Hello !
After you create your mobile template you can go and edit it by clicking here: https://www.screencast.com/t/y3OKquwZFF
That is because you now have the option to switch between viewports when editing your templates.
Find out more information here: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
Thank you !
Hi gumball44,
The footer can be edited only from frontend, edit a page/post template with tagDiv Composer and go down to footer, or if you want to assign one, use the manager -> https://i.imgur.com/Q5PeHkp.png (the footer templates does not have the button to be edited in backend).
Also now I can see the footer and the page seems to be display correctly -> https://i.imgur.com/qwN88ZB.png but indeed sometimes appears the mobile version, this can be from the cache plugins you are using.
Thank you!

Thank you !
Hi,
Please provide me a link where I can inspect this, maybe you have set some categories, and these are blank, normal all the pages that has a content set in mobile editor should display that content.
Thank you!
Featured images, both desktop and mobile versions, do not fill the Big Grid. How can I solve this?

Dear Tag Div Team,
My website (https://mouthingoffmagazine.com/) shows our logo & menu perfectly on every page, with the exception of the home page.
While each page usually displays the standard drop-down menu, the home page simply displays each page individually.
Furthermore, every page, with the exception of the home page, displays our logo clearly and in high-definition. When going to the home page, however, it appears very fuzzy.
Lastly, (this is a seperate issue) after purchasing NextGen Gallery it does not work with AMP. I’ve contacted the NextGen Gallery Team, however, they have been unable to fix this issue and have stated that they do not have a solution to get the gallery working alongside the AMP on our site. Is there a way to make our gallery pages non-AMP while allowing all newspaper pages AMP?
Thank you for all your help and support.
Greg
Hi,
Using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders or shortcodes ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor -> https://i.imgur.com/ho41rUl.png and this content will be display on mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Thank you!
Hi mayaguez,
Our mobile theme plugin, does not had a sidebar page from beginning, this can be done only if you are using the responsive version not mobile theme plugin, or maybe you use the responsive version from mobile for some posts/pages -> https://i.imgur.com/iBw8NgX.png
Also now you can use the tagDiv Composer to create mobile content -> https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
This https://i.imgur.com/0MJ39DD.png is mobile theme plugin, the responsive version loo like this -> https://i.imgur.com/SrBCU5X.png
Maybe you are using redirect option to amp -> https://i.imgur.com/odKAopM.png please check it and if is so, please disable the option, clear all cache and try again.
Thank you!
Where do I have to insert this code in order to apply on mobile ?
// Preload Newspaper fonts for mobile theme
function dns_prefetch_mobile() {
echo "<link href='https://MYDOMAIN.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/images/icons/mobile-theme.woff?9' rel='preload' as='font' type='font/woff' crossorigin>";
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'dns_prefetch_mobile', 0 );
Hi kibiribi,
The native ads templates are working, but you need to make sure that if you are using the mobile theme plugins you set the ads in theme panel> mobile> theme > mobile ads -> https://i.imgur.com/qJj2RkA.png (if I’m right you have enable the mobile theme plugin) please set the code there and let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello !
For this you will need to set the mobile viewport as you can see here and hide the unwanted element: https://www.screencast.com/t/GvIHtkjAWP
Thank you !

Waiting for your quick respond
Hi,
1. This is because you are using the mobile theme plugin, this has a standard footer, therefore it can be edited using the options from theme panel > mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/jkDe23s.png
2. Hello !
We have noted all those ideas. In order to see your mobile view, press F12, open the website inspector from Google Chrome and select the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/xI18qvmbTxa and you can change your viewport to multiple pre-designed templates.
! Warning ! Always refresh your page after changing the viewport in order to see the correct version.
Thank you !
Hi,
Usually, most of the cache plugins or codes does not recognize when you are using a different version for mobile devices. The plugin that we recommend for cache maybe is not the best, but it can recognize this. What you can do to avoid this is to use the responsive version (disable the mobile theme plugin or use it only for amp as a template).
Thank you!
Hi,
If you are using the mobile theme plugin for amp, then please make sure that you have set the logo in theme panel > mobile theme > header -> https://i.imgur.com/Zs5uIar.png
if there is still a problem, please provide me a link where I can inspect this problem.
Let me know the results!
Hi,
This is a very good page speed on mobile and desktop.
If you are using the responsive version, then it should work, but for mobile theme this will be quite difficulty.
Here are some guides for how you can do this for a WordPress theme -> https://kinsta.com/blog/defer-parsing-of-javascript/ also if you are using the responsive version, then will be easier to use a plugin.
Thank you!
Two things at first.
The mobile theme does not work, and I would like to know how to activate it.
the amp plugin when activated destroyed what was already bad.
second:
the top menu icons for social networks do not work.
After I copy content of an existing page I have already created and click Create page, what happens, what else do I have to do so that the Mobil Page and content can be viewed in Mobil. Article not clear on what to do.
Also, I see now a Go to mobile version and a Exit mobile version on my tablet. What is this? What shall a User do? I have never seen these commands in any website before.
Please advise. Thank you.
How should I set?
1. Template Modes: Standard, Transitional or Reader?
2. Redirect mobile visitors to AMP. Yes or No?
3. Supported Templates:
3a. Content types enabled for AMP:Which should I check?
3b. Templates: Templates> Serve all templates as AMP?
Hey tagDiv team, how are you guys doing? hope everything is okay!
One question that I have regarding the new “Mobile Page” function, I’ve clicked by mistake on the option “Mobile Page” beside the “Edit with TagDiv Composer” button, on the top of my screen when editing my home page, now every time I log in into my home page it has a different format (Not configured in the same way it was before) and even after I delete the “Home Page – Mobile” from the Pages Menu on WordPress, it doesn’t go back as it was before…
If you guys wanna check the difference, just go to my website (https://ciclick.com.br), go to any other page (For example any post page), check how the page is build (Header and Footer especially), then go back to my home page and check the difference.
So with that in mind, do you guys know if there’s a way for me to rollback this process and make my Home Page behave the same way as the others (In a responsive way)…
Thanks and hope you guys have a nice day!
Hi Calin,
I had already created new content using tag div composer as you suggest in the third option.
If I use the mobile theme plugin with AMP only, as you suggested, I can only see the home page correctly, the other pages keep being blank.
I’ve set up the AMP: serve all the template as AMP.
What do you suggest, do I need to deactivate the mobile theme plugin or are there other solutions?
Thanks
