Thank you.
It is crucial since Google uses mobile to index articles. Having the mobile plugin without this feature is useless even if we enable it on Tagdiv Composer.
There is also an issue when scrolling back up on mobile. See screenshot
Thanks for the tip with the colours 🙂
The logo on mobile is still not perfect. I imagine its because the header height is still the same, whilst the logo height is larger. This is why there is a line behind the logo. Is there a way to move the line down (increase the actual header height)?
Also I want my mobile menu to be fixed.
It should be like the way mentioned in the red marked box.
The categories section should not be such a way as it is right now on Mobile.
Hello I would like to change the mobile title for magazine pro but can’t seem to find where to do this.. it says “DISCOVER THE ART OF PUBLISHING” right below my site title and I want to change/edit this.
Hi,
For me your logo it looks good now https://i.imgur.com/UnCdTZw.png but please set a color on the mobile menu and search (green, black what you want), you can do that from here -> https://i.imgur.com/3ennxX6.png
Thank you!
Hello!
Let me explain you which options of mobile versions are:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website is looking similar like on desktop, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
A full explanation you can find here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Now, you can use which one is more suitable for your needs.
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. Check the case here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-pages-not-shown/
If you use Mobile theme plugin, then you can not edit the pages with TagDiv Composer.
There are no settings to customize the pages.
You have only some settings for this layout, which you can find in Theme panel -> Mobile Theme.
AMP is faster and works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. The design is looking pretty similar as our plugin. Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
If you want only Mobile and not Mobile + AMP, please set it in the theme panel -> mobile theme -> mobile settings this option.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello, I’m looking to buy a second license for a new website but I was never able to figure out the mobile theme. I just want a simple listing of the latest news and some menus, nothing fancy. Since it’s different from the desktop layout, am I supposed to go for the route where I delete the apps and create the mobile page? Right now, I have that done with a mobile theme from the cloud installed, but it’s not showing the correct way.
https://widebodynews.com/
Also, I have a question about AMP. It seems to disable my lightbox and google search console showed links with /amp in them at the end, so it was seeing two types of links which I thought was strange. If I don’t want amp I’m supposed to go the mobile page rout?
https://widebodynews.com/muscle-cars/hot-rodder-cant-buy-his-old-dodge-charger-daytona-builds-this-instead/?amp=1
(note, I have watched “Let’s go Mobile!” ten times. Please tell me what is the ideal solution to my situation).
Hello,
The header and footer are taken from the standard ones. All you have to do is edit the mobile page, and in Manager (Website Manager) you need to import or the easy way is to convert the existent header/footer like this => https://www.screencast.com/t/HrjOBNayd -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY (03:11 – Mobile Templates & Pages)
Thank you!
Hello,
Please follow this guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-amp-plugin-tutorial/
Also, if you have other plugins, please disable them, and try to activate the AMP and Mobile theme plugins.
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi, we have now launched the site live so if you can have a look at the logo issue on mobile we would be most grateful 🙂
Good morning, I have created several pages of links in the menu in the mobile view, but when I open those pages it loses all the header and the footer is different from the one established. How do I solve it?
Hello!
Please make sure all the settings are correct: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
This situation appears when you are using the mobile theme plugin and the cache plugin that you have does not feature options for a separate mobile theme plugin therefore do not know when to deliver the mobile version and when to deliver the desktop version.
We tested with our theme the WP Super Cache and with the settings from our guide this is working correctly: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
Also, the issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– cPanel url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hello,
At the moment the website is loading, the page loading starts with the header, content and after the footer.
This problem can be solved if you optimize the website and make it faster.
For page speed please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/why-is-my-websites-mobile-google-test-slow/
To make the website full width please check this topic https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/change-header-and-body/
Thank you!
Mobile theme stopped working without any theme edit, page view count nolonger works, AMP pages don’t work. Theme sometimes loads mobile pages on desktop. Mobile pages and desktop pages keep alternating in display. Theme switches colors automatically. Google rankings lost. Problem has existed for about 4 months now. No change was made to the site prior to the problem. Site link ictguy[.]com.
Hello Stavros!
It seems that you have the Mobile Theme plugin installed and active. Please deactivate it and see the results!
Thank you!
hi.
I’m trying to get subtitles to appear on the list of articles (posts). I want the articles listed to be 2-column until mobile when they should be one-column.
I modified .td_module_10.php a long time ago, but want to change modules because that one doesn’t function the way I want it to on a mobile: It retains the two columns instead of changing to a full-width image with text under it (for each post). I found a Cloud loop template that does this.
A long time ago, Calin & Bogden gave me instructions to add code to td_module_10.php, but the instructions don’t work on the loop template. https://ibb.co/M5Tbmw4
I added the same code to tdb_module_loop.php. If I inspect the code I can see the subtitle div is there, but it is not being populated by the subtitle: https://u83572.imgbb.com/
Can you help? (And can I send you the url privately?)
Thanks!
Hi Bettina,
The layout now is different from what we had.
As you can see on the post https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-title-on-mobile/ we had this header https://ibb.co/SfZWcP2 and the whole page was different and now the header is https://ibb.co/cg6YSz1 and the layout is different.
Do you know why?
Thank you,
Stavros.
Hello!
I can see the Mobile Theme’s templates on your mobile version. So, please clear the cache or take a look in a incognito window.
If you want only Mobile and not Mobile + AMP, please set it in the theme panel this option.

Hello!
When you have the Mobile Theme plugin installed, then when you edit normally a page(not with TagDiv Composer), you will have those settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/KbleisXK

If you make a mobile page and assign it on a desktop page, then this should be displayed in a mobile version and not a desktop version. If you have a responsive version, then it is possible that some elements or design should change also from the desktop version.
Thank you!
The tagDiv Mobile Theme and the AMP plugins and in Theme option is enable the Mobile + AMP
But the mobile version of https://capitallinkshipping.com/ is looks like as it will not have that option enable.
P.S. I deactivate the AMP plugin and no changes
Why does this happen?
Hello.
Where should i put the code from trafic.ro to count the mobile trafic? For desktop i put in analytics/js codes but mobile trafic is not counted. Thx
Thank you for your answer. I can understand that I must create this mobile pages with content with the mobile editor.. Perhaps it´s a simple question, but can you tell us how can we enter in the Mobile Editor?
Kind Regards
Ana
Hello Ana!
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin. Better deactivate the plugin and see the results.
AMP is faster and works better only with the Mobile Theme plugin. The design is looking pretty similar as our plugin.
Thank you!
