!
It seems complicated, I will study and process the solution it tonight.
Turn off “tagDiv mobile theme” & “Official AMP for WP”, will not affect the display of the mobile site. Is it correct?
Hello,
Please disable also, the amp plugin.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose your mobile version
Thank you!
Thank you for your reply.
Follow your step,
– tagDiv mobile theme > Turn off
– Official AMP for WP > no change, keep turn on

But the result is not as expected. The logo is back, but the theme is lost.
Refer below image, you may find that the composition and featured photos is lost.
‘
p.s. In last, I turn on “tagDiv mobile theme” back.

Hello,
For the mobile theme, I don’t know if will be added.
Thank you!
Hello,
You have the mobile theme plugin activated, the mobile theme comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/ and choose your mobile version
Thank you!
I’m very Happy with most recent update, you added amazing features more specifically, Table of content is my favorite which I requested to add and I’m glad to see that on my plate. Well, I’m fan of Newspaper theme and dedicated tagdiv team members because of their work and support they showcase in their products.
I have suggestion for you, your theme is fast and nicely structured but Could you please focus towards website performance and web core vitals in your upcoming updates because it is key matrix to support publishers.
I mean can we trim more or replace elements in website to make it more lightweight like trimming js and css or replacing with lightweight elements.
You have already done such thing with tagdiv mobile theme; however, can we do it same cloud templates.
Hello Team,
I think I read all the post/docs about this but couldn’t understand it.
So, in the theme panel it says “Displays content using the Mobile Theme on both mobiles and AMP” in mobile theme settings.
What does that mean exactly? Don’t all mobile device browsers and small screen device browsers support AMP?
If we choose “Amp + mobile” does that mean we force “&=1” on all small screen devices and mobile phones?
IF I enable the Amp plugin but not the mobile theme, will my urls get appended “&=1”
If I enable both the amp and the mobile theme plugins, will all my urls in mobile phones gets the “&=1”?
After activating both plugins, should I make separate crawl requests in Google SEO tools for all the urls by adding them “&=1”??
As you can see, this is very confusing to me, any help is appreciated. The more details you can provide, the better.
Thanks in advance.
Actually, I have been facing this problem since yesterday. My website is testprephut.com . It opens perfectly on Desktop but whenever I open the site on my mobile it’s totally different. I am making the changes on the Desktop but the changes do not show on the mobile. Could you please look into it?
Hello Anamaria,
Thanks for that! And one more question: Is there an option to implement the Table of Contents into the mobile theme? That would also be awesome!
All the best,
Daniel
Hi Bettina,
Thanks for the reply. Been there and done that. Hundreds of times. Here’s a screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/ccjK0WD
Looks totally fine in the editing mode. But once edited. Saved. And viewed. It still happens. The cart goes to the left. Try to scroll up and down to see the issue in action. Here’s a screenshot. Circled in red: https://imgur.com/a/xu90W08
In my previous reply, I mentioned these steps that one can follow to see the issue in action. You may follow these steps to see the issue I’m talking about.
1. Go to Wishlist: https://tangankraf.com/wishlist/
2. Add an item or two to the cart.
3. Go to the cart logo on your top right, and click Checkout.
4. This is where the issue happens. Make sure you’re viewing it on mobile. Here’s the Checkout page: (https://tangankraf.com/checkout).
5. The icons look fine until you try to scroll down and up the page. Stick and non-sticky. Please try to scroll down and up. That’s when it happens. The cart goes to the left. Here’s the screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/5tI5UrN
6. Let me know how to edit this icon and stop this icon from misbehaving. The issue happens both when I’m signed in as admin and when I’m not.
Best,
Adi
Hello Adi!
There is a mobile sticky header, which I guess should be edited. Please follow the video to see where you can find and build your sticky header on mobile and desktop too: https://www.screencast.com/t/l6v2Belt
Make sure you use the same header template. Examine the Website Manager.
Thank you!
Hello @nickmde !
Uninstall the Mobile theme plugin, clear the cache and check the results.
Thank you!
My website pagegoo.com does not use cache plugin.
The mobile website browsers were working until yesterday.
Not sure what is going on here.
Hello @halloway !
Please add your logo while you edit the homepage with the TagDiv Composer. A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features, Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/

Hello,
It seems you have a mobile theme plugin and this is displayed on the desktop -> https://i.imgur.com/QeZYJuW.png
Usually, this happens with cache plugins. If the cache plugin does not have mobile support then the mobile theme version can be delivered instead.
The solution would be to use the recommended WP Super Cache plugin instead and activate these settings (especially the mobile device support): https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, please edit the Single Post template, and check if there is added the element Single Featured Image.
Thank you!
