Just fyi —

The envato ‘plugin’ updater will never work 100% of the time and may break site.

Always *best* to do it via FTP, as you can make a safety backup of your site before uploading new folders, in case something breaks or bad plugin causes site to not work at all due to some unexpected compatibility issue.

Also remember when doing major upgrade
– backups should be made of working website
– you will need to update theme, and theme related plugins; disable other plugins for testing
– disable any caching plugins, clear caching

@drvarun5179 I am very sceptical about using Cloudflare coz my blog is fast without it and I am wary to give them the permissions they ask when setting up. Plus my site is fast with autoptimize and wp fastest cache. Thnx for list @epickenyan , i have been using WpFastestCache and AutoOptimize previously. But WpSuperCache is the most supported Cache plugin for Newspaper theme when using Cloudfare+CLoudfare’s Rocket script. I had to abandon the former ones because in the end, lots of plugin only adds to server load and hence a slower server response time.

In addition, I also use the following:
1. WP BItly – WP Bitly can be used to generate shortlinks for your website posts, pages, and custom post types. Extremely lightweight and easy to set up!
2. Use Google Libraries – Allows your site to use common javascript libraries from Google’s AJAX Libraries CDN, rather than from WordPress’s own copies.
3. WP Fastest Cache – I use it with Autoptimize since it makes my site faster than wp super cache.

Hello @dhapenk , the process limit is hitting because of the search bar present in the newspaper theme. I had have been that issue too, i solved it using heartbeat plugin which removed a lot of load from my hosting panel. Apart from that, use Wp-Optimize to make more space in database. Hope it helps. I think I have found a good plugin for wordpress.
it intercepts calls to Google fonts in a page, and it will check if there is a local version of the font (on the server where the blog is installed), otherwise it will download it and then replace the link to offer this copy local.

Only I do not know if the code is clean and really valid for wordpress, knowing that the plugin was made in 2015 and is no longer maintained by the developer.

ok clear, but I think this code need only if I want to edit my page with page builder, right?

So, why if I visit a page and I’m not logged-in, the page must contain this unnecessary HTML + Javascript? Can be an idea, to optimize, remove it if i’m not logged on wordpress admin because no one need to edit my CSS live when visit my site.

Google will skip images which may be copied from other sources, already in their index; they may skip images which look like ad banners (‘too much text’), or which have too little photo data (e.g., a gif converted to jpeg might only be 16 colors; vs thousands of colors in a proper photographic image). Images which may contain meta data and not optimized for web may also be skipped.

FYI, Google AMP now ‘requires’ images be at least 696 pixels wide, which means all sites should generally consider moving up from 600x and 640x to 696 (696 is presuming 700 pixel container with one pixel border, for those non technical folks wondering about that). Google News doesn’t yet have this requirement, but it’s something to consider. if the image is too small, they may skip it and use something else.

Similarly – using generic file names is a huge nono. “Image12345.jpg” is bad. “180202-jeg-696×522.jpg” is good. Also, your image file names should always have the dimensions in there, for best results.
