How can I do this?

When we use your default headers the sticky menu shows our logo when scrolling down.
However, now we have created a customized main menu, and we can’t find out where/how to set the logo to be shown on the sticky menu. This goes both for desktop and mobile.

Thanks!

I created a new page which is looking good at desktop and tablet screens. On mobile device only the headline is showing up. The page contains some text and a form.

Any idea what is going wrong?

Dear, unfortunately I have an urgent problem. After the new update I activated the mobile theme and set it to AMP only. Now I get only in Responsive / Mobile, of course, a faulty search result box. Disabled mobile plugin, everything is ok.

In the setting Mobile + Amp it is normal. Incorrect in the AMP setting. In the search box no background is displayed. Photos too big. Column is not right.

amp-mobile

I’ve already disabled everything in AMP Settings. No success.

The problem is unfortunately urgent, because the search is mobile only limited use.

thanks alot. nice weekend. Ciao Rick

Thank you very much Calin for your reply. I hope that in future updates we can fix this detail, it would be fantastic.

I found a way to solve it “temporarily” and by cheating a little.

It consists of copying the code from the template to a page, and use this page as a “false category” in the menu of the web. To avoid duplicate content, I recommend using yoast seo and putting in these fake pages, noindex-nofollow.

In this way, we can maintain “categories” with the normal aesthetics of cloud templates, in mobile version.

Another option would be to add individually in each of these false pages, a canonical rel label, towards the original category. But I can’t find any plugin that allows me to edit the head of pages individually.

I hope it helps you, now the categories also look great: https://cutt.ly/ELewyj

Hi,

I just updated my blog to 9.7.4 and got two problem. my blog link is https://irfan.id.

1. Post font don’t follow as font setting. Please look at this pic https://prnt.sc/ohk7wr, post content font should be Sans Light, but it’s not (blue box). Meanwhile, font for the list followed as setting Sans Light (green box). Post content and Lists font should be the same.

2. I tried to change mobile theme font. But it doesn’t change the font, only font size changed.

Thanks,
Irfan

Hi, team tagDiv.

Everything was fine prior to update. But after that the search icon disappeared while the menu icon and logo are overlapping each other. It results in serious fall in performance in terms of UX. It happens only on the mobile version of the theme.

Please see this screenshot.

When I put my site into developer mode, the top grid does not stack correctly like the default demo for newspaper.

Hello team,

Something strange happens with the menu of my web pages, in mobile version.

I don’t know if it’s something that only happens to me, or if it’s something I’ve configured wrong, or if it’s an error.

If I enter my website from a mobile, to the main page, and open the menu, it looks like this:

But, if I enter any publication, or any category, and then access the menu, the menu looks like this:

This happens with all my web pages.

The main page menu is always different from the menu that appears from anywhere else on the website.

Is this normal?

Hi,

The fix was make inside the mobile theme plugin, in td_mobile_theme.php on the line 183 this code $post_id = url_to_postid( $_SERVER['REQUEST_SCHEME'] . '://' . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] . $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] ); was change with this one $post_id = url_to_postid('https://' . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] . $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] ); because our website do not provide a $_SERVER[‘REQUEST_SCHEME’] this was change with https.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

Thanks for your response. What I meant to include in my original query was….I thought there were issues with the Cloud Library templates and the mobile menus not working as well as expected..and these were being worked on with a view to a fix being implemented. If these bugs were being implemented soon, then I would prefer to hang on before purchasing…

Ian

Hi,

So if I understand correctly you want to have the desktop version on mobile, so in this way you’ll have the light box effect on images, if is so and you are using the responsive version of the theme, this should work without problems, but please notice that if you are using the mobile theme you’ll need to use the new option for the responsive content on mobile theme -> http://prntscr.com/oh6r2s you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!

Hi,

If you do not like the mobile theme functionality, you should simply disable the mobile theme plugin from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/iE77nS2GQDM.

Thank you!

Hi,

The categories made in the section cloud templates, are not edited with Gutenberg. I don’t know the reason, but this prevents you from using the category as “responssive” instead of “mobile”.

Is there any way to adapt the categories made with cloud templates to “responssive”?

Hi,

I have checked your website and I saw that your menu items do not have a link and that’s why your menu is not working. Neither on the mobile nor on the desktop. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/fqLQTkI23 You should check the main menu appearance from here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/mdXBcyr5yg and use the page element.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

The mobile theme page content cannot be created with the composer, if you want the content from desktop (created with the composer) to be displayed on mobile, deactivate the plugin.

The mobile theme is created to be fast on phones, it can’t display composer content and uses predefined templates.

After the latest theme update, the mobile theme can be disabled per page/post. So for example if you want a page to not use the mobile theme, it can be done in the page edit screen – http://prntscr.com/oh5gvm
This has been a much requested feature, it is now available. Also there have been some other improvements to the mobile theme in this update. Changelog can be seen at the bottom of this page – https://themeforest.net/item/newspaper/5489609

Thanks

Hi,

In order to achieve that you’ll need to go in Theme panel>Mobile theme>Mobile settings and disable the SHOW SIGN IN / JOIN option; you can check more about this option in this documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

Thank you!
