Thanks for your reply. I have checked now it was because of that mobile theme. When mobile theme is active it hides the ticker, ads and a few other things from the page.

On desktop/laptop computers, my website functions perfectly. But on Mobile, I have a recurring problem: when opening articles, it sometimes returns directly to the homepage. I’ve tried opening the same exact link on my laptop, and it opens immediately. But on mobile, it redirects to the homepage. I’ve had several people tell me the same thing. Any ideas?

Hi Vlad!

The link you provided is for this support topic. (https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-site-looks-different-than-pc-site/)
Can you provide the link or the WP Super Cache plugin you recommended?

Thanks!

Got it working! Thank you.

However I am facing another problem. I disable sticky menu and they still show up both desktop and mobile. How do I completely disable them?

Thank you

Vlad, I use plugins that; Akismet Anti-Spam, AMP, Autoptimize, Really Simple SSL, Smush, Sucuri Security – Auditing, Malware Scanner and Hardening, tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Mobile Theme, tagDiv Social Counter, Yoast SEO, UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore.

Which conflict?

Hi Calin,

I already did but, as I said before, now Google indexes mobile for all SERP.
So the only solution is to fix the yoast variable on the mobile theme.

Thanks

Hello,

Yes, is look that the google indexed the url for the homepage on mobile theme to desktop too, there may be a chance to fix this problem by asking the Google to recrawl/reindex your URLs -> https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/6065812?hl=en

Thank you!

Hello, I use the theme newspaper and on my site, when I click on the 3 bars in the top right on mobile, the menu is not displayed. It’s blocked. Can you tell me how to fix this problem? Thank you

Hi again,

To explain further the SEO issue, look at this SERP: https://ibb.co/7gm9KzW
The result I circled is https://www.mondeoz.com/page/2/
But, on desktop, my HP doesn’t have a second page. So it’s showing the content of the 1st HP. And so it’s “duplicate content”. Moreover, as it’s showing the 1st HP, it doesn’t include the Yoast Page variable (“page 2”) and again the meta title is duplicate (with the one of the 1st HP).

The reason of all this is because now Google indexes websites from their mobile version.

As Newspaper mobile theme provides several HP pages, Google indexes them all, even for desktop SERP.

Hope it helped and you guys will manage to find a solution for the next update.

Thanks

Hi Calin,

Yes, it seems that this code broke the mobile version of my website.
I’ve just removed it and now it works well again.

Thanks

Hello,

I think that you are referring to this banner -> http://prntscr.com/p8jgub if is so then you need to add it in the header ads but if you are using the mobile theme, then you need to add the banner ad in mobile theme ads too -> http://prntscr.com/p8jic2 .

Thank you!

Hello !

That comes from your cache. On our side your webstie looks ok.

For cache we recommend WP Super Cache plugin. Find out more about it here :https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-site-looks-different-than-pc-site/

Hello,

I tried to check your mobile version, but is seems that there are some problems -> http://prntscr.com/p8jahm
Also we are doing our best to fix all the bugs from the theme, so we hope that this problem will be fix for the coming updates.

Hello !

The designs do not match because you are using the mobile theme. The Mobile theme was specially designed for optimization on mobile devices. Unfortunately on mobile theme you cannot do much changes of design. If you want to have the same design as on desktop mode you can achieve that by simply disabling the mobile theme.

You will have to recreate your pages into the Mobile editor.

Also you can disable mobile theme on certain pages or posts by following this setting:

Please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you !

Hello,

Ever since we have enabled the mobile + amp theme, we have been facing constant problems.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/404-error-2/

First of all there was a problem of crawler 404 error which we fixed by adding rel = “nofollow to amp theme.
https://prnt.sc/p8hmm0

But now we are facing a new problem.
We added our website 20 days ago in the search console but even after 20 days the amp page is not indexed and in mobile usability, only home page is showing.
https://prnt.sc/p8how6

Please help me fix this issue.
Thanks

Hi. I’d like to add a leaderboard advertisement like the one on forum.tagdiv.com! What is the best way to do this? If I use Google responsive ads it should shrink for mobile so I probably only need one piece of code? <div class=”leaderboard”>Ad goes here.</div>

Hi Vlad,

Right now when my site is viewed on a computer it now looks like the mobile site that I referred to previously. The computer site does not show the widgets that I used. It seems like the computer site and the mobile site change throughout the day without me making any changes. Sometimes the computer site shows correctly and other times it looks like the mobile site. The mobile site does this as well. Why does it change without me making any changes? Please help!

Thanks!

Hi all,

Since I enabled AMP and the mobile them everything is working just fine except for one page made by the tagdiv composer.
This page gives an error on mobile equipment.

Please help:). BTW. AMP is not enabled on pages.

I just tried that option, but because I am not using the mobile theme, I do not have “mobile theme” under plugin options. The subcategories are still not showing on in the menus on mobile devices.

As title stated, I want the sidebar of any post to show only on pc not on the mobile and tablet. Is it possible?

Hello !

At the moment you are not using the mobile theme so it won’t make a difference since the responsive version ( that you are currently running ) is the same as desktop.

Thank you !
