At the moment I can’t say if the cumulative layout shift is getting better. Indeed it become slightely better in the mobile version but since two days there is no change anymore. It stays in the orange area. Can there be something else?
In desktop version there is also a cumulative layout shift when scrolling up and down? Is it the same problem (sticky header) as in the mobile version? How can I solve it?
Greetings Kathrin
Hello,
I have migrated to a fitness template (fitness pro demo) based on tagdiv page builder that has been packaged as a part of the theme. I like to keep the template intact. However, I have few plugins which I had activated earlier and is made for WPBakery Page Builder/VC Composer.
After activating the WPBakery, I see that there is a layout issue with the mobile version of the template. It introduces a thick white line on the right hand side.
Any suggestions to fix this is appreciated.

Dear customer support,
although it´s enabled in the theme panel you can NOT see or find the top header menu on mobile devices. Is that normal if you don´t activate “tagDiv Mobile Theme” (which causes some layout problems)?
Please provide us with a proper solution because we don´t wanna use the mobile theme plugin.
Appreciate your help and support.
Best regards,
Felix
Hi,
Despite having WP Rocket installed, gzip compression etc etc the theme seems super slow – esp on mobile where it always loads in the red zone.. any suggestions? will it cope well with images being converted to webp or will it break? thanks!
When using Mobile view (both responsive and Mobile theme)
The 300×250 Ads are being displayed smaller (width wise) than the actual content.
However, if you look at the responsive sidebar, when shift to Mobile view, it looks PERFECT!
How can I enlarge my Ads size spot on the mobile view so that it will look as beautiful as the size that the sidebar can display.
Please note, all of my Mobile Ads spots are using 300×250 ads.
Also the Sidebar is using 300×250 (while in fact the display are covering 335×255 – which is the content size)
Look at this example: https://imgur.com/EtkTVNw
(p.s. – I’m using media.net so I cannot adjust the Ads size they only have fixed sizes)
Hi rammancelita,
Make sure that all the settings for WP Super Cache are set as in our guide (this is the option that is use for mobile in special https://i.imgur.com/CHOf1XE.png), also if you are using other cache plugin these can interfere and cache the mobile on desktop.
Thank you!
Hi tom.cox155,
As I can see you are using the responsive version for mobile, this can be adjusted using tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/rlN0Sj8.png the flex elements can be set per device -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello !
The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.
You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor or completely disable the mobile theme. The mobile editor will not render shortcodes !
Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:
Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Mobile theme plugin can be disabled from Newspaper Plugins as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/LnkZCEVC
The speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-increase-page-loading-speed/ you’ll be able to increase the speed of your website.

Hi,
When the mobile version or amp is displaying on desktop is a cache problem, we recommend to use WP Super Cache plugin, this is a free plugin and tested with our theme, also we have a guide for the settings you should do -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ also if you are using other cache plugins please deactivate them and make a test.
Also using the mobile theme plugin, you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version on mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to remove the “ABOUT US” block then you’ll remove the “Privacy Policy” too, but you can use a custom css only for about section:
.td-footer-description .block-title {
display: none;
}
The code need to be set in Theme panel> Mobile theme> Custom code> css.
The amp plugin need to be use with mobile theme plugin, as results the amp will have the same templates as mobile theme.
Thank you!
Hi Karen Taylor, we recommend to us the amp plugin with mobile theme plugin, in this way the settings from mobile theme will reflect on amp too. For example the background color -> https://i.imgur.com/NmtZQUs.png -> https://i.imgur.com/pIqfE4H.png also for removing the author from post you can use the option from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/YuH6a0t.png
Thank you!
Everthing on desktop is fine but it affected the mobile menu too (I mean in Mobile phones)…
Screenshot : https://imgur.com/vKwfwU2
Please give me any idea to make it happen to the element on desktop version only or to the specific menu used in desktop version… I know the elements are same but is there a way to make it happen only to the dekstop… My site name is http://www.himalsandesh.com
Hi worldinsport,
Usually the h1 is set on logo, if you are using a cloud header from tagDiv Cloud Library, you can have a different H1 per page/posts, another way is to using the Page Builder + Page Title on page template, this should set your page title as h1 and remove the h1 from logo.
If you want that your title to have the h1 set instead of logo, then please check if you are using a cloud header, if yes, then you can edit it with tagDiv Composer and disable the h1 -> http://prntscr.com/q1ohji from desktop and make sure that you do the same for mobile logo -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xVUjIMUelXA2 -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ABTw6DUnbMjH and the problem will be solved!
The above code that you mentioned is set in many files, but is not the one that is set the h1 -> https://i.imgur.com/OToEtow.png
If there is still a problem, please provide me a link where I can check this problem.
Thank you!
Hi,
1. If you are using the mobile theme plugin with amp, please make sure that these thumbs are enable in theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/tJwYaS4.png also make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict.
2. The size of featured image can be set on single post templates from tagDiv Cloud Library, these can be edited with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/I48JRwu.jpg
Thank you!
Hi,
Please replace you code with this one -> https://i.imgur.com/SWXMeRk.jpg
#td-mobile-nav, .td-menu-background{
width: 20%;
}
.td-menu-mob-open-menu #td-outer-wrap {
box-shadow: 0 0 46px #000000;
position: unset;
transform: unset;
}
Hope this will help you!
Hi,
You can set on mobile two images on row, like this, set in a row an image and set on mobile the width like this -> https://i.imgur.com/cIfxDFD.png after that set the image to be display inline block -> https://i.imgur.com/DV17MPj.png then you need to do the same thing for the second image (if you want you can use the right click and copy and page and only you change the image) -> https://i.imgur.com/p5qbStW.png
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hi topgunsalute238,
But you change only the menu, not the logo -> https://i.imgur.com/Ygl0NIF.png or the background color (click on logo then on mobile menu -> https://i.imgur.com/mlKUwc4.png -> https://i.imgur.com/UZSyPfI.png).
Hi jarguedas,
Please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Also please provide some more details about this problem and some screenshots.
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi calin, on Saturday, I already tried this – removed all ads from desktop and mobile view. Our desktop speed in Gtmetrix and page speed reached up to 95! That’s superb!
But on mobile theme, it was still 55 only!
Hi,
Please take a look to our demos that is using the mobile theme plugin -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_local_news/ this one do not have any extra optimization for pages speed.
You can make this quick test, disable all extra plugins and let only theme plugins (eventually you can let the plugins for optimizations) cleat all cache and check the pages speed, also after that you can make one more test without ads, sometime the problem is that is take a longer time until these are delivered from external links.
Thank you for your understanding!
Let me know the results!
Our site is getting domain/page/2 domain/page/3 up to 15 pages in the google index. Check https://globaltechgadgets.com/
Maybe it is because of mobile theme which shows 1,2,3,.. pages from the homepage. you have to fix it asap as it is causing SEO issues.
ALSO, I do not want https://globaltechgadgets.com/tdb_templates/footer-default-pro/ this page to be in Google index. It does not make sense why theme/tagDiv templates are getting indexed in Google. I have already excluded it from Yoast.
You need to fix these issues!
A critical issue with the Theme:
https://www.star-7dz.com/the-jaw-dropping-women-of-the-big-bang-theory-have-come-a-long-way/
Mobile Theme is unstable and changes to Responsive randomly!!!!!
It worked okay I guess up until couple of days ago and not it is happening like that.
I’m loosing too much money because of that.
Vlad please don’t write to me: “please check that all requirements are set correctly”???!!! – I DID IT ALREADY
Thank you, Vlad. The issues are resolved. The issues stemmed from adding the Logo & Favicon, Logo for Mobile in the Theme panel section. Logo needs to be changed via the main page template.

Hi Support Team,
My newspaper theme appearance has been acting up a lot recently as we are starting to grow in users and size. I have found that after removing plugins or altering content on the backend and reposting it, helps get the website back to normal appearance.
However, this time when I am not logged into my website, the appearance on the desktop is that of the mobile theme. (latest articles) It looks horrible. I can’t possibly grow my business if I know that these problems will appear for no apparent reason for our readers. Please help me. https://buttonwoodtree.net/
EDIT: I removed the mobile theme tagdiv plugin, as well as the AMP. Problem solved except on the mobile theme it is now the regular style of the website (preferred) but my readers can’t login.
Please help me with this as I would like to continue using tagdiv newspaper for the long term as many of my competitors do as well. What can I do to limit these random massive malfunctions?
Thank you,
Noah
Hi all,
I would like to change title and description text dimension according to viewport (reducing for mobile for sure). Seems that I cannot do that. Do you have any advice?
Thanks,
Max
Hi, I recently installed your Newspaper theme. Everything seems fine BUT I’m having a hard time fixing your mobile theme issues, esp with caching. I carefully followed all the recommended settings (https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/). I’m also using your recommended plugin, WP Super Cache.
However, the issue keeps recurring on the website. On desktop, it shows the mobile version of the website. If I clear the cache, it works temporarily, but after some time the problem appears again. How do I solve this recurring problem?
